I recently tried the meat ball pho and the combination pho and while I enjoyed the spring rolls, I was disappointed with the portion size of the pho. The broth had a nice flavor, but the quantity of noodles and meat was less than I expected. Overall, I would say that my experience was average. Omggg..they outdid themselves again. First time ordering the saigon special. It was a meal for two for $28.95 or so. It was so filling. I ordered the grilled pork which tasted like heaven lol. Favorite part was the crispy eggroll wrappers. It cane with a peanut sauce and nuoc cham. I couldn't tell which i liked better. Everything about this meal was amazing. We ordered three bowls of pho to eat in, along with Pad See Ew, and one additional pho to go. Shortly after placing the order, we tried to cancel the to-go pho but were told it couldn't be done because it had already been prepared. While I could have refused to pay for it since it wasn't yet in my possession, and was early on dining in, I chose not to make a fuss. Unfortunately, the Pad See Ew was a major disappointment--it looked and tasted nothing like the dish I expected. As for the pho, two of our soups had the raw meat on the side(requested) but the slices were incredibly thin, small, and fewer in number than what we're used to from other places. I understand that prices are rising, and I'm willing to pay more, but when that happens, the quality and quantity should not diminish. My family eats pho regularly and even makes it at home--we're an Asian family, and we know good pho. Sadly, we won't be returning to this restaurant. Sometimes you just need good pho. This is the place to come. It's located in area where parking is not limited or cramped. The location is kept nice and clean and never see people waiting very long regardless if picking up, ordering to go or ordering to sit down and eat. A couple times I stopped by at last minute and ordered some pho and they are quick to get together for me. They include all utensils, toppings and package up so neatly so doesn't spill in my car. The broth has a lot of flavor and like the fact they have diff options for pho. Spring rolls were pretty good too! I'm a returning fan of the location. read more

I really enjoyed our unplanned dinner. We planned to have dinner at another place, but it was really busy. Pho Saigon was a spur of the moment choice, but an excellent choice. We were hungry and dug into our food too fast to take a picture. Food was tasty, hot from the kitchen and traditional. I had a very disappointing experience here. I ordered from here through DoorDash. When I came to pick up my order the person working didn't ask my name or anything and just handed me a bag. I asked if he was sure it was my food and he said yes and seemed to want to rush me out. Once I opened the food I realized that the order I got was completely wrong, I most likely had someone else's food. I tried calling them to sort this out but no one picked up the phone. So I drove all the way back to the restaurant to try to get the correct order. When I came in they took the bag of food and said that they couldn't remake it. They just told me to request a refund through DoorDash and hope that it goes through. I was honestly so disappointed (and hangry lol) that I decided to not order from here again. Ordered the rice noodle salad with chicken and shrimp. The chicken was inedible, it was dry and hard, probably leftover from yesterday. Even soaking it in the vinegar salad dressing couldn't make it soft enough to chew. They would have never served that in the restaurant, but because it was delivery there's nothing we could do. The rating is based on customer service. We ordered caramelized catfish, egg rolls, pho, and banh canh. My husband picked it up and looking at the bags, it looked right (maybe we and the workers needed to thoroughly check it). I was 20 minutes away from the restaurant and got a call to let me know that they gave me the wrong order. They gave me six items instead of four (like I had ordered), can I come back? My husband and I were thinking, maybe they didn't give us our food (again, I will be accountable for not checking my bags). I drove back and almost there, 5 more mins., when I got a call to see if I was still on my way (note, I was already on my away 20 mins.). When we arrived, the employee took the bat and gave it off to another customer (outside in front of our car). No apology, no concern that it was an inconvenience for us, though they messed up (yes, I know things happen). What if we dug into it or touched it? Would anyone else want it? The beef stew was excellent ****! The stew meat was tender and high quality with yummy fatty pieces. The oxtail pho was disappointing ***. The oxtail was dry and chewy and as if all the good pieces had been pulled off. The service was unremarkable but the pho broth is better than most in the area. I'm no expert in Vietnamese cuisine, and most of my knowledge about it comes from Anthony Bourdain , but from what I've had so far, the Phó here is as good as any I've had elsewhere. There was only a small clump of bean sprouts on the accessory plate, and the basil seemed a little funky, but the soup itself was pretty standard. The booths were clean and service was almost too fast. I've only eaten here once, so I'm only going from that one experience, but I plan on coming back in the future to try other items.
