I love pho, and Pho With Us in Southpark Meadows has quickly become my go-to spot in South Austin. The service is quick and friendly, we are always seated immediately, and they keep it chilly inside for maximum pho enjoyment even through Texas summer! What more could you ask for? Pho With Us' food is awesome. My current pho fav is their Pho Ha Noi, which comes with chopped rare ribeye, brisket, a tea egg, and -- my favorite part -- a fluffy, crunchy bread stick for dipping in the pho. Despite being a popular Ha Noi specialty, I have yet to find another pho place in S. Austin that serves this dish, and probably will stop looking since I love Pho With Us' version so much. On our last visit, my friend and I split the soft spring roll with chicken to start, which came with a delightful savory peanut dipping sauce. Sooo good. My friend tried the orange chicken, and loved that too. Thankful for this solid pho spot in Southpark Meadows.

Visited Austin and searched for a Vietnamese food place. We were happy to find this place. The service was friendly. The food came out quick. Seems like a pretty popular place. Nice mural on the wall. The soft spring roll was tasty with the peanut sauce for dipping. My husband liked his beef and shrimp bowl and fried Vietnamese egg rolls. I was surprised to have my curry tofu come out on a plate instead of a bowl, but the taste was there and the portion was right for lunch. More rice than I could eat though. They have plum wine which was a big plus. Not all restaurants have it available. I would definitely come back a second time. Super friendly and chill vibe.

i was convinced there was no good pho in austin.... but THIS IS THE BEST PHO IN THE ENTIRE CITY! pho with us is in south austin, with plenty of tables and a good vibe. service is great and we loved the food. everything was so flavorful and i highly recommend the pho with us pho. the meat was so tender it fell right off the bone, complete with a side of chili oil.

Bao buns were soft and delicious!! The calamari was crunchy on the outside and slightly chewy but tender on the inside. Lobster Pho was great... You know what would have made it better? More lobster chunks from salt and pepper lobster...which is no longer being served. Apparently, lobster goes bad when no one orders it. Solution: Make it a special. Order Lobster Pho with salt and pepper lobster and get $2-$5 off salt and pepper lobster. Yes you lose from the salt and pepper lobster but you're up-selling the premium Lobster Pho instead of people just getting regular pho. I highly doubt those lobsters would still be rotting in storage after that. Hopefully, the bring it back. Sincerely, Lobster fanatic.

Got grilled pork banh mi for myself and meat lovers pho (for my husband) via Uber Eats. didn't get to take a pic but TRUST ME, this grilled pork banh mi was the best banh mi I've ever had. It is not the cheapest but the flavors and the sauce are top-notch. Just melts in my mouth. My husband doesn't normally love banh mi but he had a bite and was waiting for my leftovers hahaha! So, so good. Not exaggerating. Thank me later!! I believe there is a 30% discount going on through the app too.

Finally made the commute to check this place out on Easter Sunday. Even though it's way the heck down in south Austin, at least it's located inside a plaza so there was plenty of parking. We were seated right away but the service was actually quite slow. I think it took about 15-20 minutes for our pho to come out which is quite unusual for a pho place. I got the big Paul pho and my friend got the pho with us. The pho was amazing, no doubt about that. All the meat from the beef ribs to the brisket was cooked to perfection and the broth was so flavorful. We also got the Vietnamese spring rolls to share which is also delicious. The prices reasonable and the food is well portioned. We both ordered a separate dish to go since it was a quite a drive down here. If it weren't for the unusually slow service, I would give this place 5 stars.

Delicious, and I can't wait to come back and try more things! I went here with my brother and immediately after eating told my husband we have to check it out together lol! I'm not exactly a pho connoisseur, but my brother got the house pho and we both agreed it was delicious! I am under the impression that a traditional pho broth is fairly lightly flavored, which was not the case here, but I thought it was very tasty. I got the absolute vermicelli and it was fantastic! I really enjoyed the Vietnamese eggroll, and when I had finished the egg roll, I put some of the dipping sauce over the noodles too. We also got the spicy garlic edamame (which may have been the favorite thing I ate) and I scraped some of the extra chili garlic into my noodles too, which was the chefs kiss XD seriously, I know I want to go back and try more things, but I think I'll have to get the spicy garlic edamame every time. We tried a couple of cocktails, which were pretty good, the espresso martini and the lychee martini. We arrived a little after seven and we were immediately sat at the bar, the restaurant was bustling, but there was definitely still open tables. The bartender service was friendly and prompt and the food came out quickly! Can't wait to come back and try more items!

I was in the mood for pho and found this place on Google. We arrived around 7 PM on a Friday and had a 15 minute wait. There were tables open but they were slow to bus them. Once we were seated, the service was good and friendly. The waitress suggested the pho Ha Noi and the French dip bahn mi. The pho was a ton of food for the price and was really good. The sandwich delivered as well. This is the best pho spot I've found in South Austin so far.

Authentic Viet food. They definitely came up with many Americanized dishes to match the local tastes, but they also nail the traditional dishes.

Pho with Us never disappoints! We started with the salt and pepper calamari and I highly recommend it. The calamari was perfectly crispy and tossed with caramelized onions, scallions, and cabbage. The flavors were bold and balanced, and the lemon dipping sauce paired great. For the main dish I had the Pho Meat Lovers and the broth was outstanding. To me, pho is all about the broth, and they simmer the broth for 24 hours which makes it incredibly aromatic and flavorful. The ingredients were fresh and everything came together so well. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the place is very clean, and they always make sure we have everything we need. Plenty of parking too! Pho with Us is consistently excellent and has definitely become my go-to spot.

I loved all the food that we got! The broth was very rich and savory. However, I will say that the service was slow and not the greatest.

