The banh mi (i had the lemongrass beef) was amazing. The bread was just right - crispy on the outside and soft and chewy inside. Flavors were on point. Really nice job. IMPROVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES: The sweet tea was awful. Watered down and too sweet. They need to work on this. Also, maybe consider serving some small sides to go with the banh mi (or other menu items). The banh mi wasn't quite enough to fill me up. It left me wanting just a little something more. Maybe offer a side option of one or two spring rolls, even a small bag of chips (not vietnamese, i know, but it goes with a sandwich for lunch). Cookies for dessert. Something else to go with it. We were in the neighborhood and heard a new pho place had opened, so we decided to check it out. My husband got the beef bahn mi and I got the beefsteak pho. The pho was ok, but I prefer Pho 79. My husband enjoyed his bahn mi. If we were in the neighborhood, we might come by again sometime, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat at Pho Sure. Maybe it should be called Pho Perhaps? read more

Really wanted to like this place - having a good, healthy Vietnamese place close by would have been great...unfortunately it wasn't all that good nor that healthy. We got the banh mi and the salad noodle bowl. The banh mi was not "authentic" but my husband said it was decent and hit the spot. The salad noodle bowl was disappointing - the chicken was not grilled as described and VERY greasy and the pickled daikon and carrots didn't hit the spot. Would say a better description would be Vietnamese INSPIRED food rather than Vietnamese food. All in all not a bad place just be sure to have proper expectations. read more

Good food, good prices. I ordered the sticky rice with the grilled honey chicken, it was delicious. The restaurant was very clean and the food came out in a timely manner. My wife ordered the chicken pho which tasted great and had just the right hint of spicy. The chicken had a soft texture that was pleasant compared to other phos we had at other places that had a rough texture. I am in love with this place! This is the BEST pho I have had anywhere in the triangle, and I've tried almost every place that offers it. The spring rolls were so fresh, and don't even get me started on the AMAZING bahn mi. The price is wonderful as well! Especially considering the qaulity and quantity of the food you are given! The food is healthy and very tasty but the service is shit. They pick and choose how to treat different customers. The front end staff are friendly but have to ask the owner about every change or substitution you'd like and the owner is not friendly if you know her at all. They are unwilling to accommodate you when they run out of something you want. They expanded the menu so now it's a lot more difficult for people to understand what they are looking at and what items are i.e. Bahn mi and "bowls" have the same letter B before them so you don't know what you're ordering if you don't ask. So sad because the food is good. Just looking for somewhere else. I'd rather sacrifice a bit of flavor for a LOT better customer service! read more

Had the spring rolls and pho. Hands down worst in the triangle. Broth lacked flavor and they give you legit 10 bean sprouts to top the flavorless broth. And the spring rolls don't get me started. My white boyfriend made better spring rolls than this place. Oh and the service beyond horrible. My friend and I ordered right after each other and someone who came after us got there soup before me. I really wanted to like this place after a bad experience with my favorite pho place over on Capital Blvd. The location is nice, easy to get to, very clean and a great atmosphere inside. However, it kind of ends there for me. The pho was lacking in flavor a lot. The service was not great. The girl wasn't very friendly, which is fine, but we realized after we placed our order that there would have been a much cheaper way to place our exact order (making it a combo instead of individual items). I understand that you would want the most money for your business. But the integrity would have gotten a lot more money out of us in the way of repeat visits. I'm a server at a restaurant and will always tell a customer if I know how to save them a dollar. It makes them feel like they can trust me and they're much more likely to come back or forgive small hang ups they may have, like non-flavorful broth for example. In the end, $4 is not going to break the bank and it's fine, but it's just one of those little things that would have made our experience totally different. It's expensive for the quantity of food, which would have been fine if it was AMAZING food, but it was just mediocre at best. They had tofu pho but the broth was chicken stock which seemed like quite the oversight in trying to offer vegetarian or vegan options since most people ordering tofu would not want or be able to consume a chicken based broth. As someone that does not eat meat I was not able to eat anything on the menu due to the broth. I noticed someone else has left a recent review stating they have vegetarian broth. I may have to call to see if they updated their broth options. Since it is a chain restaurant I did not think they would be making any changes and had no intentions of returning. read more

Confused about why this doesn't have higher reviews! Tonight I tried the vegetarian/tofu pho and fried veggie spring rolls. The pho broth was light, but I enjoyed that. It wasn't heavy, and didn't make me feel bloated afterward. Also, generous toppings- with plenty of tofu, jalapeño, zucchini, carrot, celery, sprouts, and basil. Banh mi was not what you call a true banh mi: lacking the homemade mayo, pate, true pickled daikon and carrots (the flavor was toned down). Spring rolls had a funny taste. Sticky rice was bland. All in all, did not taste the essence of Vietnamese good. Btw, I am Chinese Vietnamese and was born in Vietnam. My recommendation is for vegetarians this was good. Pho Sure is an awesome addition to our north Raleigh eateries! All the ingredients are so fresh and the whole restaurant is super clean and comfortable! The sticky rice is so delicious and I'm a very picky eater and was with a vegetarian who found tons of great tofu options! The manager/owner came over to make sure we enjoyed our food and it's a fast food place so that was impressive. Really nice people and good service by the take out folks. I've been here twice and will be back! I hear the Banh mi sandwiches are delicious from my son and his friends who are also picky! They ate every bite and loved it. I will Pho Sure be back!!
