I've been craving lemongrass chicken and decided to try a new pho spot. We came across Pho Momma while driving back home, and I'm so glad we decided to give it a try! What a fantastic little place! I will say, it gets super busy around lunchtime, so I recommend going when they first open if you want to beat the crowd. The inside is on the smaller side but very clean, and the customer service was great. I ordered my food to go, and it was ready pretty quickly. I was also pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegan options they offer. They even have vegan drinks, which I know will make the vegan lovers happy! Now, let's talk about the food. My lemongrass chicken was absolutely delicious! It definitely satisfied my craving. One thing to keep in mind is that parking is limited, so finding a spot may be a little harder if you come during the busy hours. I can't wait to come back and actually sit down and dine next time. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!
We finally got to try Pho Momma! We had been a couple times before but every time there must be at least 10-12 people standing outside with another 7-8 eating inside so we never tried. We planned it by showing up around 1140ish figuring the first wave of 11 o'clock seater would be out of there in about 45 min. Again there were at least 9 people standing outside with all the extra waiting seats inside taken up. The list had 7 names before us but a lot of 2 tops and groups of 4's. The wait was about 22 minutes which was not bad at all! The atmosphere was not exactly Michelin but the food definitely was! The chili oil wontons were good and not too spicy but the Pho was the star. Clean broth where you don't have to mask it with sauces. Went with the traditional and just raw meat on the side. The meat was ice cold and the size was just right.

Small spot on Folsom Blvd. Plenty of parking available in the plaza. I walked in a little after 5 pm. There were only a few tables left which was good timing on my part. I ordered the number 1 pho. And my friend order their chicken pho. Overall the pho was solid just not memorable. Just a spot that is overhyped by Instagram.
We stopped by before 5 pm on a Thursday and most tables were full. They are busy even on off hours. We were able to be sat right away. This was our second visit. The service is fast and efficient. We ordered the 5 piece wontons in hot chili oil, salt and pepper tofu and #4 pho. The pho was the star of the meal, the broth was bright, flavorful, so delicate. The wonton were good and the oil was tasty but I will not order it again. The tofu was breaded and served in strip form, it tasted of breading more than tofu. We will return but just focus on the pho next time.
Came to see if it was Michelin gourmand worthy. Felt the pho is ok, but nothing that really wows me. The meats were cut super super thin, which is not to my liking. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to return when there are other restaurants that are closer and better.
Just flew in and needed a bowl of pho. Running errands in the area and had to stop in. No regrets. The broth was fully brothy, not some salty soup. The tendon and tripe were cooked properly, the thinly sliced rare beef came out so nicely. I didn't even have to add anything to the broth to make it taste good. Of course I dumped in the basil, sprouts, and jalapeños. I honestly loved the sizes of the bowls. A small was good enough for my wife and I had a medium. I probably could have gone for a small considering we also ordered an appetizer.
The first red flag at this restaurant was the menu. Its a Vietnamese restaurant and the menu is entirely English............. In my opinion this spot was Mid at best. The restaurant is smaller then I thought it would. Its a decent restaurant with some ok decor, but I wasn't worried about what it looked like more then how good the food tastes. We ordered 3 different appetizers, the Fresh Spring Roll, Fresh Spring Roll with crispy inside, and the Shrimp and pork eggrolls. The service was pretty good, we didn't have any issues. All in all is this spot is ok if your in the area and want some pho. I can't say I recommend this spot, so lets just say enter at your own risk.
Came on a Saturday, about a 30 minute wait for a table of 2. Plenty of menu options and great spritzers, I've never had spring rolls with the egg roll inside. I was very pleased about that! I got a green Thai tea, less sweet since I feel they are way too sugary when I order out, and the drink was somewhat bitter but I was able to drink it. The wontons were perfect, nothing they could've done better! The hopes I had for this pho was to the moon and stars, a Michelin star SEA with affordable prices? Hell yeah! The beef pho #3 was so underwhelming.... The broth was much lighter than I expected and I did add garnishments to doctor up the pho but if the broth isn't flavorful and hearty from the first sip then it's not a win in my book. The gentleman serving me was very nice, good customer service but did not check on us or refill water. Butttt tbf it was a full house in there! I would come back to try other recommended menu items (I've been craving vermicelli!) but for pho, definitely not.
