I stumbled upon Viet's on a whim during a rough patch at work in the Springs and let me tell you, it became my go-to self-care spot. The #58 (pho tai gau sach) is life-changing, and actually the only pho restaurant I've been to that offers this meat combo. The broth is so rich and flavorful it tastes like it's been simmering since the dawn of time. It's hearty, healing, and everything you need on any day, good or bad. Just a heads-up though, you will not be deceived by a small size. A small bowl of pho here is *huge* and full of noodles, broth, meat and toppings, which they don't skimp on at all. It's like they knew I was having a bad day and were like, "Give this girl all the brisket and tripe she can handle." Only con is that it's far from Denver, but like all great loves, some things are worth the distance. Seafood based broth is tasty mixed well with fish, shrimp, squid, fish balls. Good size of fresh Thai basil & bean sprout for added on. Service is attentive by well trained waiters. Clean utensils & the seasoning tray. The restaurants offered booth & regular seats. Nothing fancy, but clean & bright. Noticed many Vietnamese family enjoy their meal together. We came for the razor clams! Actually, Viet's has a lot more seafood offerings than other Vietnamese/pho restaurants. Not that I was expecting fresh, live clams, but their grilled razor clams on a sizzling plate only looked and smelled great, photogenic, but was lacking the sweet, cooked-just-right seafood flavor. It was over grilled, touch, and chewy, and because they were probably frozen clams, they tasted fishy. At least it was grilled with butter brushed on top and served with scallions and dry onions, so the aroma was out of this world. I came in and I was giving a great deal of knowledgeable explanation and attention by the server. I tried the Japanese pancake with shrimp that is a specialty and only served at this restaurant. I loved the Lacey perfect outer shell and the soft custard egg on the inside. While not particularly savory, the execution was perfect. Best pho I have found in the Springs and I have been several places since my prior review. The broth was flavorful and had a beautiful deep color on this say. The meat is tender and plentiful even in the small. The limes and all the veggies were super fresh (so many places give dried up limes!). The beef spring rolls have a lot of flavor too. read more

We ordered pho combination yesterday at 1:30 and fresh spring roll. The meat in pho is dark pink. Okay we've been eating pho so we know it will be cooked by the hot broth. But when we started sipping the soup its so lukewarm so the meat remained pink but we were hungry so we just ate it. Eating warm pho is not good. No longer our favorite. The server was helpful with recommending what to order and the food came out very quickly. Ended up ordering the Tu Qui Banh Hot (Special Plate Create your own rolls), Com Dec Biet (Special Rice Plate), and Bun Dac Diet (Grilled Shrimp, pork, beef, chicken & egg roll vermicelli Noodle Bowl. The Tu Qui Banh Hot is DIY summer rolls experience, and they bring out all the ingredients such as the noodles, protein options, veggies, the rice paper and the dipping sauce(fish sauce). The server did offer to teach us on how to make the rolls which was very helpful. It ending up being very filling for two people and it was a great experience to share with a friend or your partner. We placed an order for two of their most popular dishes. Within 15 mins from our order being placed, our food was ready. We only had a couple of minute drive to get home, but when we arrived at our house and started eating, the broth was completely cold. I've eaten a lot of pho in my time, and this is the first time I've gotten cold broth from a place. The noodles were decent, but the broth had a funny taste. Additionally the meat that was in it was barely edible. You could tell it was not very good quality, which I understand is part of the Vietnamese cuisine culture (use what you have available). But when I'm paying $40 for two pho meals, I expect a little higher quality. Overall, will not return. read more

