First time trying this place, and it was a togo pho #1. I ordered a large. Bad idea on my part. Their large is like extra large at other pho shop. It was delicious, but DO NOT ORDER LARGE togo. I often come here with my roommate because we both love vietnamese food and are creatures of habit. We have only come to this vietnamese restaurant in all of stockton. They have good tasty spring rolls. They have a combo spring roll for an appetizer. Half of it is fresh and half is fried. I like the balance. I usually get the Pho with everything. It is reasonably sized and averagely-priced, about 7 bucks or so. It could defintely be cheaper. They have a pretty good menu of dishes. Pictures are included. There's too much ice in the blended fruit smoothies. They ruined the Thai Tea completely with whatever ingredients that doesn't belong there. I did like their Black Pepper steak and rice, but the dish should be called Black Bean sauce and pepper steak bc there were black beans in it. read more

We came here for the first time and was not to impress... I order the rice plate #80 and my rice was hard... We had to wait for the other order because they forgot about it... Update: Whew!!! They were expanding the restaurant! All is good now! I love this place! The Phó Ga is my favorite. So I drive by today to confirm what my friend had told me. They are not in there anymore. :( What happened. Are they renovating? Did they move to another location? Please someone help me out. Enjoyed chicken pho. The broth was tasty and has just enough spice for me. The price was reasonable and the people are pleasant.

I've been coming here for a few years now, and my experience has varied from being extremely satisfied to meh. I'm not sure if it's just me, but it seems like the past year and a half or so just hasn't been as good as previously. I still give this pho restaurant the benefit of the doubt (4 stars) because i've had so many good experiences here in the past. Ive only been here once but i definitely want to go back. I orsered a vermicelli bowl and it was delicious and large. My bf got this amazing dish with the fried noodles and its literally like a nest of fried crunchy noodles and once the sauce of the meats and veggies on top soaks up the noodles, its even better. How rude! Was going to leave a decent review until I left to the restroom and came back to my table COMPLETELY cleared off. I was gone for no more than 2 mins! How rude. CLEARLY I had not payed yet and was not done. There were still noodles in my bowl as well as my dessert full. If they thought to save my dessert by the register for me, they should have known I wasn't done. They weren't busy and didn't need to turn tables THAT fast (there were plenty of empty clean tables), nor was I an unpleasant customer. I was by myself and quiet, minding my business eating. Wow. So I went there last night with my wife and daughter and ordered the usual. Shrimp spring rolls and #64 chicken and rice plate and #67 chicken and shrimp with rice. Unfortunately my plate #67 had most of it's chicken raw. I put the raw chicken on another plate and ate my rice and shrimp. When I went to pay I told the cashier that my meal wasn't all cooked and after she goes and looks at the chicken she comes back to tell me she's giving 10% off. And I just looked at her in disbelief. She couldn't even apologize or offer me another meal. I wasn't satisfied with this visit and even though I wasn't pleased I didn't make a big deal about it, even though there were people that were friends with the owners and they were seated right next to us. I love that they give you a lot of meat here . There's always something different I eat whenever I come here . My favorite is their grilled meat spring rolls a must get when you visit . Decided to get a salad. Asked for dressing on the side (the sweet stuff) and instead they dressed up the salad and gave me egg rolls sauce on the side...the heck? Maybe I should go into details of exactly what I'm looking for. Tasted the hubby's pho and it was *blahh*. I felt like it was missing something. Horrible service from the lady at the counter. I asked what the dollar extra charge was and they told me it was limes. Charged me 1.00 for limes that we didn't eat. I asked why I wasn't told there was a charge for lines and her response was she doesn't have to tell me. Laughed at me. I asked if the menu has the cost of limes she said no and again laughed. The lady servers were wonderful. The man who actually took the order didn't speak much English which made ordering hard. He wasn't unpleasant but he seemed a little annoyed we didn't understand what he was explaining. We ended up with something we didn't want but with the time crunch we just took it. THERE WAS A FLY IN MY SOUP!!! I went up to the lady, & showed her. She didn't even act like it was a big deal so they probably always get people complaining about insects in their food. All she said was "sorry about that" and crossed it off our tab. Still had to pay for my mothers soup too. Fly vomits stomach enzymes that break up the food for them to slurp with their proboscises. ALSO, many flies will lay eggs on the food they are snacking on. This fly was DEAD in my soup that I ATE. Flies spread disease. Maggots infestation. Flies are super gross. But they may be even worse than that. ... Flies carry hundreds of different species of bacteria, many of which are harmful to humans, transmitting them to surfaces they land on - mainly via their legs. THEY GAVE ME the soup with the FLY IN THERE. The worse part is the girl did NOT care or feel embarrassed about what just happened. DO NOT eat at this place because this is DISGUSTING. And they are freaking RUDE FOR NOT CARING and need to do a better job at making sure INSECTS AREN'T IN THE FOOD THEY ARE SERVING. THIS IS DISGUSTING. Mean people to not even care!!! read more