We arrived on Sunday night around 7pm and were on the waitlist for about an hour. The service was good and prompt. We got our food 15 minutes after ordering. Both food that we ordered were excellent but I would come back during less busy time. - pho #4 (lean beef, flank, brisket) medium: good. The broth was savory, good, and not too greasy. The bowl itself had lots of meat slices but the noodles portion was too little imo. - chicken wings & rice: my favorite! The chicken wings had crispy coatings and perfectly seasoned (not too salty but very umami). The meat was tender and flavorful.
3rd times the charm! My girlfriends and I FINALLY made it into this famous pho haven here in Sacramento! And it was my FIRST TIME! 01/24/26 This place gets super busy! I attempted to come twice before and it way too busy and there was a wait outside and the place is small compared to other pho locations which are generally bigger in space and capacity. Ambience is nice chill and very homey! The people working there are VERY NICE AND ATTENTIVE! My girlfriends were able to secure a nice big booth while I was still enroute. Imma keep it real, EVERYTHING WE TRIED WAS GOOD! I had water, my girls got Thai Green Tea and Mango Milk and they loved it! I got a Mocha latte to go and it was BOMB! Nice and strong! And I believe the owner came gave it to me, she was soooo nice! Appetizers we got the sweet garlic chicken wings, so crispy and flavorful, fried to perfection. Crispy pork spring rolls were fresh and every bite you get a nice crunch! I ordered a small flank pho with steamed pork wontons with added Napa cabbage and carrots! Their picked jalapeños have a good kick! The small was a perfect size! Perfect for a cold day! And I was able to finish it all for once! I have a lot more to conquer on the menu next time! I think I will order more appetizers because the list was nice long one and I have heard it's all very good! Pho Momma, thank you so much for your kind service hospitality and good food! The restaurant is located in a strip mall with a bunch of other asian restaurants. The place was rather small and filled up quickly. Decor was nice, chairs comfy. The service and food were pretty good. I ordered a small #1 pho and egg rolls. The pho was solid, good broth and tons of noodles. The meat quality was pretty good, but there wasn't that much meat, and the tendon was not cooked long enough. It was a bit crunchy. The egg roll was very good, i liked the filling a lot and it was perfectly crisp. I enjoyed my food, but its a bit out of the way for me, so not sure if it was good enough to warrant the distance. But if I am ever in the area, I think it is a solid pick.
Saw that this restaurant was on the Michelin guide so I wanted to check it out! I honestly thought the pho was fine, nothing extraordinary, but good value. I like that they have multiple sizes at difference price points to choose from. The beef stew was spicier than I expected! It had a strong ginger flavor but it was still good. I would recommend trying the fish sauce chicken wings! The flavor was great and the chicken wings were perfectly crispy. We came in on a Saturday around 7pm and didn't have to wait for a table.

