Two stars for the nice people running it but the food was 1. This was my first negative review in quite some time but we spent too much money there on bad food not to let it be known.

The baguette was a very high-quality roll, the pulled pork was savory, and all of the veggies were nice and crisp. The barbecue sauce tasted like it was a vinegar based, and it had a great "Tang" to it. It provided a nice pop of acid to offset the richness of the pulled pork. I could only finish half of my sandwich, and I had the other half for dinner. The sandwich came out to $14 and change after tax, , which was reasonable for such a good sandwich. The reason I'm taking off a star, is because of the wait time. The wait time from when I pulled up till when I pulled out with my sandwich was roughly 15 minutes. That's quite a wait for a sandwich. You can order ahead online, but you still have to wait in the line to pick up your food. They do delivery, but they only do one delivery run a day at 11 AM, and so you have to get your order in on time. They shouldn't have the person running back-and-forth between being cashier, and taking orders as well. Maybe have another person taking orders. Hopefully the next time I come back, the wait won't be so long. I wish these guys would get a "brick-and-mortar." They would do very well. Thank you!

Man, why are people hating on this place? Jealousy *Cough Cough*. I've been a loyal customer since day one and I must say their food is excellent. You won't find anything else like it in Humboldt county especially with such nice ambiance. As for the service, I feel like the waiters do what they have to do to get the job done. They take your order, bring your drinks, and deliver hot food onto your table. We never had a problem pinning one down when we needed something. For those who are complaining about the service, you guys do realize that you are only paying 8-10 dollars to dine at a clean, beautiful place... I've personally been to fancier restaurants paying $$$ for dinner and service is the same everywhere you go. Maybe I'm just not picky and I understand and sympathize for businesses who are working hard. As mentioned above, food is great! If anyone is looking to try this plate out, then I've definitely recommend their Thai food. They have some of the best curries I've ever had. Nice and rich like how its suppose to be. My personal favorite and the red curry with pumpkins, bell pepper, and Thai basil. I've had their pho before which is also really good. This place makes pho "bac" which means the way they cook their pho is northern Vietnamese style. The broth is full of flavor from all the herbs they stew it with. They do only give you a small plate for your pho so if you think thats too little then just simply ask for another small plate, that's what I do! Highly recommend this place. read more

First and last time I will ever set foot in this establishment! They completely messed up the order, nothing was right. Ordered grilled beef satay and received chicken ordered the mild yellow curry with tofu and vermicelli noodles received spicy curry chicken and rice. We also ordered their coconut shrimp, which we have tasted in the past, and thoroughly enjoyed it, this time the shrimp tasted 3 days old and it was completely soggy not crispy. I went back to them after calling and treated extremely rude on the phone and hung up on, and tried to resolve this at their place of business. I was treated very rudely and told them I wanted a refund, and even went as far as to bring back the incorrect order that they had given me. The manager did not want to refund my money to me and tried to make it that it was my fault that the order was wrong. He finally did refund the $81.60 for the food only to find out that the very next day he went ahead and put through the sales slip and charged me an additional $6 for I have no idea what and added the $20 tip onto it. The people working in this establishment are extremely rude, and are just out to take your money. My neighbor said to give them another try, but after this treatment, they will not get another Penny of my money, and I highly recommend that anybody wanting to try this place does not! read more

This place is a gem located in the heart of Humboldt county. I visited Eureka last month on a business trip for 3 days and was seriously struggling on places to eat. I tried a few Chinese places, a Japanese place, and 2 Vietnamese restaurants. Sadly, that is where the lists ends. I'm so used to the city variety. Anyways, This restaurant is clean, unique, and delicious. There pho tastes like something I would get in Saigon, Vietnam. So rich in flavor you can seriously tastes all the nutrients. Also, my friend who came with me had their spring rolls and coconut shrimp. I tried some of the coconut shrimp and it was really good. Love the actual coconut flakes and spicy special sauce. The owners here are very friendly also. The lady I spoke to was beautiful and polite. She had a gorgeous smile. Pros: Big menu Clean shop Friendly service Cons: Bathroom is slippery The place was hot , temperature wise. This place is a must stop in if anyone is travelling to Portland,Ca from the bay area or SoCal. It's so good!! After a long car ride down to Portland, my family and I yelped a place to eat and this place seemed rather close and convenient since our hotel is only a few blocks away. To be honest, this place can easily pass to be one of the better places to eat in the bay area. Their pho is exceptional. I had the pho tai and asked for it on the side. A small girl like me finished their one size large bowl! My parents shared a red curry (i think it was called pumpkin curry?) and a mango salad and they said it was really good. My dad was sweating like he was running a marathon though. Service wise the waiters were efficient just like a typical Asian joint. Not overly friendly, but they get the job done. I am a regular customer here and the food here is always consistency good. There were a few times where I came in and the service was not too great. But I understand that with a "happening" restaurant such as this one it may be hard for them to accommodate everyone. They have apologize to me a few times because they were short of staff. I think people should also try to understand that this restaurant makes great food and have always made good food. The people who wrote these negative reviews that "claim" to be regulars should also try to understand that no one is perfect. Everyone makes mistake. Oh I do not know why I come eat so good but I read review say disgusting. I been here for five years since the first day they open. Quality is still the same. New location is better because now I have time to relax with family. The only thing is the service lately kind of slower because they short of staff.
