The pho soup was pretty good though we also ordered some dried noodle (sautéed) but it was just so-so. But at least the pho was good. This is pretty much a whole in the wall restaurant so it's good for work lunch with coworkers. The service was okay too, and typical honestly. They were very nice though.

This is hands down one of the best phos, we love the filet mignon pho. Delicious broth, nice noodles and great meat. The vermicelli bowl is disappointing though, it lacks flavor in the sauce and the meat is also very fatty and not grilled enough. Nonetheless, the pho is bomb, so if you are looking for a really nice bowl, it's the best around.

Pleasant environment and great service! - Pho beef rib 5/5 Flavorful soup base and ribs with lots of beef on them. A must try if you come to this restaurants. BE CAREFUL for small broken bones in the soup - could be dangerous for babies or hurt your teeth - pork roll 2.5/5 Looks like spam pork from the cans, not fresher grilled pork - pad Thai 3/5 Okay dish. I recommend pho here more than the stir fried noodles. The pad Thai noodles were sticking and dry when served

Such a cute little Vietnamese restaurant in Kirkland. They've got a rich menu, with lots of choices for mains. It would be nice to have a gluten free (gf) sign on the dishes that are gf - just makes it easier for people with dietary requirements. Service was good and timely. I love that you can order the pho in different sizes (bowls shown on a wall). Husband ordered the P14 and loved it. I got the vegetable fried rice with shrimp.

    - hidden upgrade pricing - Food: 2 stars Price: 2 stars Service: 2 stars Ambiance: 3 stars Overall: 2.25 stars We came for lunch on Friday around 11 am, and we got seated after standing at the entrance for a while because none of the three waiter/waitress greeted us even though they could see us... I ordered C1 deluxe crispy egg noodles with seafood $17 (+$2 for seafood) and my husband got the P1, pho filet mignon $15. The pho soup was on the lighter side, definitely not as flavorful as other places. My dish looks good, but the sauce wasn't it. It was too greasy for me. I also found out about the extra $2 charge for seafood which was nowhere to be found on the menu. Most places make it super clear, but this place was sly about it. Not to mention the waitress also didn't tell us about it. It came with 4 pieces of shrimps and 5 pieces of squid, and I really don't think it's worth. Not to mention the squid is completely tasteless. I'd recommend ordering something that's not seafood or shrimp to avoid the surcharge. Overall I didn't enjoy the meal, and they didn't even have bun bo hue here, which was also disappointing. Plus the portion of the bean sprouts they gave out for the pho was quite pathetic as well... I rarely come here, but I will make sure to visit elsewhere if I'm in the area again.

I'm still trying to find decent pho restaurant on the Eastside and I happened to be close by here. Cut to the chase: pho broth was light, and didn't pack enough of a dense flavor. While my wife liked the pork and chicken of her bun/vermicelli dish, the accompanying fish sauce was pale and lacked flavor. Out of curiosity I ordered the a dry style egg noodle with wontons and BBQ pork which itself was okay, but again the accompanying dipping soup base was too light. While the service was kind, the food came out at different times too, which makes it a bit tough to stall a hungry toddler.

Service is quick and easy! Overall not a bad bowl of pho and a good portion. Pho combo: they give a pretty good amount of each meat and also tripe, some meat was good but some of the meat was stringy and chewy. The meat quality wasn't the best that I've had at a pho spot, so that's the main reason why my bowl wasn't as enjoyable They have a pretty extensive menu, so I might try other dishes too when I'm back in the area

To the viet braddah and sista for continuing on your mama's recipe i thank you for always curing my hangover. If you're feeling more umami go to here if you like your pho sweet cafe 79 is the spot. Place got an open concept kitchen so you can see your food being made. So if they really didn't like you, you would know what those extra bubbles mean. Bulk approved

This place is such a cute find. The place is very clean and a 5min drive from Totem Lake town center. The service was great, very attentive and nice. I order the vegetable pho and it was one of the best veggie broths I've had! A little on the sweet side and I wish they had chilli oil at the table but would order again. My partner ordered the chicken fried rice and said it was a 4/5- a bit too sweet and oily for his taste but enjoyed it all the same. The bill was about $32 before tip for the 2 items. A bit expensive for pho but also there is a lot of money in the area so understandable. Follow me more local reviews

One liner: $20 per person ish and don't forget to try their tofu appetizers. This is a nice little restaurant in a Kirkland strip mall with ample parking. The restaurant is clean inside and has quite a few tables for seating so I don't expect it to run out of space for dine in. The ambience is nice with an Asian vibe to it. The staff is fast and attentive. They won't do much small talk but that's okay because you're here coz you're hungry :) not coz you wanna chat. The food was delicious. I don't know how they do it but their spiced garlic tofu was so soft and so magnificent. Their vegetarian pho was also delicious with yummy noodles. It's really cool that they also have vegetarian broth for the true veggie lovers out there. I recommend this restaurant.

