Portions are huge. Food is above average. The place appears clean but there are houseflies everywhere. They have double doors so I don't know why this should be an issue. Friends recommended Pho Palace after an afternoon at Six Flags. I didn't know what to expect inside as I pulled into the parking lot - I ended up pleasantly surprised by the restaurant (it has apparently been remodeled). The food was good. It was equally as good as some other Vietnamese spots in Fort Worth. I don't feel like I need to rush back (since I live in Fort Worth and not Arlington), but I would eat there again if I find myself in Arlington around meal time. I was there with two of my kids and one of their friends - we ordered the following: - Two kids pho. This may have been the best of our orders. The portion was perfect for a kid - lots of broth, plenty of noodles and slices of beef. The broth was rich and flavorful. My kids don't want the pho add-ins, so this was perfect. - Grilled pork and Chinese sausage rice plate - the sausage and the pork were very flavorful. On the plate, there was a pile of steamed rice and some cabbage in addition to the pork and sausage. Not a ton too it, but the meat was flavorful. - Korean short ribs rice plate - similar to the rice plate above, but it was a yellow rice instead of steamed white rice. This rice was more flavorful than the plain steamed rice. The meat fell off the bone. It wasn't as good as a real Korean restaurant, but still quite flavorful. - Combination fried rice - good flavor and plenty of meat. It was fried rice - nothing crazy complicated - but it was good. read more

Vast menu, clean ambiance, fairly nice service, and good pricing makes for a solid Vietnamese establishment. Also, perks of being a UTA student as I'm very nearby to this restaurant whenever the bf has cravings for pho. The only complaint from him for the pho is the size of a large bowl, which is much too small for him. For me, too, to be honest, but I usually don't get pho here. My top soups are bun bo hue, or bun rieu, but the pho broth here is pretty decent! I absolutely love the sua dau nanh (soybean milk) here as they make it in-house. Not too sweet too, just a mild sweetening, and I could drink so much of this stuff. Get it, y'all! Tried the bun thit nuong cha gio (vermicelli noodles + grilled pork + egg roll) and it was dank. I recommend this or just simply the bun thit nuong (without egg roll) and it'll satisfy your soul if you don't feel soupy. Great dish for a mild or hot day as it uses nuoc mam as it's base when you eat it, and has lots of fresh veggies to offset the charred grilled pork richness. Woohoo, Pho Palace!! I'm totally a fan of Pho Pasteur, which many argue is the very best pho in DFW, but I think Pho Palace is right up there with them. Plus, I'd say their atmosphere is a bit more comfortable. I really love the giant light fixture star thing hanging in the glass entryway, lovely. I want it! They've also got some pretty sweet paintings and other artwork hanging up, and the color scheme is soft and cool. We showed up around 8:20 PM on a Sunday night and it was relatively busy, but we were led to a booth right away. Ah, the joys of pho. It's cheap, it's delicious, and it comes out fast. Like... way before your drinks fast. I ordered the small been broth with noodles, no meat. The plate of garnishes they bring out it piled high with a ton of bean sprouts, lime wedges, sliced raw jalapeno, and bunches of basil (how do pho restaurants have so much basil all the time!?). I loaded up my pho with all the goodies (I love the way the jalapeno infuses into the broth... the perfect spiciness). Oh how pho clears your sinuses and makes you feel better, no matter the weather. Pho Palace's version is amazing, I have no complaints! My fountain coke wasn't the best and by the time it came out I really needed a drink, but the pho was good enough to outshine any minor flaws in our evening. Despite the name of the restaurant, I come for dishes other than the pho. One of my favorites is the banh canh tom gio heo (thick noodle soup w/ pork hocks & shrimp). The broth is always dead on with depths of flavor, just how my mama makes it. It also comes with just the right amount of protein and noodles to satisfy my need for a little bit of home. Their bun bo hue is a favorite of my daddy's when we come here as a family. Again, another legit dish you can get here. The broth is pretty darn good. Unfortunately I've had it where the noodles were wayyyy over-cooked so that docks some points. The bun rieu has been a hit or miss or too. At times it's delish but at my last visit, the broth was so thick. The consistency was certainly off. Very popular for the Sunday lunch crowd after morning mass so you know this is a favorite among the Vietnamese community. There's ample seating and they're pretty ahead of the technology game as they take your order via mini ipad. Not to mention the restaurant is pretty clean so it's no dirty hole in the wall. Service is friendly and quick. You're definitely in and out. Arlington used to be the mecca of delicious Vietnamese food but they're becoming few to none. This is a go to when I am in the area. My second favorite noodle soup behind pho would absolutely be Hu Tieu. Like pho the broth has to be on point and Pho Palace has just that. Hu Tieu is a pork base broth which makes it different from pho. The broth is a little clearer but still very flavorful. I like the seafood Hu Tieu. It's a more subtle but rich taste. Um, yeah!! Big bad bowl o' Pho!! We came here on a cold afternoon looking for warmth in the form of a brothy noodle bath for our insides and were not disappointed. The first server who came to our table was very polite but unable to answer my questions due to a language barrier. So *younger dude* called out to rescue us, made funnier by the fact I was asking the server if they had Tom Kha "no sir we don't serve Tom Kha, that's Thai." Translated: "you're in a Vietnamese restaurant, dumb ass". Seating was at a long picnic table, though smaller tables were also available. The restaurant was not so busy that we were elbows into anyone. I went with a Pho choice I can't pronounce, but it had all the meats in it: steak, meatballs, chicken, tripe, and shrimp. The broth was clear and savory. I went with a large, which was more than I could finish for $7.50. My companion ordered a wheat grass beef dish over rice with a fish sauce and tofu wraps. The food was all delicious. She also tried a Thai Tea with boba, which was milky, sweet, and flavored with something we couldn't determine, but yummy. When in Arlington, a good place to try some pho. Once you walk in, you'll notice, it's modern, and pretty clean. There was plenty of seats available for when it gets busy. Today in the afternoon, it wasn't crowded; maybe 4 other groups. The menu has a good amount of choices. My server was pleasant, brought water, and took my order in a timely manner. I ordered the spicy beef stew with egg noodles. I didn't have to wait long before my meal arrived. The serving size was just right for one person with the regular portion. The soup base was good, as were the egg noodles. I was excited to try this Vietnamese style of beef stew, as it's one of my favorite simple dishes in general. There were some decent sized carrots, and beef to meet the "beef stew" requirement. Unfortunately the meat while tender was about 50% fat and cartilage. The beef part of meat tasted pretty good, but searching for it in the fat was less than enjoyable. This place is priced right, clean, and worth another try. Maybe if I hadn't gone out on a limb and ordered something new, I would be happier.. Next time I'll stick to the tried and true Pho. read more

