I am so glad there is finally a Vietnamese restauraunt at Easton!! It's located at a relatively quiet corner near Nordstrom and has a super clean and pretty interior that had a wall of windows that was opened up to the outdoors. They have a small patio space with several tables. The employees were really friendly and a few of them reminded me of my aunties and uncles. I had the feeling this is a "mom and pop" run establishment. We ate here for dinner and had the chả giò and the phở bò (technically phở tái). The menu was small, which is nice because it saves me from decision paralysis, but there is still something on the menu for everybody. They have rice (com), noodle (bún) dishes and bánh xèo, or crispy crepe with vegetable and meat filling. There are also a couple vegetarian options. The menu items were a bit pricier than expected but considering what Easton charges for rent and the portion sizes, it's understandable. The pho was huge and came with sides of jalapeños, bean sprouts, and thai basil. There was A LOT of meat and I could barely finish all the meat and noodles. I was not able to finish the broth. It looks like they use brisket for the meat and they looked like decent cuts with a good mix of fat, and it was juicy and had good flavor. They also brought out more sprouts and basil upon request. A few suggestions: - I would make is to cut the jalapeños more thinly so they can soften in the hot broth better -Have an option to purchase an extra side of noodles or meat to supplement the generous amount of broth. -Add better descriptions to the menu items for those unfamiliar with Vietnamese food (which is probably most people here in Columbus). I really hope this place gets a lot of business and can do well despite having to deal with Easton's ridiculous rent. Best of luck! read more

This place is so cute! I've sat in as well as done take out and have had pleasant experiences both times. Today I did take out and ordered the Fried Egg Rolls($10) and the small Beef Pho but replacing the beef meat with Chicken($15). The pick up process was super easy. Chicago prices for a Columbus eatery, but the food was on point and the service was absolutely fantastic, so it all shakes out in the end. Started off with the spring rolls and crepes - the spring rolls were fresh and delicious, interesting combo of shrimp and pork, with the addition of lettuce, sprouts and mint. The crepes are made with egg instead of flour and served with a savory fish oil, and my dad, aunt and myself were all a fan. I ordered the Vietnamese noodles with egg rolls and grilled pork and the portion size was fantastic and flavor was just as big and bold. I'm always looking for new pho places in Columbus after my favorite one closed a few years ago. Pho Social is located in Easton near Nordstrom. The inside is beautiful and you can tell they put a lot of time into making it modern and upscale. I ordered the beef pho to go and it was ready in under 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly and service was fast and efficient. I returned home half an hour later and the to go packaging held up well with the broth still hot. Standard pho fixings include rice noodles, bean sprouts, basil, jalapeños and lime. The broth had solid flavor, however I wish there had been a bit more of it. I ordered the beef which was a bit fatty and came in huge pieces. Personally, I prefer leaner cuts and smaller pieces but I know this varies by person. I'd give the food a 4 but the price point is very high for a bowl of pho at $20. Most places are around $10 a bowl for the same if not bigger portion size. The price points seem a little high even for Easton where I expect to pay a little more. If you're looking for a pho fix in Easton and don't mind spending a little more this is your place. read more

The menu is pricey but portion size and quality make up for it. The spring rolls were fresh and had a peanut and sriracha dipping sauces accompanying it. Also ordered the pork and noodles. Pork was spectacular, flavored and cooked to perfection. Since I wanted to try an array of things, I also ate the beef pho. Tons of beef with a good portion of broth and noodles. Wow. Just wow. Great find at Easton. They have very traditional Vietnamese cuisine. The menu isn't extensive, but what they offer is 5-stars. We (2 people) split the spring rolls. I'm allergic to shellfish and they had no issues making them without shrimp. (Note the crepes are not available without shrimp). Yum!!! Best true spring rolls I've had in a long time! The next course was the veggie bowl with rice noodles. There was enough food in the bowl for three people! I felt bad leaving over half the dish; however, we were staying at the Hilton and didn't have the ability to store leftovers. The bill for the two of us was about $50. A little pricey, but worth it. I want to add yes the pricing is a bit higher for vietnamese food but I do see the care in quality of meat or products used. Hopefully as