New favorite place to grab some Pho in Sacramento. Was in the area and hungry. So of course it was time to log onto Yelp and see what was in the area. One of the first places that came up was Pho Mamma. It had a simple menu and very good reviews. Also we both love Pho. Arrived around 1230 and the place was full. Always a good sign. Didnt take too long to get seated either. Ordered the rare beef Pho, beef spring rolls and deep fried egg rolls. The pho tastes like it was definitely made from scratch. Sooooo good. Beef was very tender and plenty of it. The egg rolls also tasted freshly made. The beef rolls were just ok. Wrapper was very chewy. Would just get more of the egg rolls. Which is exactly what we did our second visit a week later. Overall if you want some amazing Pho. This is the spot. Great fast service. Reasonable prices. amazing food. Even the bathroom is nice and very clean. read more

I could smell the beef broth while just entering the front door. I had the #3 lean beef pho. I have only had Pho a few times and this was by far the best bowl I have eaten. We had artichoke dumplings and not being what one would expect it was very tasty and spicy. I would order it again. We ordered Vietnamese iced coffee with coffee jellies on the bottom. Really yummy and cooled my mouth as the spice built. The place was really hopping and I could tell many were regulars. The service was spot on. I will definitely be back when I'm ready for more Pho This pho took out my fav that is Raman with a slam dunk. Thanks for lunch Son!!! read more

It's very cute inside. Cozy. Love the blue booths and chairs and the color running through out the restaurant. Twin said the bathroom was very pretty too. Service was polite and nice and they got super busy about 45 minutes after opening. When we left almost all the tables were full so get there early! Ordered the fresh rolls with the pork and crisp. It's very tasty. Love the warm dipping sauce that I assume is a mix of peanut sauce and fish sauce. Almost no notes except I would love if mint and basil was involved. Currently it's topped with carrot spirals, peanuts and cilantro. I think the wrapper needed to be softer bc there was a couple bites where I almost choked on it. The salt and pepper wings with rice is a simple dish but the wings were well fried. Not greasy or over done. Not dried. Pairs perfectly with soy sauce and chili oil. Love the addition of onion and jalapeños. Pho was also nice. Broth came off a little sweet as a base but easy to fix. I think the amount of fresh herbs is a little stingy. I read you can ask for extra but it'll cost ya. The coconut pina colada was delicious. Sweet and refreshing. The coconut coffee was also fantastic. Similar to the one at Saigon Oi but twin like this one better. Would love to come back and try some other items on the menu! read more
We came here for lunch. The restaurant is cute inside, but I did notice the floors were a little dirty. We ordered the salt and pepper calamari, pork sausage with crispy layers roll, and a large pho. I liked the jalapeño and onion pieces that came with the crispy calamari. For the roll, my bf thought it was a hot dog at first that was inside. The crispy layer was nice, but the sauce was just ok. It's like a mixture of peanut sauce and sweet & sour sauce. I got my two favorite proteins for pho- meatballs and tendon. The broth was oily and on the sweeter side. Some of the noodles were clumped together. While I enjoyed my meal overall, there are other pho places closer to me. read more
Took the girls out for an after school snack. Found this newer pho joint after a quick Yelp search. We wanted something quick and nearby the house. I ordered the kid's bowl for the two younger nieces and the two older nieces each ordered a small bowl off of the regular menu. The menu lets you mix and match your preferred proteins so every bowl can be customized to accommodate even the pickiest pho eaters. My date and I ordered the same thing which was the #1 on the menu with everything in it. The pho bowl sizes comes in S, M, and L -- and I will share that if you're hungry, do not order a small bowl. Everyone at the table finished every last bite of their bowls -- even the broth was gone from every bowl so that speaks volume for itself. In my humble opinion, the broth was on point. And, I'm from the Bay Area which by nature -- makes me a pho snob. I can be a harsh critic when it comes to pho but this place certainly has my vote on food. Took my daughter to have some Pho since she was in town visiting. She loved the Pho, great flavor, restaurant was nice and cool inside. Very hip comfortable setting inside. Got chili oil wontons, jalapeño artichoke fried wontons and those two were perfect. Great flavor and a fulfilling appetizer. Service was good and drinks were always filled! read more

Pho Momma is easily one of the best pho spot in Sacramento in my opinion. The beef broth rich, flavorful and their pork egg rolls is a must try. This is my go to place every time I crave for pho. read more