I came here with my dad today for some pho. The food is good, but in my opinion very pricy! We had 2 pho's and a spring roll app with 2 soft drinks and it some how came out to 45 dollars! The spring rolls however are amazingly fresh and worth it! All in all the pho is ok, no different than a lot of other places. For the price I would expect a bit better ambiance. The restaurant itself is a little bit run down looking. Water marks on the ceiling. Several different light fixtures throughout the building, to which the placement doesn't make a lot of sense. For example, there is a large tv in the back of the restaurant where instead of having a light fixture on either side of it one is on the side and the other is isn't all the way to the other side and is kind of obstructing the view of the television. It is also kind of just "randomly" decorated I would say, with no particular theme. Usually I would not even comment on stuff like this, but for 45 dollars I think that makes the difference. Also, It's hard to leave the parking lot due to how it's set up. Very heavy traffic and impossible to do a left turn. All in all, I saw them do a lot of to go while I was there and due to these reasons, I think delivery/to go is probably the best option. If you are in the area I would try it, just be aware of the prices and don't try to make a left lol read more

Truly delicious Vietnamese food in Arlington. Pho Palace offers a variety of pho soup choices (with or without meat) and tons of entree and appetizer choices. Both adults and kids love the shrimp spring rolls with the tasty peanut sauce. Kids pho is a big bowl with meat noodles and the BEST most flavorful broth. I ordered the meatball pho and it came with all the sides you know and love: bean sprouts, fresh basil, fresh jalapeños, limes and the hoisin and sriracha sauce. You can sit and relax with the efficient table service and the price is affordable for a family. Today I came into Pho Palace to enjoy dinner. This is establishment was very clean and organized. One of the reasons I stopped by is because it had very good reviews online. I ordered my favorite food and with extra noodles, which came with the soup and not just dry noodles. The trademark sandwiches were excellent and the very delicious. This is the type of place that I enjoy the most with simple and excellent food choices. This community definitely respects this place, because the crowd was very familiar with the restaurant. I want porridge with duck salad..they have it..I want Banh Mi Bo Kho..they have it..I want Mi Thap Cam...deeeelicious..Their bean sprouts/jalapeno/ lime and basil are always fresh..not brown and weathered like a lot of other places. I cam here this morning with my boyfriend after church. We got a table and there was a guy with grey shirt came and took our order, he was so RUDE by the way he spoke, and I wasn't happy at that point already but it's okay i told myself. He took our order and food came a bit late, it's okay we can wait. I LOVE this place. I come here at least once a week. It was the first place I went when restaurants reopened(covid). They have an extensive and delicious vegetarian menu. I love the Lemongrass Tofu vermicelli bowl, and they're even happy to sub the noodles with lettuce and beansprouts when I'm trying to have less carbs. I have been to many pho restaurants and this one is by far my favorite. I love their Pho Ga which is their chicken noodle soup. You can request white meat only, if you're not fond of dark meat. Their Banh Mi are pretty great too. I really enjoy their Basil Beef Stir fry. It's fairly spicy and the portions are huge. I recommend the Goi Ga and Goi Cuon Thit Nuong for appetizers. The Goi Ga is basically an asian cole slaw with chicken. It isn't mayo based but is dressed with a ginger vinegarette. The Goi Cuon Thit Nuong is essentially a spring roll made with viet style bbq'd pork. Super tasty. It's a clean, nice joint compared to most asian restaurants. Not too expensive and pretty fast service. Oh, the menu is in both Vietnamese and English so there isn't a language barrier. When in doubt, order by the number :) that's what most of my friends do. Do order the desserts. Just pick any of them. They are all generally cold and comes with shaved ice and coconut. They vary in toppings which range from sweet mung bean to tapioca shreds. In a nutshell, this place is a must if you want authentic Viet food in Arlington . Oh and the last time i checked, it's BYOB :D read more

