Pho Today is always amazing! When they came out with the mushroom Pho, I fell in love. The Vietnamese Pancake is . Highly recommend.

Been here a few times now, usually always get the pho, but tried the bun bo hue this time. It was phenomenal, the soup base was so tasty & they give you a generous amount of meat. Most authentic one around the area. Really like how they have so many diff varieties of pho as well. Service super fast and efficient. Got to try their durian shake as well as rainbow ice dessert drink. Both were really good (as long as you can get over the durian smell :) Will def come back. read more

This used to be my go to Pho place when it first opened. Good food and cheap. But since Covid.... increase in price during covid is nothing new but they raised it by $3- $4 (regular pho went from 9.95 to 13.95, aggressive move) and they also reduce the portion size (bad combo). Food is not bad but with so many other pho places def not worth it at this point. read more

This was my first time having pho and I was blown away. Incredible and flavorful broth. The spice level was hot and the jalapeños can spice it up nicely. Will definitely be back and will recommend to friends read more

Being new to the area, wife and I were excited to find a "go-to" pho restaurant.  We've stumbled across this place, initially during covid and we would order take out.  We've done take out maybe twice - food was okay, not bad. Fast forward a few months and wow, what a disappointment. Once indoor dining started to kick off, we decided to go dine-in.  Once we arrived, we were prompted to wait 10 minutes.  After 10 minutes or so, two other customers just came to the restaurant and they get seated before we do.   I've confronted the manager (wearing the white collared shirt) and asked why were they seated.  The manager's response was just rude - he smirks and says they are ordering take out, they were seated on a table that was marked "do not sit" for covid regulations.  He pretty much said, "can't you read?"   Okay, fair - we continued to wait.  We eventually got seated and we get seated behind the two customers that is still sitting on the "do not sit" table.  Looks like they are here to stay.  They eventually get their food and eats it there.  They also get moved to a bigger table.   They seem to be friends with one of the employees there.   We continued with our meal and wow their portions are just inconsistent.  Not sure if it was a joke but overall horrible experience. Will be avoiding this place for good.  Plenty of other great phos in the area. Update 5/16/21- to John's response. Yes, originally it was posted to the wrong Pho Today (other review at the wrong location has been deleted before posting this one - please do your research) but my review pertains to the Fort Lee location. This is my honest review and our experience. How the manager on site handled the situation was unprofessional and wrong. The food portion was not consistent. Will be avoiding this location. read more

Great pho! My family enjoyed it. Kura sushi was 2 hour wait so we came here and we were pleasantly surprised!

it was wonderful! i love the flavor of the broth it is very tasty and the way they spice it is very delicious.

Came here three times total mostly due to proximity. I'm not sure it's ran by the same owner from the one in south Plainfield, but I think I like the South Plainfield location better. So far I've tried the pho, ban bo hue, rice vermicelli. The portion varies from time to time. Price is reasonable and customer service is average. I had hair come out from one of my pho bowls (which it was replaced by another bowl) and the other time I had a lip stain on the water cup (which got replaced with another cup) I'm not sure if I came on an off day, but I had subpar experiences not really from the service or the taste of the food. read more

Jets game over. Stayed for the entire game. What does that mean!? Tons of traffic leaving at the same time. Decided to find a place to eat and get out of traffic. ( wasn't worth sitting in hours of traffic ) pulled up my WELP APP punched in Pho. Found one 8 min away from GW Toll booth. Off I went. Found the place in a plaza, let's just say it doesn't have the best curb appeal, but don't let that fool you. Place was pretty busy. I Ordered the "pho today " let's just say it was amazing! The best part was the ox tail. ( keep in mind I NEVER tasted it ) OMG. sooooo good. I hate all my Friends that eat ox tail for not introducing me to it. Everything in this soup is good. 2nd part to this story is that I introduced my Cousin who came to the game with me to pho and he loved it. I guess because of his experience he said he would try it again. 4 stars. read more

I come here with my mom and auntie (and buy a take out for granny) at least 2-3 times per week. Bryan and Daniel are great! The pho with tendon is fabulous. I love their summer roll and sugar cane shrimp. I'm Chinese. I can't stand Chinese noodle soups being so greasy. I love Japanese food. I can't stand ramen being laced with MSG and sodium. This is a God send to Fort Lee! Free parking. Complete with a Dollar Tree and SunMerry bakery in the same plaza. My "hood" just got better because of you! Thank you! read more

I didn't really like the pho, but I love their bun. I used to get the B1 bun that comes with everything but now get the B3 with grilled pork and pork spring rolls. I found the grilled beef and shrimp to be a bit dry. I like all the greens that comes with it. They are pretty quick and if they mess up an order, they will fix it but don't expect an apology. We prefer to get takeout. read more