On a rainy night, I was craving some Pho and got lucky that this place was close and open! I got the medium-sized raw steak Pho and shared the cheese wontons. The pho was amazing, it tasted so good and was the perfect size to fill me up. The wontons were just the right amount of crunchy and sweet. I've been searching for a good pho spot in Colorado Springs and finally found a good place to visit for it! I was reviewing the ratings on some of the pho places in my area and this spot had a good review so I thought I'd check it out. I came here by myself for dinner on Valentine's Day actually and when I got in I was sat right away. I typically order my usual which is the shrimp spring rolls and the chicken pho bowl. The rolls were super tasty and fresh with my Sriracha sauce that I dip them in. The pho was even more delicious and I really liked the broth flavor because some places you got to it's just not the same. I ate the entire meal that I had because it was just that good! I thought the service was quick and I was served by a couple different servers helping out the entire visit. Thai tea My cousin ordered Spring rolls with grilled shrimp I don't remember all that we ordered but it was all soooo good... My fiancé ordered grilled pork chop ; & chicken over rice . I added some of his grilled meats to my pho.... Sooo now I know Next time when I go out for Pho I will get grilled meats instead of boiled. It just tastes better to me. The Pho was decent, cha gio eggrolls were a little disappointing. My friend ordered a rice combo, which actually looks pretty good. I thought it would be better given it looks like a very traditional no frills Vietnamese restaurant. The staff seem very upset that we had our kids and that they had to clean up some noodles on the floor. We brought eight people so I thought they'd be very happy for the business and we always leave very good tips knowing the small children didn't leave a mess. we will probably try another pho restaurant next time. I want to start this review out with saying the food here is really good! With that said I will never return after multiple service issues, not only with this store but there food service Partners aka you know them... Issue 1, ordered a pickup via food delivery service. You may be asking why I ordered a pickup via a food deliver service rather than go to the restaurant directly. The food delivery service had a 50% off promo that I couldn't resist. Upon arriving they couldn't find my order, they eventually found it but claimed I had not paid, I said I did, and showed them the receipt. After 15 min of discussion, they handed me my food, they quickly followed me to my car so they could be the paparazzi photographing my car and license plate, like seriously my order was 20 bucks... If you don't know how to partake in the app then don't sign up, criticizing customers is embarrassing. Issue 2, we placed another pickup order via the same food delivery service. The original quote was 15 min for pickup time, upon arriving they told us it would be another hour. We Politely declined and asked our order to be canceled. Which they responded there's nothing we can do (see below). I called the delivery service and was able to cancel the order after about 30 min of conversation. Issue 3, ordered delivery from a different food service company, since at this point I felt profiled. Ordered an entrée and an appetizer (The entree was canceled by the store against my knowledge, hmm thought they couldn't cancel). Only the app was delivered, the Entrée was special yes but could have easily been fulfilled using a lower quality meat. No call, no nothing, just a we don't have it...... this is super frustrating when you order an appetizer and entrée for dinner and only receive your app, The delivery service refused to refund me so I made a dispute with the credit card company. These are not the only times I have ordered from this store, I would say it's 50-50 to get what you want. I also want to note the delivery services could be negatively affecting this review, but in the long run I think it's the company's neglect of understanding how the delivery companies work, on top of other internal issues which is the true problem . I honestly think this place has great food with terrible people skills, again I will never be back and I will never promote this place to anyone. I worn caution to anyone that wants to eat here, it's going to be awesome or.... Your going to be extremely angry! Proceed at your own risk. read more

I've tried a few pho places around the Springs and this is my favorite so far! The broth is hearty, not thin like a few places I've tried. At 10am we were the first in the restaurant but were quickly joined by others craving warm soup or noodles and boba. The small portion was more than enough for me. The noodles aren't overdone, the beef is chewy and delicious, and they give a perfect amount of toppings including bean sprouts and basil with condiments to flavor your soup to your liking. I know Phonomenal is a favorite in the Springs but I prefer this place for a down to earth meal with homey flavors. The Vietnamese coffee satisfied my craving and they added boba upon request. My friend tried the spicy noodle soup with black tofu and meat and enjoyed that as well. Staff is friendly as well. This is my new go-to pho place and I'll be back to try other dishes soon! read more