Delicious fresh food, large servings at a reasonable price. Very nice staff. We had pho with brisket, and a pork vermicelli dish called Absolute. Both were seriously good. We will definitely be back

After landing in San Antonio yesterday to kick off my summer vacation, the very first thing I did…read moretoday was ask my friend to bring me back to this restaurant. The reason is simple: we ate here two years ago, and it left such a great impression on us that we had been looking forward to coming back ever since. Fortunately, not much has changed in terms of either the quality or the overall presentation of the food. Everything is still delicious, especially the Pho Combo. To be honest, it's far better than most of the pho we've had in Germany. That doesn't mean the pho in Germany is bad--it simply means this place matches my personal taste much better. As for the downsides, they're almost exactly the same as before. Parking is still a major challenge, and I understand that's probably not something the restaurant can easily fix. We also tried calling ahead to reserve a table, but they don't take reservations, whether you're coming with a group of 5-7 people or just 2-3 people. We arrived at 6:45 PM and still had to wait about 40 minutes before being seated, which was honestly quite inconvenient. Coincidentally, there was live music tonight, which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the sound system wasn't very good, so it was difficult to hear what the singers were performing. Then again, this isn't really the type of venue where people come specifically to enjoy live music, so most diners didn't seem to pay much attention to it. One thing I did notice was that either the kitchen has made a few changes over the past two years, or perhaps my own taste has changed a little. The food felt slightly saltier than I remembered, and the pho broth was richer and creamier. While that added some depth of flavor, it was a bit too rich for my liking, to the point where finishing the entire bowl of broth felt a little overwhelming. The braised short ribs were incredibly tender--so tender that a knife was almost unnecessary, and they could easily be pulled apart with just a fork. While many people would probably see that as a positive, I actually missed the slightly firmer, meatier texture I remembered from my last visit. That said, these are relatively minor issues. The quality may have dipped just a little compared to our previous visit, but this is still an excellent restaurant. If they can fine-tune those small details, it would easily return to being one of my favorite places. There's a good chance we'll stop by one more time before heading back to Germany.

Is it that time of year for another 1618 update? Absolutely…read more After my umpteenth visit, I think it's safe to say I've worked my way through almost the entire menu (minus a few noodle, chicken & vegetarian dishes). My 2025 review still stands, but after so many visits, I've noticed a few items haven't been good as they used to, particularly the chicken wings (and yes, all three of them). The Garlic Wings haven't been hitting quite the same. They've started to taste a little dry, and the saucier wings taste better the next day since they don't have time to steep through once served. The Filet Mignon Pepper Steak is still my favorite dish on the menu, but I still can't justify ordering it family-style anymore. It's delicious, but the portion just doesn't match the price. One of the newest additions--the Truffle Fried Rice is spectacular. It's light, not overpowering with truffle, and the fish eggs really adds the perfect little pop of texture/flavor. I don't think I breathed the entire time I scarfed it down!! 1618 is still one of my favorite restaurants in Austin of all time, but I think it's time for the menu to elevate a bit and dive deeper into less mainstream Asian cuisine. If anyone can do it, 1618 can.

The…read moreThai basil leaves were absolutely ginormous, and they gave us plenty of them alongside very fresh limes, which I appreciated. The bowl itself came loaded with meat--they definitely weren't skimping to save money here. The meat-to-noodle ratio felt great, and every bite actually had substance instead of leaving me fishing around for toppings. As for the broth, I landed somewhere in the middle. It wasn't quite as clear or light as I personally prefer, leaning toward a fattier, milkier undertone that almost reminded me of a Vietnamese pho take on tonkotsu. The flavor itself was undeniably very good, but the richness may have been a bit too much for me personally. One way I usually judge how much I love a pho broth is whether I want to sip the bowl down to the very end, and this one wasn't quite light enough for me to want to do that. I've had richer and deeper pho flavors elsewhere, but I still appreciated the flavor profile here and could absolutely see why this place is so popular. It feels hearty, comforting, and satisfying in a way that clearly resonates with many people. Despite how packed the restaurant was, the atmosphere ended up being surprisingly pleasant. Service moved very quickly, which honestly impressed me given how busy everything felt. Even with the crowd, I didn't dislike the spacing or setup at all--the restaurant still felt comfortable, and the sound of people enjoying their food all around added to the lively, welcoming energy rather than making it feel overwhelming. Overall, Pho Phong Lưu ended up being one of those places where I completely understood the hype, even if it didn't become my personal favorite pho spot. While the broth leaned richer than my preference, I still enjoyed the experience and definitely look forward to trying other dishes next time.

And honestly it's better than any fancy restaurant out there. I love the amount of plants in the space and the TV plays cooking videos and it's so nice to watch while waiting for your food! Speaking of waiting for your food, the food comes out super quick! Within 1 minute of ordering my drink, it came out! And a couple minutes after follows the food. The service is amazing as well, the servers are super sweet and are very quick to serve you and get what you need. The menu offers a bunch of things, appetizers, main dishes, desserts, and the drinks! I love how the desserts and drinks are also Vietnamese (most of the time I notice restaurants tend to have the basic selection of fountain drinks and desserts, but this restaurant has a wide variety of drinks and desserts so you can try something new every time you come here!) Most of all, there's a bunch of vegan dishes which I absolutely love. The food is always delicious I've been trying the vegan dishes recently and I love them a lot (as someone who doesn't like vegan dishes normally)! The chicken pho is also so delicious it tastes better than I make it at home! So much flavor. The drinks are so good as well. They also give you a big portion and I normally have leftovers, but the portion size is amazing for the price that you pay. It's definitely more affordable and such a bang for your buck.
