Since moving to Bradenton, this is the closest Pho restaurant to us. Their quality going south just within six months from our first visit. Portions are being cut but not the price. Chicken wings were still cold inside when served. Could be because they don't have enough staff to serve. However, as customer I expect the quality to have a higher standard. This place has the worst boba I've had in a while! Ordered a Thai iced tea boba. The iced tea pitcher was full and uncovered from a lower fridge which didn't seem health code friendly to me. She barely filled the cup halfway then loaded it up with mostly ice. Could barely get my straw inside because there was too much ice in the way. She didn't fill up the cup and left a big enough space for 4 big sips. I asked for her to fill it up all the way considering I'm paying over $6 for a boba drink, which is the most I've ever paid for a subpar drink that doesn't even have alcohol in it and she had the nerve to say, "Wow." Like I was asking for too much when it took her less than 5 minutes to put it together and they had enough tea made already. She still didn't fill it up all the way! Only enough for 2 extra sips. Boba was disgusting and inedible! It was not fresh and clumpy, it was a hard chew and couldn't finish them because there were 3 large clumps of them that would not separate and really upsetting since that's the main point of enjoying a boba drink! Flavor was the usual and what I expected. But, I would not go back for the attitude and the feeling of being ripped off. Too bad this place sucked since there aren't many boba places in this area. But, I will make the trip to go a little further out of my way for Kung Fu Tea instead of this place. At least that place is a chain and pretty consistent. A friend of mine recommended this place! It is where the old Joey D is by Best Buy and rooms to go... the place smelled amazing as soon as you walk in. And the bone in pho I got was amazing!!! The pho comes in a separate bowl and this bone is huge!!! It was as much fun getting all the meat off as it was to eat it!!! I had a pic of a meal I had there 3 years ago pop up on my feed last week and ever since, I've been craving fried pork spring rolls, so I went today but since I was in a hurry I didn't get my usual meal. I ordered an appetizer of fried egg rolls which the menu said were filled with pork and a grill pork Bahn mi sandwich. Boy, was this a disappointment. The menu clearly said pork for the egg rolls but what I got were basically Chinese style eggrolls complete with sweet chili sauce. They were NOTHJNG like the pork rolls served with nuoc Cham that I had been served before. The sandwich said it had house mayo, but what I received was a sad french roll that had barely anything in it at all and not a drop of mayo. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because they were polite and relatively fast. They seem to have let quality slip significantly since my last visit. I won't be back. read more

I reviewed Pho Street in Bradenton almost 2 years ago. I ate there several times and often got takeout. While they closed a bit during the pandemic, they reopened for takeout and then for sit-down service. I mostly have been getting takeout and the food and service were top-notch. Today I decided to order food to go and went to their website, which is no longer online. I phoned to find out if they were open and they were. I waited until I arrived before ordering since their menu was no longer online. I told the lady who was waiting to take my order about the website, and she was pleased because she said they changed the menu and the website was wrong. As I looked at the menu I noted that the Spring Rolls were no longer $3.99 for 2 but were $5.50 for 2, and the 5 Spring Rolls for $8.99 were no longer on the menu. I ordered 2 orders of Spring Rolls & Pho soup. I do not recall the old price of the soup, but I was quite sure that it was about $2 more. When I got home, I had the soup first and it was great. It was flavorful and plenty of meat in it. However, I was totally disappointed with the Spring Rolls. They were smaller, thinner, less crisp, and not as tasty as previous visits. The peanut sauce, which to me is the best part, was watery and bitter, which made it unenjoyable. I will go back for the Pho and try just a single order of Spring Rolls. If they are not good, I will have to look for another place to get Vietnamese Spring Rolls and Pho. One last item. My waitress indicated that the restaurant was under new ownership, which explains the changes. read more