I have been to plenty of pho places in the DFW area and this is pretty much average. You can find better in at Pho Empire in Irving and Bistro B in Dallas. I went for the number 10. Which is the classic Beef noodle soup. I prefer my broth to have a stronger beef stock taste. The noodles were also good. The beef itself was good. I have had better beef. The shrimp spring rolls were pretty tasty. With the rice wrap not too thick. They do have a very good green tea. I'll go back to check it out again sometime soon. This is my go to place for pho! I find the pho much better than Pho 95 and Pho Pasteur. Service here is so much better as well compared to them as well. Wow! I was visiting Arlington and determined to find an authentic pho place. Thanks fellow Yelpers for writing such good reviews. I had to get it for takeout but would not hesitate in coming back to Pho Palace. Disregard the strip mall it is in, it is definitely worth the adventure. My friend and I walked in for lunch. After a second of stares, the regulars went back to their meal. We were the only non-Viet in the place and I knew we were in for a special treat. Hurray! They had an extensive menu and daily specials written on the board as well. We decided to split the grilled pork banh mi and grilled pork spring rolls. We got a grilled pork & shrimp vermicelli bowl for our other friend stuck at the office. My friend got a chicken white meat pho and I got a small cup of beef broth with vermicelli noodles. As soon as we got back to the office, we divied up the goods! The spring roll was good but it had a pork sausage, not the grilled pork. It didn't matter, the roll was gone in minutes. I wasn't quite sure what the sauce was but I dipped every bite into it anyway. Very tasty. The banh mi was really good, even without my typical dash of hoisin sauce. I think the bread got a little moist on the drive back to the office but the grilled pork was just as delicious as I'd hoped. Pack in cilantro, cucumber, jalapenos & carrots and I felt good about the sandwich choice! Now to the soups, which were steaming hot and included a plastic bag for each of us filled with bean sprouts, onion, cilantro, basil & jalapenos. We could have shared a bag. The chicken broth my friend said was very flavorful. My beef broth was also really good. Green onion, cilantro and thinly slice red onion with the light noodles complimented the broth. My go-to pho restaurant When it comes to pho restaurants in Arlington you have quite a selection. I discovered Pho Palace in 2011 and haven't been anywhere else since. My typical order consists of an avocado smoothie (no boba), grilled pork loaf rolls, and either bo kho with french bread or #29 (Pho Dac Biet Palace). -Smoothie is well blended with fresh avocado and not overly sweet. -Pork loaf tastes fresh and the crab dip is downright addicting (I swear they put crack in it). -Bo Kho is one of the best I've had (plenty of flavor and lots of meat). -Pho is always on point (consistent flavor and never watered down). For the record they have a new location in Mansfield but I feel that the food (as of Oct 2016) was still a bit inconsistent compared to the original location. read more

I wish I could have given this place negative stars. The food was absolutely terrible. I have never tasted anything like it. Not sure how and why it got good reviews. I ordered grilled pork spring rolls and the meat didn't look like real meat...it was a mystery. Then they added nuts to the inside of the roll. Who does that??? My daughter has a peanut allergy and had a reaction. We also ordered the fried egg rolls. The filling tasted like rotten meat and looked like turkey meatloaf. The last disappointment came from my soup. There was so much fat pieces that it was inedible. The last straw was biting into a piece of liver. On the next cold and rainy day, do yourself a favor and drive to this establishment, go inside, and order a big steaming bowl of pho. I ordered the brisket and eye of round pho. What you'll get is a fresh bowl of pho filled with noodles and the meat of your choice. Plus, you'll get a plate with all the extras: basil leaves, bean sprouts, and jalapeno slices. Add you choice of condiments and veggies to your pho and enjoy. Within minutes, a warmth will spread through your body and you will be in your happy place. They also have other traditional Vietnamese dishes, but I only order the pho, so I can't really review the other foods. We have had spring rolls and egg rolls here.