I saw this restaurant in the same plaza as Smile Market 2 and thought I'd give it a try. There's plenty of parking in this plaza. Walking in, the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. The aesthetics and decorations were well thought out. Even the bathroom felt fancy. Moving onto the food review, I ordered the chicken wings with sweet garlic fish sauce and the #3 pho (lean beef, flank, and brisket). The chicken wings smelled good and had a nice flavor profile as you bite into it. Decently sized drumsticks and wings. More moist than Bon Mua's fish sauce chicken wings but I wish the sweet garlic fish sauce was a little more spread out evenly to each piece. There wasn't enough leftover on the plate to dip the last few drumsticks with barely any sauce but still satisfied with this overall! The pho was definitely a hit. Broth had plenty of flavor and was served at the right temperature. It was not too salty so you can keep drinking it like there's no tomorrow. Noodles were nicely cooked and meats were nice and not super chewy or anything. I got a medium and this was plenty to get me satisfied. It's nice that the menu shows a fixed price according to the size of the pho bowl you get. That means you could get the special #1 with a variety of meat without having to pay extra like at other phot restaurants. Of course, you do get a proportionate amount to the size you get but variety is the key word there. Otherwise, you can focus on getting more your favorite meat piece with the other options. On a side note, I don't have a picture of the taro coconut swirl but that drink was highly addicting. It's nice that they have a boba section to compliment your meal. read more
Came in around 12:30pm and the place was about 80% full and we were seated right away. It's a cute modern restaurant and is for sure appealing to the current Instagram trends. The menu isn't too big which is nice since it shows they really specialize in their pho. Overall the service was good and they had good timing on everything. Drinks: I tried the Lychee Passion tea, green Thai tea swirl, and taro coconut swirl. They are all pretty good! Each drink tastes exactly what you would expect from the name which I appreciate. Pho #1: This was what people would normally consider the special at pho restaurants. The broth wa great because it wasn't too salty so you can keep drinking it. You get a lot of noodles and a good amount of meat/toppings. Honestly a very solid choice amongst all the pho places here in Sacramento. Fried Chicken Wings with Fish Sauce: Damn these wings were perfectly cooked and what made it even better is that there were huge! The batter was light and crispy but I wish there was more sauce since that's where all the flavor is coming from. I would highly recommend coming to try it since the quality was great! read more
I always try to stop by PhoMomma when im in the Rancho area. Their pho broth is the best in Sacramento. And they get in you in and out fast on your lunch break. Service is always good and they keep my water cup filled. I love how the menu is basic and simple instead of having a huge menu they have a small and delicious one. The decoration is hip and trendy. I have tried everything here and i can say not one thing disappointed me. Owners are super nice and they come out and talk to their customers. It can get busy but it's worth the wait. read more

Pho lean was good, and I agree with other reviews that they offer smaller portions than other pho places in Sac (and they are more expensive overall). Also, yellow onions wasn't fresh when it first came out. They tasted a bit stale (tasted off). read more
I have came here twice for the same dish because it's that good. We also had the shrimp eggrolls which were yummy too. The service is always great, all the workers know what they're doing and they seem to help eachother out. I really like the silver bowls they use for their soups. It adds to the vibe of the whole restaurant. I will definitely be back again to try out more entree items ! read more

I was a little hesitant to try Pho Momma just because it had good reviews, but the area isn't known for the best Vietnamese food. I will say I was pleasantly surprised! I got the number 1 pho in small which has lean beef, flank, brisket, fat brisket, tripe, and tendon. I also ordered a iced Vietnamese coffee. This pho was exactly what I needed after a long night before. I really enjoyed the broth. It was seasoned well and didn't leave my throat dry after the meal. The coffee also hit! Great balance between sweet and bold. I will definitely be coming back for their pho and excited to even try their other items. Pho Momma does have strange hours of when they're opened, so I would check to see if they're opened before just coming. read more
