Not sure what cuisine this is but it's "pho sure" not Vietnamese. Interior looks nice.

The restaurant in nice and they have comfortable seats. I was underwhelmed by the food. Pho is my favorite and I eat it often here in Raleigh and love to try new places as I travel. I got the beef pho and added meatballs since there was no combination option and the House spring rolls. After spending $20 on lunch, the spring rolls had almost no meat in them, the peanut sauce was extremely thick, the pho was greasy and the noodles over cooked. And not to mention I had to get all of my sauce, napkins, and refill my water myself. It sounds bougee but for $20 I should at least have a real plate and my water refilled. read more

We've happily landed and will be loyal only to PHO SURE, not only is the name great name but THE PHO is the BEST in Raleigh, in our opinion. Love this Pho, this pho is the way it is supposed to taste, fresh, clean and healthy. I do not know why anyone on here would say it's bland they must not know how Pho is supposed to taste. Pho sure is the authentic clean eating option. I also love the atmosphere here and not only is it clean and comfortable, the customer service is stellar. They have vegetarian broth!!!!! My friend and I were so excited to find a pho place with vegetarian broth, because normally the "vegetarian" pho options are still made with chicken broth, they just don't have pieces of meat in the soup. We both got the vegetarian pho. I got the regular, she got the spicy, and it was REALLY spicy (though delicious). There was a lot of tofu, and a ton of veggies. Neither of us were able to finish every bite! We also got the fried veggie spring rolls, which were delicious. We spoke with the owner to tell her how happy we were that they had a veggie friendly option, and she told us that they could make almost anything on the menu vegetarian at a customer's request. I was hesitant to have the authentic pho after others said the broth was tasteless but in the end it is what i ordered and it was delicious!!!! The broth was plenty flavorful! I ordered the beef and it was tender and delicious! My daughter ordered the spicy pho with chicken (the chicken was a bit dry) she said it was tasty and it sure did clean out her sinuses! We also had the order of 3 fried dumplings and those were so tasty and delicious i was wanting more! Prices are reasonable and food was good! read more

I finally got to try this place out today as I've been wanting to try it out for awhile now. It just so happens it's right down the road from work, so today I took a chance. So let's get straight to the review shall we! The restaurant is pretty nice, small and quiet with pretty good lighting. They have mostly tables with a small wrap around bar seating near the windows. I was greeted when I came in and the staff seem to be pretty friendly. I ordered the Pho Sate (Spicy Pho) and a drink which was priced at about $15, which is a little high for my liking. The Pho itself left something to be desired, not sure if it's intentional or not but the broth was very very light, almost waterlike. This could just be my personal palette but I found the pho was just lacking overall and definitely could have used a boost in flavor. I added some sriracha to try and give it some kick, which helped a little. The chili oil didn't help to much as it just masked the flavor of the broth even more, making it taste like oily water. They added a free house roll with my order, which was nice of them. Unfortunately, the house roll has shrimp in it which I was not aware of and I cannot eat, so just a heads up for anyone who has shellfish allergies. Overall, it was an ok experience, the atmosphere was nice and clean but the food was just sub par in my book. I may visit again and try something else. read more

I place and order over the phone and picked up my food, I got the pho with chicken. I had gotten back to work and sat down to eat my pho, taking two sips of the broth and really liking the flavors I went to take a bit out of my chicken and saw MOLD! All my other co-workers came in and said it definitely was mold, i had called to inform them that I would be coming back for a refund. When I told the man on the phone it had mold he said "so is that bad" now I don't know if he didn't understood me but I couldn't believe he said that. Pho Sure is only about ten minutes from my house. I'm always excited when a fast casual place opens up nearby and broadens my options for a quick non-fast food dinner! We went in on a Thursday night and the place was quiet-- literally. They need to pump music throughout the dining area so it isn't so quiet. The waitstaff is obviously new and in training. I went with the beefsteak pho. While I'm no pho connoisseur I really enjoyed it! I also thought the portion size was good, I only had about a quarter left over compared to other monstrous pho portions. The pho came with your standard toppings and they had sriracha and hoisin sauce stations if you wanted to mix them into your pho. My husband got one of the sticky rice bowls and really enjoyed it. He with with the sweet pork and it was delicious, I'm a sucker for sticky rice so I enjoyed sampling his as well. Overall we will definitely be adding Pho Sure to our fast casual repertoire! read more

After going back a few times I have a better idea of Pho Sure. The food is quite simple (i.e., bland), so I think they may be adjusting for American palates? Their peanut sauce has decent flavor but is way too thin. The noodle salad bowl fish sauce lacks any kick - there's a hint of what it is supposed to be, but falls short. And I'm used to noodle salad bowls having less lettuce, more herbs, and things like fried shallots. And eating sit-down in to-go containers is a bit off-putting, considering the price point. The space is lovely and everything is mostly competent, but it could be stellar if they upped the flavor a bit more (i.e., stuck with authentic) and considered proper plates instead of single-use-to-landfill everything. read more

This place is spotless! Always a good sign. The menu is brief and straightforward. I was impressed by the helpfulness of the staff member behind the counter. She answered my questions and suggested some options. As I am not that familiar with Vietnamese food, that information was much appreciated. I had the Noodle Bowl with chicken. It came with a vegetable egg roll. The serving was generous and attractively presented in a large bowl. The mix of tastes and texture was wonderful. I ordered the dry pho with sautéed tofu. The tofu was cooked perfectly. It was firm and flavorful. It came in a large bowl with noodles, bean sprouts, cilantro, basil, slices of jalapeño, a little lettuce and a lime wedge. A small bowl of broth came with it on the side. I was super hungry, but the pho was quite tasty. I'd definitely return. read more

