Picked up some kimbab for the road back down from NYC and it was well packaged and tasted great! I love how they also have small portions of fish cake soup (usually never served in a small size like that). They also have Japanese style sushi rolls. We've tried a number of things here - egg kimbap, shrimp tempura kimbap, salmon roll, eel roll, etc. The rolls here are consistently always fresh, always tasty. We have also tried their hot foods - their salmon teriyaki and udon are both very good, standard options as well. We have honestly never stepped foot into this restaurant. It just feels like a great take-out place. We have walked by and peeked inside. They definitely have plenty of seats and it definitely looked quite devoid of people, even during peak mealtimes. Super fast delivery that gets the food here generally in a very reasonable amount of time. As for the food, I've tried a variety of options ranging from bento boxes to sushi rolls to their spicy ramen. I'd say my consistent favorite has been the latter, which pretty much tastes like the world's best instant ramen with some trimmings like egg etc. It's just a really tasty dish albeit not necessarily the most healthy or nourishing but it is still a nice comfort item to have if you like spicy stuff. I've tried numerous kimbap and tteokbokki combo in jersey and this place is hands down the best! It tasted most closest to Korean street tteokbokki. Tteokbokki is not too spicy or sweet, just enough taste of gochugaru. The rice cake was also super soft and chewy. There was generous amount of cheese on top as well. The broth was so good that I was drinking it with my spoon lol. If you haven't tried kimbap and tteokbokki together, I recommend it a go! we got bulgogi and egg kimbap. Both were very filling and tasty. The egg kimbap paired really nicely with the tteokbokki sauce. Total came out to be $26, which isn't bad at all! I've only tried the bobs here but they are pretty good. We usually order in person and the order takes around 10 minutes to complete. Spicy tuna is probably my favorite, followed by spam and then pork cutlet. They are all quite good. The vegetarian one is not bad either, but definitely less flavorful.
