Man, I tasted loads of MSG as my biochemical reaction is to drink liters of water to flush it out of my system. I was disappointed by the protein portion in my pho for the price point, therefore I was not satisfied end of my meal. The summer rolls as like the pho were catered to non-Asian palates. I had to improvise and use this dish to side dip for my pho since there were no dishettes provided. I got a passion fruit green tea, the summer rolls and the pho with sliced ribeye and beef tripe to-go. Service was quick, which was nice. The passion fruit green tea isn't very sweet and the tea flavor is weak and watered down tasting. The summer rolls were very poorly wrapped and started tearing when I gently pulled the plastic covering away. The soft rice paper could be due to sitting on top of the hot pho for about 15 mins until I got home, so I don't completely blame them for that. However, my biggest disappointment was that the summer rolls were missing the crispy roll inside, which sucks because it's one of my favorite parts. The pho at least is pretty yummy. My wife and I were sick this week and decided to check out a NEW Pho place in Glendora called Pho N Mor. I had the short rib Pho and she had the one with rare flank steak and tendon. The broth was so flavorful. We also had spring rolls and I ordered an iced Vietnamese coffee. It wasn't too sweet like other places I've been to. I could tell that the coffee was freshly dripped and ice was added after. It was quite strong as their known to be. The serving staff was quite young and we had to flag them down at times. This however should improve as they get accustomed to the flow of many customers. The tables were spaced accordingly so that we wouldn't bump into seats when we wanted to get up and walk around the restaurant. The price was a little more the some places that we frequent but the quality of the food and beverage more then make it worth our will to come again.