I had high hopes for pho momma . They had a perfect yelp rating and they were highly talked about on multiple local foodie groups . It wasn't until we checked them out that made us realize that they were just ok . Our server couldn't answer our questions about the menu and our food took a while to come out ( we ordered one pho and one egg roll appetizer ) . The pho was cold and the noodles were over cooked . The egg rolls were also cold and soggy . I'm really hoping they improve since this location seems to have the worst luck for businesses . The service was quick, but my drink arrived only after we finished eating. The food was decent, though not extraordinary, and fairly good for a Southern Pho restaurant. The place is small and tends to get crowded, but the turnover is fast, especially if you come with 1-2 people. Not sure about the Michelin guide because not much stand out to me. Was excited to check out a new pho spot. Love the interior, cute and chic! Friendly service. Yummy food! The menu has many different spring rolls, appetizers, even lots of boba drinks! We tried the fried shrimp wontons, #2 pho, and beef stew pho. Everything was really good! I'm usually picky about my pho broth but I really enjoyed pho mommas! The beef stew was a little different as it was more brothy and had a kick to it rather than thicker and sweet. Would love to come back and try more :) read more
Came here as a quick lunch stop and the food and service was lovely! Interior was also very cute and clean. I knew the pho would be good as soon as I saw the metal bowls they were being served in. For the table, we got pork spring rolls (5/5) which were delicious. Love how there was a not too fried but still crispy pork egg roll within the fresh spring roll for a packed, flavorful bite. The pho #1 (4.5/5) was super super solid. Noodles were really thin and slippery and chewy, and the broth was very light. They serve the noodles in 4 sizes (XS, S, M,L) and I opted for the small. My only complaint was the beef was a bit tough, but the tendon was delicious! read more
I would have never thought to go into the building. BUT IM GLAD I DID! I saw all the hype on social media and typically these type of overhyped places are such a let down, NOT PHO MOMMA! I am usually a big fan and very loyal to one of the other Pho places in town but ONE visit to Pho Momma was all it took to make me a fan. Ordered the rare steak pho and was pleasantly surprised. We were seated promptly, had our order taken and were eating pretty quick. It is definitely one of the best Pho in Sacramento. The broth was so good, so tasty. The only thing I will say that compared to other places their bowls are on the smaller side comparably so get the LARGE if you're really hungry. The food was yummy here and I would say that this is probably the best pho in their area. I got a medium and they were generous with their noodles. I didn't have to dress up the broth too much which is always a plus in my book. Service was great and we didn't have to wait long for food to arrive. Water cups were being refilled. The general ambiance is pretty homey although if you're planning on coming in with a bigger party, you should probably call ahead of time to see what the wait time is looking like. read more
This is a second time going here for us. The first time it was for 3 people. The second time was with 8 people. Let's go into my review. Parking and visibility: 5/5 there are tons of parking on the side but only 3 in the front. For both times I didn't have any problem finding parking and the visibility of the restaurant is clear and easy to find. Food/drinks: we got pho, spring rolls and eggrolls both time we were there. The first experience food and boba was ok. I'm an avid pho eater bc my family run pho business for a few decades. The broth wasn't my style. The balance of the seasoning wasn't there. It is lacking ginger, onion and have a little bit too much msg (I don't know if they have it in there but my tongue is extremely sensitive and it was a little numb, along with feeling very thirsty afterwards. My broth was warm and not hot. Normally I'll see steam coming on the top of the bowl but it wasn't like that for me. I think it's bc they waited for the other bowls to be ready before serving and this isn't the right way to do serve pho. The meat isn't tender and it was extra chewy and stringy. I like my meat tender and soft. I also got spring rolls. For $12 bucks it was underwhelming. The dipping sauce was salty and didn't have a lot of shrimps. I live in sac and we have better nem nước (pork roll with the crispy thing inside). The pho was $14 for a medium. I also got boba and it was a bit watered down. The tea body wasn't there and it was overpowered by the milk. I like milk tea to have a more quality tea flavor. Customer service: the first time was fine 3/5 rating. It was a quick in and out even though it was during lunch time and there were 3 people. The second time was so bad. We had 8 people the wait time was short and we were seated right away but what I didn't like is that the waitress told me that I ordered a small pho when I know I ordered a medium. I only placed 3 orders on my end and she argued with me. I find that very unprofessional. As a waitress myself, I always repeat my customer orders before leaving just to make sure I got everything. This is basic knowledge and common sense regardless if the restaurant is busy or not. Secondly, even if the customer said small (which I didn't), how hard is it to make a medium and add a little bit more for them. Again, I wasn't getting my food for free. I paid and I tipped well each time bc I understand how Vietnamese restaurant work. Asian places don't get tip well compared to American places so my husband and I always tip 18% when we go out to eat. I'm sad to leave this review bc I like to support my people. It's tough running a business nowadays but attitude and customer service is everything. Pairing with good food is a must have. But for both requirement food + customer service, I was disappointed with both. If I can give a 1 I would. After going there 2 times I don't think it improved. I don't think I'll come back. I'll check out pho bac việt which was a few blocks away next time. I hope the owner can see my review and make some improvement. There's potential read more