We are a Vietnamese people, we work for the nails shop. We have more than 5 times or food here. They cooked nice. We love food here. But the owner is terrible, almost when we order to go, they give us a missing items, when we call back to let she know, she never say sorry and reward for us back. She blamed us for cheating. After many times she did it, we won't want to come back here again. We can pay $100 for the order many times, why we want to cheating? For what, we are a Vietnamese, you should do more kind. Let's start with the good. Nice interior and server was prompt. Bad - silverware and chopsticks are in a dirty box on the table and particles of food stuck to forks inside. Woman who seated us was not welcoming. Good - Pho beef broth was very good. Bad - basil on the side plate had a big black thing right on top. I am so excited to write this review. My husband and I had noticed the "coming soon" signs for a while and didn't realize they had opened! So we went to try them out today. Best.decision.ever. I wasn't expecting much regarding the inside or atmosphere within the restaurant because it used to be a Joey D's (I know, I know, people can remodel and I wasn't sure what they were working with to begin with) but woah! it is absolutely stunning. Clean, sophisticated decor - a really beautiful space. We were promptly greeted but it took a minute for them to figure out where they would seat us (2 adults, 3 kids), so they ended up setting us up in a large booth toward the right side of the shop- close to the bar. My children have never had Vietnamese food and have experienced a bit of Japanese, so we weren't too sure what we'd for them, but my eldest daughter had recently learned about Vietnamese Pho, so she was excited to try it! Her (9 y/o) , and my 7 year old daughter both ordered the children's pho (they also made chocolate milks in their cute boba cups for them, I appreciated them going the extra mile for that) my 4 y/o son is very picky so we thought the potstickers would be good for him to try and he could share my soup if he decided he liked it. I ordered the Chicken Pho and my husband ordered one of the Beef Pho's, on top of this we also ordered a custom Sushi Burrito. YES. SUSHI BURRITO. I saw some of the photos here in reviews but had to see it to believe it- YOU CAN ORDER A SUSHI BURRITO. So, you have two choices of how much protein you want in the burrito, we chose 2 ($10.95 or so) Tuna and Salmon, then you choose the sauce, we chose Spicy Mayo, then the stuffing :) (you can choose as much of these as you want, some have a slight upcharge) for that we choose avocado ($1 upcharge, not bad), cilantro and scallion, then you choose the toppings (again you choose as many as you want and some have a slight upcharge), for this we did the sesame seeds and masago (.50 upcharge). I think the total of the burrito came out to about $12 which is so incredibly reasonable because you can share it with someone (it's that big!). ....and we ordered Thai Teas- I CANNOT forget to mention those because we may or may not have gone BACK to Pho Street about an hour later JUST TO GET MORE THAI TEA haha! The Pho is absolutely delicious. The kid's Pho only comes with either beef brisket or meatball and noodle- this is great because we all know how picky some kids are! I imagine you can add stuff to it if you'd like, but we just got it the way it comes. The Chicken Pho that I had was one of the tastiness things I have ever eaten (I'm 33, I've eaten a lot!), and it was HUGE! I only made it through about half of the bowl before I couldn't eat anymore, so it's definitely enough to share with someone or order for yourself and save some for later! For the price of the bowl of Chicken Pho ($8.95) was a serious steal, I love that they have made it affordable and plentiful- thank you for that! The Sushi Burrito was absolutely to die for- THE best sushi roll thingy I have ever had, everything in the burrito was so FRESH- I highly recommend building your own and trying it. I can't wait to get another one! I am so happy that Pho Street is here in Bradenton. The service is unbelievable, and the owner is so friendly. We will absolutely be back. read more

Their bahn mi sucked in my opinion. The bread was good but the pickled cucumbers/carrots were replaced by green bell peppers which I have never seen before. Pho Street was a pleasant surprise. After waiting for it to open, my husband and I stopped in, not sure what to expect. Boy were we wowed by the flavors they can develop and the high quality of the food. My husband couldn't believe how good the grilled pork vermicelli bowl was, especially the flavor and texture of the pork.
