The pho is great, but the other dishes should not be over looked. The vegetable spring rolls were amazing too. The only dish that wasn't amazing was the vegan pho. I get it can be tricky to make things vegan, but there just wasn't any flavor and the tofu was like a brick. This place can get very busy even on a weekday. I would say this place is just ok. The food is definitely not authentic Vietnamese. They have Japanese fish cakes in their mi kho egg noodle. The chicken was extremely dry. The soup that is served along with the mi kho egg noodle tasted like chicken bouillon or chicken noodle soup broth with cilantro. The bun bo hue wasn't even spicy. Spring rolls tasted like it wasn't made to order and it was sitting there for a while. The rice paper tasted like it was dipped in water a while ago. This place is clean and the people who bring the food out are very polite and nice. However the cashier is a different story. For someone who talks to all the customers, she's definitely rude. Pho has been a part of my diet all of my life. I can say that this place tops all of the pho places I've tried in Austin (and reviewed in the past on Yelp). The broth is perfect - not greasy at all. I do like the fact they chop the meat up rightfully so unlike other pho places that has chunks of meat in there that you have to take out. They have a variety of options for you to choose from aside from pho. I was close to getting a bahn mi but opt out. I would only come here to grab a bowl of pho and so should you! read more

This place was sooo delicious! I got a takeout of chicken broth chicken pho and some vegetarian egg rolls! It was Sunday night and take out took about 15 minutes. Everything was packed great! You just need to pour broth into the bowl of chicken and noodles and add some toppings and voila. I would recommend letting the toppings sit for a few minutes in the broth so that you would get more flavor! I also added some spice sauce that they provided with the pho for a little kick. My favorite drink of all times is Thai tea so yeah #thaiteagang, but yeah the Thai tea here was really watery and tasted what I make at home without using sugar. My husband picked this up to-go, so I can't comment on the service, but I can comment on the quickness of the order, the packaging, and the taste. I am always skeptical about ordering to-go from restaurants, because of course you want to serve the people actually in the dining room first. This place was gooooood. I ordered the seafood pho along with some of the grilled shrimp wraps. The wraps were a pretty good size and the peanut sauce was great. I was surprised with the sauce as it wasn't all too nutty (yeah.. that didn't sound right). I liked the pho a lot. My go to spot in Austin for pho ever since it opened 1-2 years ago. A review has been long coming. I don't think I go to any Austin restaurant more than Pho Please. To start of with, I'm not crazy about rice noodles so it makes me perfectly happy that they let me change to egg noodles which makes pho all the better for me. Noodles are great, tastes just as good as the packaged ones you buy at the grocery store. Not that I'm going to assume they hand make theirs. Soup is excellent. Not too salty, but rich in flavor. This goes for both the beef and the chicken broth. Portions are great whether it's the pho, the rice plates and the banh MI, tried it all. Will definitely fill you up. Some plates complete both my lunch and dinner. What's my favorite dish? The pork belly grill rice plate. That tender fatty pork just oozes flavor in my mouth. The egg is usually overcooked but they've gotten a lot better this year, in the past it was all hard but now at least there's some yolkiness to it which I like mixing with the rice. Don't want rice? Get in in the banh MI. I personally like wontons so I get the wonton works a lot. Nicely sized, not too much skin and not too much meat. The only downside is the chicken breast meat that comes with it is kind of dry, though I know some people like it as it's healthier. I wouldn't say they are a must order, but still enjoyed having them on the side and were nice to add to the vermicelli bowl we ordered. Beef Banh Mi - The beef was extremely flavorful, tender, and not at all fatty. Also, this sandwich is HUGE! Honestly it was 2 for the price of 1. I'm debating whether it was a foot long. I cut it in half and put the rest in the fridge for lunch the next day. Such a deal! Chicken Vermicelli Bowl - Hubby ordered this and said it was great. It was also huge. So big that he ended up eating it out of a mixing bowl haha. It seemed to have a really good ratio of all of the ingredients and it comes with a fried egg, which is a bonus. I was in the area and on suggestion from folks who know good food, we tried this place for lunch on a Friday. I am doing the low carb thang, and so the pork belly grill with a salad was perfect. For $10.50 I got a TON of piggy. It was extra crispy and came about as close to melting in my mouth as meat can come. The portion of the pork belly (with a fried egg on top which I will ask to be a little less cooked next time) and the salad was enormous. I took a pic after I ate all the yummy pork on top, just tons of fresh salad (no bagged stuff here) with sprouts, carrots, cucumbers and scallions. This is pretty decent pho considering it is Texas. The restaurant is clean and very modern-looking. I found it strange that they arranged the restaurant like what you would find in a chipotle - you wait in line to pay first and then you get your food. I guess it's more efficient, but it definitely cheapens the restaurant experience. As for the food, the pho is pretty standard and the beef broth is acceptable. It's definitely not what you'll find in Westminster, CA but it still good nonetheless. Their boba teas were delicious but the tea flavor could definitely be stronger. After seeing all the great reviews of Pho Please on Yelp, we decided to make the trip to south Austin to try it out. Pho Please offered up a great selection of Pho in a clean and modern atmosphere. It is definitely an Austin-chic take on pho. The food selection and quality were very good. The several bowls of pho I've had over the past few weeks have all been consistently good with a great unique flavor. The Banh-Mi was out of this world - one of the best in Austin. The service was quick and attentive with an added detail that rarely happens at most pho places - a manager actually came by our table and asked how everything was. She seemed genuinely open to knowing how our dining experience was. I can say this has rarely, if ever, happened to me at any pho establishment I've visited. Most Pho places have a laissez-faire attitude when it comes to table touching but Pho Please was on top of it! The final cherry on top, which pushed this review to five stars was their amazing Green Tea Thai Iced Tea. We will make the 20-30min drive to Pho Please just for that drink! read more

Vegan pho paradise! The vegetable pho is phenomenal and we get it every time we come back to Austin. The servings are fair and they have a self-serve pho condiment bar so I can get the massive amount of jalapeños and red onions my heart desires I asked about other menu items being vegan and the extremely nice women behind the counter informed me that the vegetarian labels in fact mean vegan. We both had veggie pho and tofu rice-paper rolls (the peanut sauce is vegan, too!), by boyfriend got a Thai tea sans cream, and all of it was fantastic.
