I had questions since this was my first time ordering from this place, the guy kept interrupting me and asking if I had anymore questions. He was huffing and puffing sounded very annoyed. Since my husband was ordering from Caribbean Kitchen TX which is in the same plaza he didn't want to go anywhere else. I was about to cancel the order and my husband said let's still try the food..... Welp turns out we waisted money and time! Coming from California and having Vietnamese relatives Pho Real wasn't even subpar! I ordered a large round eye and as the picture shows the noodles and beef was the portion of a small. The broth was tasteless so much so that my kids left the full bowl at the table. The crispy egg rolls were tasteless especially the dipping sauce which tasted watered down. I will not be a repeat customer. The lack of customer service and quality of food was enough for me! hmm, more like a 2.5 out of 5 stars. Been here twice, the first time was strictly for take out and the second for dine in. The first time i ordered Pho to go. The broth itself didn't really taste authentic. Having moved from orange county, ca where the largest Vietnamese population resides outside of Vietnam, i have had my fair share of Vietnamese food. this broth felt like it was watered down and the flavors were not all there. Second time, we ordered a Bún bò Huế and a grilled pork banh mi and some spring rolls. Again, the Bún bò Huế didn't taste like the ones i've been accustomed to back in orange county. Similar to the pho, it was definitely watered down and was lacking the usual flavors. As for the banh mi, the pork was slightly different than the ones back in california, but the sandwich was still good. Additionally, I used my credit card, and not sure if they added on the additional "non-cash charge" onto my bill. But I hate getting additional charges on my bill without any warning. Didn't really bring it up, since i don't think i'll come back to this location. read more

Do not order takeout here they will take forever to get one bowl of soup together after 30 minutes. They will have forgotten that you're there and then act like nothing is wrong. No apologies. No excuses. Nothing just a cold bowl of soup that wasn't even good even if it was hot .Will not return here again. zero out of 10. My family & I were on our way home but we decided to stop by & try some yummy pho! When we first got in, the customer service was quite nice! They waited patiently & got what we wanted, everything was good! I got the all combination pho, & it took a while but it wasn't too bad. When we did get it though, I personally felt like the spices were lacking just a bit but overall it wasn't too bad. Sheltering in place tastes great when you order from here, Pho Real The family was so excited when we saw the new restaurant pop up. We love Pho! But the restaurant has much more to offer. They also have a plethora of rice and noodle dishes. The family visited shortly after they opened, right before the shelter in place order. We of course had Pho. I was impressed with the amount of meat in my pho. They do not skimp and the broth is delicious. The service was excellent. The owners were friendly and made it a point to come over and say hi and ask how we were doing. We recently placed a pick up order since we're currently sheltering in place and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely return regularly. read more

I'm so sad to see so many recent negative reviews for this spot because the food is truly delicious and the menu options are so unique and fun to explore! 7 months ago (Sept 2021) Hubby and I happened to be in the neighborhood and popped in for dinner on a whim. As others have mentioned service is extremely slow. When we were there the restaurant was half full and there were a bunch of to-go/pick-up orders happening the entire time we were there (about 7pm). There were only 1 or 2 servers working out at the front of the house and they seemed a little frazzled but also didn't seem to really care all that much. I got something completely different from what I ordered... but what they DID bring me was something I was debating really hard on and ended up being so delicious that I couldn't even be mad! Due to all the issues I really should give them a 3.... but dang, their menu and flavorful and great quality food was just too good so I have to give them an extra star for that. read more

This is place is just not worth it. It's over priced and the serving sizes are TINY! My husband had a full seafood soup $13, and my son had a small chicken pho, 1-2 the size $12. Alright as we were driving around looking for something to eat and undecided I said ok let's eat Pho and my sister and cousin say ok let's try it! So we end up driving a little further than we wanted but was so worth the drive! It said it was a new and upcoming restaurant and so I was like ok let's try it like the name Pho Real (For Real) and I'm always up for new places. So we go in and as soon as I step in a customer looks up and smiles and says hi so nice and the host walks up and smiles and offers us to seat anywhere we like. She asked how was our day and how we were doing. She asked us for our drinks and gave us a minute! So they had multiple options for drinks and was super stoked but played it safe and got me a sweet tea and my sister for a water and a sprite. However the drinks came out fast and the cups were like medium slender size drinks and with like 5-7 drinks and it's empty lol so would be nice to have a bigger cup. I ordered us 2 orders of Spring Rolls with chicken and 2 orders of Egg Rolls! They came right out and let me tell you it was super delicious! Made fresh like it should be. The Spring Rolls were full of flavor and not too over stuffed as some are, had just the right amount! However once I tried the Egg roll my mouth had an explosion. It was so good I ate both egg rolls on the tray. So my sister Ordered 2 plates the Brisket Meat Ball Noodle Soup and the fried rice with BBQ Pork, Chinese style sausage, and shrimp! Once her food came out it looked so delicious and of course I tried the Fried Rice it was so good. My cousin ordered the grilled shrimp and grilled beef over rice sticky noodle and vegetable. Which she didn't share and ate the entire bowl. I mean these are big/ Large portions. I ordered the Hue's Style Spicy Beef Noodle Soup/bún bò Hué and also order the Grilled Pork and Grilled Shrimp over Rice sticky noodles and Vegtables. Let me say i began eating my soup and got so full. It's a large portion and it was so filling. I did take the grilled pork and shrimp home as I was stuffed. Now I did love the owner/manager I think that's who he was coming up to us and asking us how was the food and flavor and if we were ok. He brought us each our plates. However the only down side was that they abandoned us after the food came out and didn't ask us if we needed a refill until the end almost. He was super nice even when i paid he got my name from the card and kept saying my name as if he knew and made me feel comfortable and welcomed. I saw this pho restaurant open near my house and I needed to try it because pho is one of my favorite dish. I ordered the LARGE number 1 with tripe, eyeround beef, brisket, and tendon with a extra side of vinegar onions. The broth was extremely flavorful when I took a sip and with generous amounts of meats. I finished the entire bowl and the broth too; usually I don't finish the broth when I eat pho because I get full easily but this broth is really good. I also ordered the vietnamese iced coffee it already comes premixed but the coffee really packs a punch and its strong just how I like it.
