Saigon Tapioca made me fall in love with Vietnamese food all over again. Despite only getting a few items and no pho I loved everything I had. The beef spring rolls were amazing. It comes with this sweet and savory brown sauce which makes the rice noodles actually have some flavor. The beef is has a nice bbq crisp to it that makes this a worthwhile appetizer. The Saigon Chicken Wings are massive wings with a nice light crispy outside. The sauce on the wings is got a sweetness to it that many will enjoy. The wings are so big you often have the inner part of the chicken wing unseasoned and flavorless due to the size and not having any of the breading or sauce to complement it. The reason I will be coming back is the bahn mi. I had the pork belly bahn mi and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The pork belly was crisp and fatty and the whole sandwich was a delight. Service was good even though there tends to be a lot of customers come dinner time. The tables are fine but they do have that slight stickiness to them. Price wise the entrees are very cheap compared to most restaurants. I will be coming back for another bahn mi and to try some pho. read more

Was really surprised at the poor quality of food after reading all the rave reviews. Served warm water , ice machine was broken. Broth was really flavorless and needed a lot of additives . Chicken was dry without a good flavor and the rice was so overcooked it was a paste. Really disappointed. They also added gratuity for a table with 4 adults and a 2 year old and 9 year old. Husband and I got food delivered from here. People raved about the crab Rangoons on a page I follow and they did not disappoint! They are massive and extremely flavorful. I got rare steak pho, it was good (not my favorite broth) but I love that they include a bowl to pour in since it was to go. They included a good amount of meat for the price as well. The broth was missing salinity to me, but I do like salt so maybe that's more a preference than lack of flavor. My husband for the combo rice noodle plate which included a good amount of meat as well and he really liked it. We will definitely be back. read more

Dropping a star because this has now happened twice - the spicy oxtail with rice suddenly comes with a measly amount of oxtail compared to before. The second and third "pieces" were basically just bones with tiny scraps of meat attached. Pretty disappointing, especially considering how good and consistent the dish was initially. We were in the mood for a good bahn mi and this place had a great rating. We agree. The "combination" bahn mi was delicious and wonderfully stuffed spring roll. We asked for advice on the menu since everything was written in Vietnamese words with little description. We didn't realize we ordered a soup. The waiter ran back to the kitchen to stop the cook. He adjusted the order to a stir fried noodle dish with seafood and vegetables. It was so good. The young girl at the window, with glasses and black hair, was extremely rude and very unprofessional. The staff was aware that the website has an "old menu". The business should honor what the website shows, otherwise update your menu. I will reach out to the manager or the owner of the business soon. I love this place! Will definitely be coming back on my next trip to Colorado Springs. Came here specifically for Pho and it caught me by surprise that they also have the Vietnamese Crepes . The customer service was great, peaceful and clean. Also, the gentlemen that took my order offered me a glass of ice water while I waited for my food. Very kind of him. First time here. Staff were super friendly and service was great. We ordered 2 medium pho and 1 bbq pork spring roll plate. They didnt have the choice I wanted, so server was able to adjust the combination to meatballs and brisket. Pork spring roll plate was huge. The medium pho here was like large in Seattle. We did not finish all the food. We ate like 4 spring rolls and still had enough to roll 4 more to bring back to hotel. We also did not get to finish the pho. Last thing I really liked was that the soup broth was not greasy! I've been to places where there is a whole separate layer of fat/grease but here was crisp and clean. Here visiting and was craving some pho on a cold night and ordered take out. Saw the reviews and thought I would try it out. I got the steak and flank pho and my partner got the steak and brisket pho. I was surprised with the amount of raving reviews and was curious and thinking it would be really good. Unfortunately, the broth was not to my liking. It didn't taste as good as I was hoping. At least the veggies we got with it were fresh. I'm visiting CSprings and normally eat around the Boulder area - this restaurant is easily as good as any of my favorites up north. I got the Combination Vermicelli Bowl (bun dac biet). The thinly sliced chicken, pork, and beef was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The shrimp and egg rolls were also great. Served over lettuce and rice noodles, it was light and filling at the same time. A co-worker and I had a lunch date here a couple of months ago. We had a hard time figuring out what we wanted for lunch because they have so many options! They have a very large drink menu. You can get just about anything you can imagine. I had an read guava fruit tea and my co-worker had an orange strawberry soda. They put them in travel cups and they are decently sized. We started out with chicken spring rolls which came with this great peanut sauce. I could have eaten that by the spoonful! The sweet n sour sauce was also very good. For lunch I had the Noodles with egg rolls and the peanut sauce they give you for the spring rolls. With out the sauce it was pretty bland, but the sauce definitely helped. My friend had shrimp fried rice and really enjoyed it. It was so much food that we each had to get a to-go box. Service was pretty slow, causing us to be late back to work.
