Delicious pho! Period. The salads and vermicelli are also really good. I don't know what they do to their tofu but it's definitely some of the best flavored tofu with an awesome texture too. I usually get the Pho mignon, and add tofu to it because it's so good. Or just get it on the side. After a long hiatus, we ventured out for pho. We decided to try a spot that would be new to us, so ended up here. The important things are: great broth, both the standard beef and especially the veggie. His order: just as he wanted. I tasted and enjoyed not only his veggie broth: complex and full: a welcome departure from many veggie offerings! But also liked the tofu. Mine? Good broth, standard toppings. Average pho, but filling. I like this place, but it's not Michelin Star French Vietnamese by a long shot. It has a couple of negatives that take away from the overall experience, but all in all they serve a tasty cheap bowl of pho, with a smile. First, just to be clear, this place is two doors down from the worst Thai place in Kirkland (see my reviews); so I approached Pho Mignon with trepidation. Fortunately, the kitchens are vastly different in food safety and it shows in the crisp clean taste of every meat in the bowl. The negative, and it's a minor critique, is that their pho broth is a little watery. I'd like a slightly more robust broth to stand against the noodles. The decor is neat and orderly, and the music mostly unobtrusive while eating or chatting. Service is a bit iffy; one server always looks like she's going to bite you if you complain, but has always been incredibly nice to me. Cleanliness is up to par here, the tables cleaned afterward, and the utensils are right at your fingertips if you need a fresh spoon or chopsticks. I've gone twice now and had a great lunch each time. If you're in the mood for pho, this place will fill that craving at a low price point. read more

I've tried quite a few different pho places around the greater Seattle area and this is by far my favorite. The inside is warm, clean and inviting. They have a fish tank with pretty bright neon colored fish. As soon as you walk in, someone is there greeting you with menus. They quickly seat you and get you drinks. The service is pretty great, and fairly quick. The pho itself is delicious. They use more tender meat compared to most places, so it practically melts in your mouth. Everything is hot and fresh. They have bubble tea too which is pretty tasty. I normally get the fried egg rolls too which are just sooooooo good and perfectly crispy. After your meal, they bring you each a small little scoop of sherbert. Just writing this review makes me want to go there right now and get some pho. read more

Yay! Finally, good pho on the Eastside. We've tried the nearby Pho Express and Specialties (horrible salty broth), Than Bros. in Redmond (creepy dirty restaurant) and the way underwhelming Yummy Pho by Bella Botega. Pho Mignon was far and away the most tasty pho. I always get the vegetarian pho, so I can't comment on the meat dishes, but their tofu was ridiculously good- crispy and flavorful on the outside and soft and tender on the inside- not at all rubbery. The broth (chicken, not vegetarian) was flavorful and had a good amount of spice (the anise and ginger stood out) and not too salty. The ratio of vegetables to noodles to broth was just right, but I would have appreciated more tofu (it was so good!). Service was attentive and friendly, the thai iced tea was creamy and delicious... and!! the meal ended with a tiny scoop of green tea ice cream. I love those little extra touches. My only complaint is that they did not have sriracha/cock sauce, but served an unbranded bottle of neon red sauce instead. I really like this neighborhood place wedged in a strip mall that houses Value Village in Kirkland. The service is super speedy, and the servers are polite, kind, and helpful. It's not an unusual place or menu, but it's delicious. My favorite dish is the Lemongrass Tofu Bun, which is deep fried tofu on pho noodles with some greens and delicious lemongrass seasoning. I definitely recommend asking for a side of the fish sauce and give it a good dollop of chili paste (on the table). So flavorful and good~ I usually finish it all! The Pho here is also very good- favorite is the veggie pho with either chicken or beef broth with extra tofu. Small does me just fine.. be warned..the small here is not small. The large is outrageous! The summer rolls need more flavor, but are still a nice healthy appetizer or side, with the peanut dipping sauce. The bubble tea is decent--a couple of times it's been too sweet for me, but other times it's been fine. Occasionally they have fresh fruit available, so ask. It's the best spot in the area, and they have good wifi too! :) read more

They now have iced coffee - and it's delicious! The food is consistently good - the sandwiches are still the best you can get in the area (not as cheap, but at least you're paying for something good) and the service is unmatched as far as typical pho joints go. It was my BF's 2nd time having Pho, and all he remembered was that the first time he didn't like it, and he didn't know what all the fuss was about.... I came here to this restaurant 30 minutes before closing - my bad. I knew they had quick service and just wanted something very fast. Big mistake. Although my pho came out quickly, it was was too salty. The worst part though, was the entire waitstaff stood around glaring at me the entire time. I noticed them glaring at the other patrons in the restaurant in the same way, too. Blatantly and venomously. I ate my scalding hot pho as fast as I could and got the hell out. Pretty good pho here. The broth was tasty, not too salted and not too bland. Got the pho #1 with mignon. The beef was really tender but wished there was a bit more meat. The small was enough to satisfy me but I also had to get their fresh spring rolls. The peanut dipping sauce was excellent! It did come with a bit too much lettuce. Could use some mint or better seasoned meat. It's great to dip into the sauce but didn't hold up well on its own. Service was pretty good. The pho is excellent. I was very impressed with how flavorful the broth was, I wanted to drink the whole bowl! I got a large portion and it was quite filling, although the broth to food ratio seemed like there was a little too much broth. Spring rolls were also good, but they left a lot of lettuce sticking out of one end, so that threw off the balance of the roll a little bit. Also, the rolls stuck together quite a bit, which made separating them to eat them a bit of a challenge. Vietnamese coffee was tasty, although I'll admit I am no coffee connoisseur. I was a bit disappointed that the glass was only 2/3 full however. It could be that they just used the wrong size cup, but I was expecting the glass/mug of whatever size to be full so this was a little bit of a let down. Service was good, very efficient, I would definitely consider coming back here again. The weekday lunch rush gets pretty crowded, so I was fortunate to come on the earlier side (11:30am) before it got busy. read more

Only been here once, but from what I have eaten, this place is legit. When you eat pho, you want the broth to have flavor but not that MSG flavor that hits you when you get home. They have three sizes, Medium, Large and XL. The XL is really big. Large is the right size for a hungry male and really hungry female. Next thing to try will be their grilled meats. I got the Short Ribs which were delicious and juicy but less fat and gristle would be nice. Came with an egg onto plus rice and tiny salad.