they are new restaurant starting out they will get more clientele and pricing may adapt but since they just recently opened I think the food quality is great. I ordered the beef stew because my friend was here for the pho. The menu said it came with potatoes, so I ordered the side with bread. It was basically the sandwich loaf bread, so I asked for butter and the waitress said they had none whatsoever. I thought that was kind of funny and moved on. My stew meat had 4 chunky pieces of meat, no knife to cut it, and sadly was mostly fatty. I asked about the missing potatoes from the dish and another waitress said they never serve it with potatoes, and the menu was wrong. This place is great! The food is delicious and the ambiance is fantastic. My wife and I love trying new places and this place just came on the radar. She had the beef pho and I had the Vietnamese noodles with egg rolls. We shared the spring rolls and they were amazing! The spicy sauce and the peanut sauce tasted great! This location is super convenient, it's located in the heart of Easton right next to Nordstrom. The interior was beautiful and had great lightening. We went for a late dinner and was seated immediately. There was only a few other tables occupied this night, but they had many to go orders. Togo didn't seem to affect sit down food service so I was very pleased about that. As for the food, everything tasted great! But, the portion sizes were super small and it was very expensive compared the other Vietnamese restaurants around the area. For the price, the portions shouldn't be smaller than their competitors.... We ordered the Beef Pho, Pork Vermicelli Noodles and Pork Banh Mi. The Banh mi came out first and it was really good. The pate was really rich and flavorful and the bread was super soft and fresh! But, like I said it's just a really small sandwich and I'm used to bigger portions. The beef pho was decent. The broth is good and the meat to noodles ratio was above average! We got the regular (larger size) and it was comparative to a small bowl at other pho places. The best dish (IMO) was the vermicelli. The pork portion was HUGE and it had a bit of spice to it. It came with veggies and one egg roll and you mix it all together with the fish sauce. Overall, food is good but it's not worth the price... it's just really expensive for super small portions. I ate with great relish until I found a MEATBALL in the soup. No joke. It was a meatball in my vegan soup. Pho Social staff gave us our entire meal for free and they were so very sorry. I hate writing this review because I loved this place. But I'll never go back because my trust is broken. How could this even happen in a dish they advertise as vegan? Lets start with what I found good here as you can see im leaving a one star review. The service here the two times I went to try this place was probably the only redeemable quality this place had. Now on to the problems I had eating here. 1. The price of food was pretty high and honestly Vietnamese food is that comfort food and doesn't need to be high dining price. 2. The cafe su da taste nothing like how it was suppose to. Like at all completely nothing like it. I was very annoyed by this. 3. For the price you pay for the pho I just couldnt even taste why it was so expensive, the broth which is the most important part didn't grab my attention. My taste buds were not moved by the flavour. I'm so excited to finally have a pho place at Easton! The place itself is beautiful, however the $20 pho is a huge up-charge from the usual $9-$13 pho at other places in Columbus. Price aside, the broth itself was rich and the overall quality and quantity of the pho was up to par. Would be nice if they gave more bean sprouts/jalapeño initially, however there was no problem when we asked for more. We ended up taking home some of our food, and it came in cute containers. The pho was good, same as what I'm used to back home. But they are very pricey compared to what I'm used to in California. The broth was definitely a little different with the flavors, but of course everyone makes their broth a bit differently. The broth had no flavor so dont listen to most of these reviews. save your money and go to another pho place. 20 dollars for a large? theres only like 3 bites worth of noodles, and 6 slices of beef. 12 dollars for 2 spring rolls? that's ridiculous. I work very near by and have been in a few times. The food is really good and the staff are so wonderful!! However, the prices are way too high... I have had plenty of other Vietnamese places around Columbus at about half the price. I think Pho Social would have more repeat customers if they came down on the prices. We were really excited about the opening of a pho restaurant in Easton and couldn't wait to try it. My friend and I both had the beef pho and water to drink. For the price the food was good, not exceptional. The serving size is considered small compared to other pho restaurants in the area.
