I should've gone with my gut instinct and gone to my regular pho spot. I ordered the Curry chicken rice noodle soup and shrimp spring rolls. The soup decent, good spice but bland flavor the chicken in the soup was also very rubbery like it was undercooked, the rolls were not good, very tough and hard to bite through, the peanut sauce didn't taste like it was home made. This place is definitely recommended if you like to try great Asian food that's made fresh. They customize any order for you if you have dietary needs. I have had their fried rice and curries with a couple of starters. Portion sizes are good. I recommend the curried vegetables with rice. Also the spring rolls are a must-have. read more

This place is pretty good, it's really close to the office and my team loves it, they aren't the fastest to go in the world but the quality is solid. Just got back from here and had to say was very disappointed with the service and food. After being seated promptly, I was asked what I would like to order about 4 times in a 2 minute time span. I hadn't even touched the menu, let alone look at it. The waitress was not friendly either as she basically said get me when you're ready.... The food is decent as it is simple Viet food. This place is pretty normal. Nothing that really stands out. The food is good at a good price. The ice coffee is really good...but the drip coffee is always good everywhere. Wouldn't highly recommend but would go there again...for my pho fix. read more

Not authentic tasting. The pho broth (on 2 occassions and rated by 2 different people) was bland, really greasy, and basically didn't taste like real pho should taste. The meat in the pho was way overcooked. Spring rolls were filled with the cheap part of the lettuce (the white stalk part) and small bits of meat. Husband did like the rice dish he got (grilled meats with rice). The kitchen door opened a little and when we glanced in, some of the cooks were hispanic? I hope they were just helping stir a pot. Don't have any problems with hispanics, but Vietnamese food can't taste authentic unless a Vietnamese person is cooking it. That goes for any ethnic food. Just saying. Service was poor the first visit. The girls basically stared into space the whole time while we called out to them and waved our hands to get their attention (it wasn't even busy...maybe 2 tables of people). We eventually had to get up and tell them our order. Service was fine the second visit but it was not very clean. Chairs that the waitress directed us to were all sticky (the place was empty so she could have at least attempted to direct us to a really clean table) and had food particles on them; utensils were sticky also. If they had authentic food I wouldn't mind the lack in service/cleanliness, because come on now, you know if you want real authentic Asian food, it's usually from places with awesome food but crappy service and questionable cleanliness. If you don't mind Americanized Vietnamese food then I would say 4 stars. If you are looking for some real pho though, I would not come here. read more

They are very clean - both restaurant and food wise. The food is fresh, which is a 5 for me! Most pho places use very old, nearly rotten meat. I give it a 3 for portion size though but I guess that's what happens when you have fresh food. The cost has to be given up somewhere! Service was friendly and staff was not loud. We been in location Independence and 15th street 12/29/2015 between 6 -7 pm. We waited for 15 min , before anyone approached to take an order. Waitress was very rood, talked badly, was really incompetent of what we want - it took her 10 min to get order, she was wearing outside hat and jacket. Soup was Barely warm, bread was cold ( like from freezer) and little bit warm on bottom. When we told that to another waitress - she was very upset with us and try to touch plate - took back - in 5 min brought same temperature. Barely warm. When was asked again to warm up - - made a very upset face and finally brought soup hot. By that time _ i had more noodles than a soup( almost no broth). They forgot my daughters rice. Brought when she already ate her broth. And on top they laughed and talked on they language , when we came to pay! We came to that place before, but never had service like that. Last time we been here. And I will tell everyone about that place!# worst place to eat#worst service. read more