The pho has very strong star anise taste. The grilled pork is on sweet side. After few visits, the quantity of meat is decreasing to the point that it's not much grilled pork on the vermicelli dishes. There are lots of lettuce and bean sprouts. 3 tiny egg rolls for almost $8 bucks are not very satisfying. Tried the bahn mi with grilled pork and couldn't taste the meat coz there were barely any. read more

Didn't you just say you were unsatisfied, you bemoan? Well, I went back in recently because of a combination of lazy and curiosity. The place was packed! How could it be bad if it was packed? So I gave it a second shot. Pho Mignon has really improved since my first visit. The pho is delicious, the bahn mi is great and is only improved when dipped in the pho. My wife and I really liked this place. It was the first Vietnamese restaurant in the area that we found had an actual good variety of dishes. We'd been talking about com bo luc lac (rice with filet mignon cubes) which we hadn't had since living in Dallas. Well, this place delivered. Theirs was really good! I think the plate could've been decorated better somehow, but aside from that it was as good as it gets. Other than that, the coffee was good, but too sweet for my tastes. Allow me to introduce something about me: I have a disease called "Past Pho Phailure". My acupuncturist said to go eat pho today after my treatment, so I Yelped my nearest-to-home eatery and this came up four-stars next to another and I am very glad to have read the Elite reviews. Inside: Ehhh...decent music. Seemed very clean. Extremely friendly. Décor was chill...but lackluster...but thank goodness not plastered like a lot of pho or Chinese or Mexican food places. I had the Pho Mignon XL Pho as well as the Fried Spring Rolls. All for $26. I am going to have easily 3-4 meals out of the entire lot. I would have taken a picture but was famished. I walked in, was greeted with a smile by two young girls, told them I don't EVER order pho but knew I wanted to order Pho Mignon (one of their house specials), but did ask for assistance with their spring rolls. Kim, offered all of their items on their menu, and made recommendations. I personally chose to order the extra large pho so I could have leftovers of the broth. I did not expect to come home and have raw meat in my to-go box; luckily I have food experience and knew the broth was VERY hot and the filet was VERY thinly sliced. In other words, would cook instantly in the broth. Not having much personal pho eating experience, but having been with others, I threw all of the extras including the onions, jalapeno (minus the seeds; I'm not a heat person), the fresh lime juice, cut in my basil leaves (rubbing their fragrance into my fingers along the way), as well as bean sprouts into the two Styrofoam tubs of broth. Once the rice noodles were added, I just wanted the flavors to meld... The spring rolls were good. Not stellar. A decent amount of basil. The romaine lettuce used dark and leafy. The shrimp was miniscule though and barely there. Fried on the outside and then wrapped with the rice paper gave this a different twist. Peanut sauce or fish sauce was offered; I chose the earlier. It was tasty. Overall, just okay. I have PLENTY more pho and I'm thrilled about that! I would have liked the filet to have been salted though as it tasted bland - but I guess that's what happens when you choose to order a meat such as filet. I know better. Really, I do. read more

We are regulars and love to come here. The staff is always friendly and fast and the pho is delicious. Upon the last visit of this place, my boyfriend and I noticed a weird texture on the beef. He didn't have anymore meat after the first bite while I just shrugged it off as maybe tooth sensitivity or something and continued eating it. Boy was that a mistake. A day or so later I suddenly came down with the worst food poisoning I've probably ever had. So so violently sick. When I remembered everything I consumed in that week, all was normal regularly eaten stuff. Then we remembered our strange pho meat. I considered not writing this review because we do love this place, but the amount of pain and suffering that came from my rare beef bowl was absurd! And it's incredibly dangerous to serve potentially old/bad meat to customers. I'm not sure when we will return again, maybe if they get that okay safety rating up. I was a regular for years before I moved away from the area. Those of you local to here don't know how good you have it. All of the pho near me has barely any flavor and tough meat to chew through. I dream of the filet Mignon p1 being 5 minutes away again. I ate here multiple times a week and never encountered any bad service for years. This is the only pho restaurant I've gone to where they refill waters AND ask how everything is tasting. The three spots near me now ask "what you want?" And that's about all the ever say to you til you're paying, and their broth is watery tasting with no flavor. Our offices recently moved from the Queen Anne area of Seattle to Kirkland which made me and my coworkers a little nervous about the quality of our lunches. We go out for Pho quite a bit and did our research on the Eastside. Pho Mignon had a catchy name giving the perception that their steak pho is filet mignon which is also indicated on the menu. Tastes great to me but couldn't tell you if it's true or not. For me it doesn't come down to the meat, it comes down to the flavor of the broth which is very unoriginal and bland at an average pho place. Pho Mignon has made sure their Pho has a distinct flavor and rivals even Seattles finest places such as Pho Cyclo. We'll keep coming back but I would suggest getting rid of the Nag Champa incense that burns near the front door. read more