When we first arrived the lady taking our order was very helpful. They messed up our order and my 70 year old mother was given spicy pho. The lady said I apologize and took it away brought back a new one, she stated we gave you new broth.. The problem was that they didn't replace the noodles or other items in the bowl just the broth, the SPICY was still there. My mother couldn't eat it, I went up and stated I am sorry but it is still spicy, the cook told me NO I REPLACED THE BROTH. I said its still spicy.. and that was it. nothing else, so my mother couldn't eat it. SO she went up front and explained that she couldn't eat it it was spicy, then I heard the lady raise her voice to my 70 year old 90 lb mother, that's rude.. Took everything I had to not respond to that.. SO needless to say. We won't be back. I don't recommend it. Use to be my mothers favorite place.. but now.. It has left a bad taste in our mouth.. Learn to be more respectful, and do not just replace the BROTH!!!! also it was hot as a sauna in the seating area.. read more

I went to 4 stars only because of the bad hours including being closed in middle of day every day-and bit because of: Also and this is odd since they are new but the friendliness and forthcoming info about this new food was very varied among the young women at the service counter. SO the place itself is very nice and the look of the place is great but the pho just isnt. It really saddens me to say because i've never had pho in my life that I didnt like. The Pho lacked any flavor. It was pretty much oillly water, over looked noodles that had the thickness and taste of spaghette noodles and over cooked beef. Ramen noodles have more taste than this pho. The price was also rather bad. With the highest price i've ever paid for pho being the worst tasting i've ever had it is a double sting. $11 a bowl of pho. Most place offer a single meet pho of this large size at around $8 and the combination of multiple meets for the same $12. It did come with a free drink and we sampled thier chicken salad for free too. I have to say that the drink and the free salad were hands down the best part of the meal. I want to rate higher but price and taste suck. read more

I have spent a few minutes clicking back and forth between 2* and 3*, but I feel that 2* is more appropriate. What I ordered: Beef Steak Pho. Added Meatballs Water to drink I used all of the bean sprouts, thai basil, jalapeno, and lime that were provided alongside of the pho. I also added sriracha. I unfortunately do not have any photos to provide, as I left my phone at the office. Pros (for me): It is almost within walking distance from my office, making it the closest and most convenient location for me to satisfy my Vietnamese food cravings. Pros (for others): -The menu is very well planned and designed. Everything is organized neatly, and all of the options are explained perfectly. -The interior itself is quite visually appealing compared to almost every other Vietnamese place that I know of. There is a wall of fantastic scenery paintings, and the wood all around the dining area just felt warm. -The cashier/server was pleasant and welcoming, as well as the man standing off to the side (I'm assuming owner or manager) watching over the staff. The Cons: -The food lacked a depth of flavor that you would typically expect from a signature Vietnamese dish. It had so much black pepper that I actually couldn't finish the last small bit of noodles at the bottom of the bowl after drinking the broth. It was just a large black pepper clump in the bowl. There was slightly too much onion, and not quite enough anise. Anise helps with that really distinct Pho flavor, and this bowl fell short. -They went a bit light on the Thai Basil. I only received 4 small basil leaves with the dish of add-ons. (I did NOT, however, attempt to ask for more. That may be an option, but I am unable to confirm it.) -The portion size was respectable, and honestly it was probably a proper portion size, but it was small compared to all of the other places around. -The music was... uncomfortable to say the least. It was quite loud considering there were only myself, and two other girls dining inside. Conversation volume was incredibly low, yet the music was still blasting. It made me want to rush my meal just so I could have some peace of mind, rather than making me want to relax and enjoy the food that I was consuming. -The price point was impossible to justify. The bowl I ordered was $10.99 + $2.25 + Tax for a total of $14.29. Compare this to one of the more popular Pho/Ramen/Noodle spots downtown, and this place is charging nearly $2.00 more for less protein. Pho Pho Pho charges $12.00 for a bowl containing Rare Beef, Meatballs, Shank, and Tripe, AND the portion is larger. Pho Sure is charging essentially the same price point, but with much less to offer. If the bowl blew me away with flavor, and gave me a really definite reason to crave it over Pho Pho Pho, or the even less expensive Pho Super9, I would be more than happy to pay at the current price point. It does not deliver like that, though. In conclusion: I have not written this place off yet, and I still recommend anyone to give this place a try. They are brand new, and they should be given a fair opportunity to learn and evolve. The space they are occupying is a competitive spot. There are a lot of working professionals in the area who love to gather at the eateries nearby. I HIGHLY recommend that they re-evaluate their price points in order to remain competitive. I removed 1* for the lack of overall flavor in the dish, and the excessive amount of black pepper left in the bowl. I feel that as your restaurants signature dish, this needs to be nailed to perfection, and it was not. I removed 1* for the unreasonable price point. I removed 1* for the general discomfort and negative experience that the music created. I will definitely return here at least one more time to try out other options, and will update my review as I do so. read more

The pho is terrible . If you know authentic pho you know this is not real pho . The pho has no flavor . The meat was thick when it was suppose to be thinly slice . You get no condiments they come in packets . if you love chili oil with pho as well this place says "pho doesn't go with chili oil" if you eat pho you know chili oil goes with pho.