Would give this place 0 stars if I could. Only went here because Saigon Kitchen was closed on Monday.. do not waste your time or money- GO THERE INSTEAD. Chose this Pho restaurant over many in fort lee because they had a page full of vegetarian options on the menu. Upon our arrival, they break the news that they do not have anything vegetarian- it's not even that they ran out, they simply don't carry them, and their menu is total bogus. They had no seafood broth either, just beef and chicken. They couldn't make fried rice. No veggie spring rolls. I had 6 shrimp and white rice, plain. They didn't even have soy sauce! I was still starving when I left. I was with a group of 8, not a single person enjoyed their meal. The meat eaters said their beef smelled weird and tasted off Wrapping up our dinner it was getting late around 9pm. Instead of giving us the check, they decide to open the back door making all of us freeze. Even the employees were shivering. One of the coldest days of the year less than 5 degrees out, this is how they treat their guests. Both food and service was an absolute disgrace, would never return and never recommend. read more

Currently my togo pho place in town. One complaint is that sometimes they don't have summer rolls because "the guy who rolls the summer rolls isn't available." Otherwise the broth is beefy and comforting. read more

We walked in for lunch today (first day opening) and was greeted very warmly. Host/manager was very nice and answered all my questions on the menu. I ordered the P13 pho (rare steak and meatballs). The broth was delicious and not watery. Noodles were authentic and they had many meat options. My sister had a traditional banmi sandwich and also was very good. Finally some legit Vietnamese food in Fort Lee! We will be back!! read more

Pros: Food at this restaurant is good and authentic. Probably the best Vietnamese restaurant compared to the many other Vietnamese restaurants in the Fort Lee area. Cons: Customer service needs improvement. They brought out our appetizer dishes with missing sauce. I ordered the Deluxe Vermicelli which also was missing the customary Dipping Fish Sauce. We then sat for 15 minutes trying to get the waiter's attention to ask for our check. Two of the workers were wearing earbuds so we couldn't get their attention. He was also sweeping the floor right underneath my chair. We still had food on our table so I thought it was unsanitary for him to do that. This restaurant has so much potential... clean and modern dining room. The food was also very good. I hope they will improve on their customer service and attention to the little details. read more

So I'm not an expert in Vietnamese food.. but what I do know is Pho Today's Bun Ga Nuong (grilled chicken w/ vermicelli & a spring roll) is DELICIOUS! The chicken is flavorful and charred off the grill. The spring roll is tasty & they give a fresh slaw salad on the side. I have nothing to compare to as I've never had any Vietnamese dishes anywhere else but it's awesome to have a place nearby work with some variety as opposed to the pizza, burgers, etc. that we're used to. Take out is always super fast & reasonably priced in my opinion. Definitely recommend :) read more

I've tried a few other Vietnamese spots in Fort Lee and honestly no other spot can compare to this one. The pho broth is super clean and flavorful. It's a tad more fragrant than I'm used to, but it's not inedible. The meat were of good quality and they gave a pretty decent amount of meat in the pho. I also loved that they gave fresh jalepenos with the lemon, basil and beansprouts. The only issue that came up was the portions. My bf and friend got a x-large bowl and I got a large bowl. While I was satisfied with the portion I received (I also don't have a big appetite), they weren't. They left still a little less than satisfied. The servers were also super helpful and accommodating. They told us about the process they use for making the broth. They don't use powders or pre-made broths and they they use only fresh ingredients. You can honestly taste the difference in the broth. read more

I love this place. Been here twice so far and will be coming back often. I eat gluten free so rice noodles are now a part of my life. The bowls of pho here are huge. They provide plenty of meat. The basil is fresh. The beansprouts are plentiful. The broth is flavorful and tastes as great if not better than the pho places I'm used to eating at in Manhattan's Chinatown. Get the pho, you won't regret it! read more

Came here for dinner today. I was looking forward to the grand opening in fort lee and the owners did not disappoint. To start off, the decor is just beautiful. I'm kind of jealous I wasn't the first to review. There is ample parking outside so that's a plus. We were greeted and seated right away. There is a variety of sauces to choose from right at your table. We ordered the pork spring and grilled summer rolls and they were delicious! I would have ordered more if I didn't have an entree. I had the chicken pho and my boyfriend had the beef brisket tendon pho. He loved his and my Pho was delicious. Everything here from the service to the food is excellent. I will be returning tomorrow. :) read more

Very clean and they practice social distancing. The food came out pretty quickly and everything was perfect!