This was on a Friday at 6pm and we came to a very empty parking lot until you try parking closer to the many businesses located along the Bella Bottega Shopping Center where this gem is located. Inside is very casual with a ton of tables that can seat various group sizes, and my friend and I got a seat closest to the register. Menu has typical items for a Vietnamese restaurant like pho, banh mi sandwiches, bun, rice dishes and vegetarian options. There was actually a lot of stuff so I was slightly overwhelmed. I got their large phở tái bò viên, which is pho with medium rare beef and meatballs. Note that there is only a $1 difference before tax between the medium- and large-size pho, and I saw the medium bowls being much smaller than the large one I got, so it's worth getting the larger one! Broth is warm, aromatic and comforting with the right amount of everything, and the meats inside gave it more depth. The noodles kept together easily in my bowl and did not break apart easily when picking them up with my chopsticks. I also asked for extra beef, which is $4 more; this was put inside my pho instead of being served raw on a separate plate like i've seen in other Vietnamese restaurants. My friend got their Yummy Noodles house special bun with chicken, and he loved it a lot! It was served in the same bowl size as the large pho I got, hence he couldn't finish what was in front of him entirely. It has that hole-in-the-wall feel off Aurora, but honestly, this is some of the best Vietnamese food I have ever had. A lot of places have been average, or they have dishes like bún riêu or bún bò Huế on the menu but do not really do them well. Lotus Pond does. I tried the bún riêu and the bò né with steak and sizzling eggs, and both were delicious. My friend got the seafood pho and loved it too. Everything tasted like someone actually cared about the food, and I really appreciated seeing menu items that you usually have to search far and wide for, or go somewhere like Orange County or Houston to find done properly. Fast forward a year later to a Sunday at 12:30pm and I finally made the long drive here without going through Aurora Ave since my GPS randomly decided to give my road rage some grace. This place has plenty parking around the perimeter, so it was easy settling in. Only confusion was finding the entrance to this place, but when I did I was actually surprised where I was stepping into. Inside is laid back and cool with plenty of seating for groups of various sizes. There's tables and booths, and I got booth seating for myself when I walked in. There's a TV playing sports nearby where I was, and Vietnamese pop music was playing in the background too. Menu consists of regular foods in most Vietnamese restaurants, though their provincial noodle soups and banh mi sandwiches caught my eye. They even have bún măng vịt (duck and bamboo shoot noodle soup), my favorite that I gotta try next time I come here! From my IG feeds and as a starting point, I got their bánh mì thịt heo nướng (grilled pork Vietnamese sandwich), which comes with all the works of a regular banh mi sandwich, though I was kinda surprised how brightly orange the grilled pork was. Regardless, it was tasty and the meat was juicy. The pork pate added a nice savory touch to the sandwich, and no other condiment was in excess that it took away taste from the flavorful grilled pork. Staff was very kind throughout, and refilled my water every now and then. It was also nice chatting with one of them about our day and other recommendations from the menu. There's so much to have on their menu so I need to make the drive here again to have more of their stuff!

It was very flavorful, a little bit on the sweeter side, had a lot of meet, including oxtail, meatballs, and tendon. The meet to noodle ratio was great, and the soup base was not really spicy. The only thing missing from the traditional bun Bo hue is the pork blood and the banana leaves vegetables. But other than that, it was really good. The host was very quiet and although I didn't hear him, luckily my daughter did. I asked for a five star curry with Salmon, but they informed me that they could only do three stars so ordered the three star curry, a side of spicy sauce and rice. My daughter ordered the Phad See Eiw with tofu. The server delivered the wrong noodle dish, I immediately said that it wasn't what we ordered; she ignored me, dropped it off and left for the next table where they informed her that she had swapped the dishes. The salmon was quite good, seared and crispy around the edges. The curry wasn't spicy at all, so I had to add the full side of spicy sauce. The spicy sauce made it spicy enough, but it was sour. I tried to explain this to the server; instead of hearing me out she immediately brought more spicy sauce. Finally I was able to get them to cook the curry with the spicy sauce making it less sour and the flavor was good. The rice was definitely insufficient for the amount of curry ordered, which I found strange given how cheap rice is. I tried my daughters noodles. They use a cheaper oil and added lots of sugar, making it a sub par dish. We also ordered a young coconut, but it wasn't that young and the meat was hard. At $12 for an item that costs $1.50 I was underwhelmed. Overall the dishes were hit and miss, and the service was sub par. Try it at your own risk.
