    Pork & eggroll vermicelli bowl

Walked in and were able to be seated immediately! Not very many servers working but one came over quickly and took our order. I highly recommend their egg rolls, they were the highlight of our meal and super crispy. Food was very good but I'm unable to give them 5 stars as the location didn't look very clean. Dirty plates would sit on tables for a while after guests would leave and register area where drinks are supposed to be made looked messy and not super clean.

Got the bun bo hue here and I wish it was a bit spicier and it also lacked depth of flavor. Almost like it was missing a few spices. I also wish there were the blood cubes that is usually in bun bo hue, but they were missing that. I also got a bun thit nuong cha gio to go and this was very good. The nuoc mam was the perfect amount of sweet, sour, and salty while the eggrolls were perfectly crispy.

My Lan Bistro, my favorite restaurant in Alliance, is where I always order salt and pepper squid or shrimp. I've been to their other store, but I like this one best. All the Salt and Pepper dishes are flawlessly delicious. The seafood is always fresh, with every piece having a crispy, golden exterior and perfect seasoning. My Lan's specially crunchy and tender texture is superior; I've yet to find a better one. This location offers a large and ample welcoming and cozy ambiance. The service is friendly and it is also efficient. They all prioritize customer service. Your needs are fulfilled, even when you're busy. Many Alliance residents who strongly desire exceptionally high-quality Vietnamese cuisine should eat here. The experience is entirely worthwhile. I plan to return sometime.

Food was good! Service was good and ambiance was good! Reminded me of an authentic small Vietnamese restaurant from my home town. My husband is Vietnamese and gave his stamp of approval! Also tons of older Asian people who speak the language so you know it's good!

never I'm craving good Vietnamese food, my go-to lunch spot is My Lan. My coworkers and I order from there every other week. I've tried almost everything on their menu! One day, we decided to take a break from the office and have lunch at the restaurant itself. Located in Alliance Town Center on the Sam Moon side, My Lan offers plenty of parking. The place gets busy on weekends during lunch, but it's always clean, with lots of tables and plenty of natural light. My current favorite is the grilled pork and eggroll vermicelli. I usually ask for extra sauce because I love to have every bite covered in it. The service is courteous, and the food comes out quickly. As always, the portions are generous and the food is delicious.

This is our go to pho and Vietnamese food. Always quick service. We ordered chicken pho, meatball pho, combo fried rice, egg rolls, and the vermicelli noodle with grilled pork and egg rolls. Our food came out fresh and delicious! They have plenty of seats, even for big family gatherings.

We are at MyLãn again. Today is cloudy and cool so it's a great day for some delicious Pho. Since I'm a diabetic they substitute the noodles with vegetables and I'm in heaven. For an appetizer we have their famous egg rolls; you get 5 with a vegetable plate which is leaf lettuce, bean sprouts, sliced cucumbers, mint and carrot/hiccama slaw. The service is amazing even if they are busy, our favorite server is Hi, yes that's his name. They have plenty of room for large parties or booths for smaller gatherings. This is our favorite Pho restaurant, if you have never tried pho you are missing out, this stuff is addictive. Another favorite is Korean BBQ with a generous portion of ribblets on a huge mound of fried rice. DELICIOUS!! They also have great desserts too, flan, 3 bean dessert, mung bean topped off with coconut cream are my favorites.

Got my fix today and had some Shaken beef with a grilled spring roll. Staff are always friendly and service was fast. Shaken beef is always so good. I came in the right time there was no wait. Gotta love that !

Best place to take a hunny to try authentic Vietnamese food for the first time. Service was awesome. You can't go wrong with any of their pho or rice or vermicelli dishes so try it all. Egg rolls are amazing as well. Bathrooms are okay, slightly dirty but you can't expect much from an Asian restaurant!

My dad and I stopped here for lunch while I'm visiting DFW for break. My parents have eaten here a number of times and really like it, but it was my first time. After my experience, I can see why my family likes it so much! Inside is really spacious and clean. The decor is classy and simple, and the bathrooms were large and clean as well. There is plenty of parking in the plaza. We both ordered the house special bun thit nuong. Best vermicelli bowl I've had! The grilled meat was smoky and grilled to perfection, super flavorful. The egg rolls were crispy and the filling was amazing. The fried shrimp cake was the best part, super crunchy and delicious. The portion is huge for your price, and the sweet fish sauce it came with was perfectly sweet and umami. There were fresh veggies and pickled veggies in the bowl that added a really nice touch of freshness. The food tastes really authentic and matches the Vietnamese homemade food I grew up eating at home. The service is great as well! Super attentive and friendly. I would definitely visit again if I'm ever in the area! Highly recommend.

Big win for my fellow veg heads too, there are plenty of customizable options which I always appreciate. That said, both my husband's dish and mine felt a little muted. We were chasing that classic Vietnamese fragrance, a little more salt, a little more spice, and ended up doing some DIY with sriracha and extra jalapeños to get there. It definitely wasn't bad by any means, just not quite hitting that craveable level that brings you back the next day.

My husband always orders the spicy filet mignon pho, and it never disappoints. The broth has a nice kick, and the filet mignon is tender and flavorful. I usually like trying something different each visit aside from the spicy pho, and so far I've enjoyed the curry plate with grilled shrimp, sliced grilled pork, Korean BBQ short ribs, shaken beef, and the beef stew. Every dish we've tried has been satisfying, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. The service is always friendly and quick, even when they're busy. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and a nice place to relax for a casual meal.

While the bahn mi isn't exactly traditional, it is still very good -- I'd highly suggest getting it with the pate. The sampler appetizer has a little bit of everything and is great for sharing. Pineapple fried rice was delicious. Pad Thai also great! If you're a spicy eater like me, just go for very spicy. They have 4 spice levels (mild, medium, spicy, very spicy) and this is a reminder to myself to get very spicy next time. Thanks for the delicious meals!

A quick note on seating: the patio is lovely in theory, with the optional open windows and a breezy feel, but the chairs are not winning any comfort awards. Inside booths are the move. Also worth noting, this is Fort Worth, and once the thermometer hits triple digits, the patio conversation ends itself if the windows are open. Plan accordingly. Malai starts every table with steamed sticky rice and an eggplant dip, which is a charming little ritual and a genuinely good one. We also kicked things off with the Edamame, a heads up on the heat level there, and the Fried Imperial Rolls, filled with ground pork and shrimp and served with a sesame soy sauce. Fair warning: these do not photograph well and arrive at the table looking a little shy. Don't be fooled. They're flavorful, subtly spicy, and well worth ordering. For entrees, we tried the Basil Vegetable Fried Rice two ways, one vegan and one with chicken. The vegan version was a genuine surprise, with vegetables cooked just right and a flavor that didn't need the chicken to make its case. The mushrooms, however, had the texture of something you'd find in a hardware store. Chew at your own risk. The Green Curry, meanwhile, was a case of too much of a good thing. The curry was so heavy-handed it drowned everything underneath it. Sometimes restraint is a virtue. Save room for the Banana Pot de Crème. It's creamy, subtly sweet, and a graceful finish to the meal. The service at Malai is enthusiastic, and I do mean enthusiastic. The staff works as a team, all smiles, attentive, always nearby. Occasionally a little too nearby. More than once a plate nearly disappeared before we were done with it. It's a small complaint, and honestly a far better problem than the alternative. They're warm, cheerful, and clearly enjoy what they do, which goes a long way. Portions are generous, so order a few dishes and share the wealth. For a lunch stop between shops, Malai Kitchen punches well above its weight.