Pho is really good here but the service here is just awful. Staff looks like they hate to be there and it's hard to grab their attention. Took 10 minutes just to try and get the check. I probably wouldn't come back just because the service is that bad. read more

I always come here for their smoothie, it's pretty pricy $7.95 but durian is an expensive fruit and I've had chunks of actual durian in my smoothie so it's well worth it. The bahn mi reminds me of bahn Mis you'd get at china town, simple and hits the spot and love the generous amounts of pate! Minus one star cause I found a hair in my sandwich but it happens. The staff is friendly unlike other reviewers say. I saw upon coming many times they greeted customers to which customers would just breeze past and ignore just fyi. read more

My Vietnamese friends have been telling me about Pho today at another location. They were raving about how good it was. Naturally, I couldn't wait until it opened in fort lee. When my husband and I checked it out, it was disappointing. Soup was not the traditional way which was supposedly cooked with a lot of beef bone. It tasted more like msg. Egg rolls were two tiny pieces. Pork chop rice was ok. The waiter looked like we owed him money or something. The two plates that we had to use were plates that sit below tea cups. So weird. It wasn't even busy when we went so they were out of plates already? Maybe I should go try the other location read more

Pho today is a nice addition to the local area and certainly a good option when you're hankering for a nice bowl of noodle soup. I had the traditional flank, tripe and meatball Pho and my wife tried the seafood Pho and we both enjoyed our food. I will have to note that in terms of authenticity their broth, which is everything when it comes to Pho, is just a bit off the mark. I consider myself a Pho addict and I've been fortunate to have a lot of good Pho from all over the country. I'd give Pho Today a B+ on their authenticity but I'm not such a stickler that I can't enjoy a very good, tasty bowl of noodle soup because I'm comparing it to some standard in my head. read more

Great Vietnamese food. I did go early in the afternoon before 2 is best this place gets packed pretty quickly. I had the pork pho but have also tried the bah mi which is also good as well as the Vietnamese coffee iced is sooo good. It's cheap and fast loved this place. They do accommodate big groups I would ask first again this place gets pretty full very fast. The only problem I had is when you want to order to go they can rush you a bit so if your not specific they can mess up your order . Other than that I adore this place. read more

I was excited to try new pho place in fort lee, but it was very disappointed. Soup base pho was little too salty, I ordered beef on the side P1 pho from the menu. Noodle was way too floury taste. Beef on the side was cut way too thick. It is not tender at all and it was supposed to be filet mignon. Beef was too chewy. Thai ice tea was super sugary! I felt like I was drinking a whole cup of sugar by just one sip!! The cup are so bad. It keeps leaking on the edge of the lid. The only thing that was good it was the coffee. However, service was terrible. We asked for coffee drip by ourselves the server said: "we are very busy, no time for the customer to drip by themselves" omg.. we are not wasting your time, we just want our coffee to be dripped on our own. How are we wasting your time? What does this have to do from you guys being too busy? Whatever! The coffee still came out okay, viet coffee was good even tho it wasn't those traditional drip coffee on our own. Hygiene wise was not so good. Our table and chairs were dirty!! Table was still wet, chair had a huge stains of water or idk what was it. We had to wipe it off on our own. We saw some veggie on our chair that was probably when they were cleaning they let all the garbage drop on the floor... they didn't clean properly. Anyways! Don't think I would come here again. read more

After eating here at least 15 times in the last year, I think it's time I leave a Yelp review. Pho Today is my local go-to for solid Vietnamese food. My order rotates between the bun bo hue, pho, com tam combo, bun, and banh mi (so basically every option on the menu!). I also can't resist getting their spring rolls every time I order, though they'd be even better if they were in rice paper wrappers. Their grilled pork summer rolls are perfect as a lighter option when I want the smokey, flavorful pork but not the heaviness of rice or bun. I also LOVE their papaya salad with shrimp and pork. So refreshing on a humid, summer day. I was so happy when they finally reopened for take out after a period of being closed during covid. Hope they never have to close down again! read more

I was so excited when this place opened up - pretty good but still love my usual spot. Food is decent, kind of disappointed that the pho broth is warm and not hot, and that they only give one spring roll in their vermicelli bowl. Their iced coffee / thai iced tea is a little too sweet for my liking, but if you've got a sweet tooth, go for it ! Service is decent, could do a little better. It's rude to clear the table before your guests are finished dining. Overall, it's a hit or miss with service, but the food is consistent. read more

This new Pho place just opened last week but already it is my favorite place to get a fox of Pho in Fort Lee. I live locally so it's good to have this place nearby. Service is awesome. Food is great. Price is a little bit pricier than typical Pho menu but I guess because of the fact it is in Fort Lee. I like the broth, very tasty. My wife got grilled chicken with rice and she liked it. My friend got grilled pork chop with rice but he said the grilled pork chop size is too small--he was disappointed. The spring rolls are okay but they are very expensive. 2 pieces of spring rolls for just a little under $4 :( Anyway, the durian and avocado shakes are awesome but especially the durian. Prices for smoothies are a bit pricey too. Overall, we had a good dining experience here for first time. I wish they had grand opening promotion to get more people to come in. I also wish prices are lower a little bit. This could've been my go to place a lot of times but I have to think twice because of the price. Have at least a stamp card where when customer buys 5 pho noodle soup, the customer gets 1 free next visit.. same for the bubble tea or smoothie too. Great place! Hopefully they can keep it up. We will definitely recommend and visit again sometime in the near future. read more