After having driven by this place and seeing the sign, my husband and I decided to come by for dinner one night. The place was packed but the service was fast and friendly, once we were seated. The interior is very modern and clean, not your typical pho restaurant. We started with an order of fresh spring rolls and some fried calamari. Both were absolutely delicious. And for our pho, we both ordered a medium of their classic / house special pho. Rich broth, flavorful and packed with noodles. Soooo good! To wash everything down, we opted for some classic milk tea with boba. This may be my new favorite pho spot in Sacramento! read more

This place is a hole in the wall in Sacramento. Whenever you are in Sacramento definitely come check out this pho shop. The place is small but the food taste amazing. The pho is more of an herbal flavor but its taste great. The pork spring rolls were crispy and delicious too! Will definitely come again. read more
Stopped in for a pre-birthday dinner dinner (lol) so my boyfriend and I split a medium #1 pho and 3 pork egg rolls. Let me tell ya, those pork egg rolls are HEFFTYYYYYY! They're definitely worth the cost. You automatically feel the weight of them when you pick them up because they're so jam-packed. The flavor of them was great as well! I would like for the egg rolls to come out with more garnish (lettuce, basil), aside from just mint, because I like adding the fresh crisp bite to complement the fried food. Other than that, they're absolutely amazing. The pho was great as well! The broth has a very deep and rich beef flavor. Whatever oil ratio they have in the broth is working really well. The broth automatically envelopes your stomach in a comforting warmth; you can't stop drinking it! The cuts of beef were also tender and not tough at all. I saw on the menu that they offer butter beef spring rolls. I would love to see butter beef being offered as a larger meal by itself instead of the $10 for 2, but that's just me! If I could give this place 1000 stars I would, Everything was perfect, and not only was it visually stunning but also tasted insanely delicious. The pho ga was so special. I am a huge "chicken soup" fan in general and honestly adore every cultures version but sometimes you find one that just makes you feel like you're wrapped up in cozy blankets on a Rainey day and you just know. This is honestly the best pho I've had in the Sacramento area period. I know I've gone on and on about the pho, but we also got the pork sausage summer rolls and the strawberry coconut cream smoothie which were equally as visually stunning and delicious. Cute little spot we came across on our way home from work in Rancho Cordova area. We thought it was a random location but it did not disappoint. Location is in a shared plaza, but theres plenty of outside parking. Interior is very cute and decorative with style. Looks updated. It's cute! Upon arrival we were greeted and seated quickly. It was a Friday early evening. Waiter was attentive and friendly. Asked if we had questions, which is nice. Good. Some out quickly in a timely manner as well. We love the size options they have for their soups. XS, S, M, & L. We were skeptical of their XS but because we wanted to try their spring rolls we decided to give the XS a try. Let me just say it was the perfect amount. If you're hungry hungry, maybe not the size you want. But there was two of us we shared the rolls and had our own XS pho. The broth was hearty and flavorful. Beef wasn't rough and just the right amount of portion. The spring rolls with the crunchy wrap inside and all the garnish was scrumptious. The dipping sauce was sweet and tasty. We loved it. We ordered fried rice togo for our son, didn't get a photo. Be he said it was very good. Perfect seasoning because the color was perfection to him. Would definitely recommend and come back again or even pick up Togo. read more
First time trying Pho Momma and will definitely be back . There are a lot of pho combinations and I really like the different sizes available. I'm used to either a kid's, regular, or large size options. Pho comes with mint, mung bean sprouts, jalapeño and lemon on the side. The inside of the restaurant is super updated and very clean. Service was very nice, and well timed. It wasn't long of a wait for the soups to come out after ordering. I got a Thai Milk T and a Medium Pho #3. Lean Beef, Flank and Brisket. read more

We were told no to reservations. It's walk-in first come first serve
Is the lemongrass broth vegetarian or pescatarian? Can it be combined with the tofu or shrimp?
We have 3 types of broths: Beef, Chicken, and Vegetarian. If you are vegan, ask for the green menu.
