I love this place. The food is always phenomenal and a great deal. I always like how peaceful it is in the restaurant.

Food was tasty and yummy. When you park or if you look from outside looks will be deceiving. Inside the ambience is good not the best but good enough. Staff is polite and nice. They know their menu and provide good suggestions. Food is really nice and cooked to near perfection. I would visit this place again whenever possible. I would love to give extra points to the staff. Well I'm back to update my previous review. Months ago I said the place was getting "weathered" over the years, to put it nicely. but yeah it was getting pretty rundown. Looks like they remodeled the inside which is nice. New flooring, coat of paint and some other things to freshen it up. The parking lot and exterior needs some work but hey it's a start. Food is good as usual. Never had a problem with any meals here, in fact it was very delicious. But there was some problems with things not being available. It was 11:30 am and they "ran out" of the pork broth, seems weird that early. And I heard the waitress tell other customers they didn't have egg rolls, they didn't have this, or that. Seems like A managerial ordering problem. Hope they get it fixed and it was just due to the recent remodeling or supply chain problem. So I moved it up one star. read more

Unfortunately, there is no fireworks for this pho place. I order the Pho Viet Northern Combination. The server brought out the soup but he insists the soup is not our table while we should be the next group to get the noodle soup. He could not find the order is belong to us and he set our soup noodle in the empty table. The manager then verified and brought the soup at our table. Very confusing. By this time our rare beef in the soup is cook through. The soup is in the sweet side. The shrimp is fresh and bouncy. Because they are not located in the pho hub, they have no competition. They can survive the business because far away from the hub. It would not be able to survive if it is located at the Dale Mabry or Pinellas Pho hub. The soup is average. Not the top notch. Generous portions, tasty Pho, and perfectly cooked deep-fried tofu. This was my first visit here, but I'll definitely be back. Easy to find since their sign is huge and noticeable from the street. Once inside this converted Pizza Hut, we were immediately seated at a clean booth. Restaurant was about half full on this Friday at noon, but people came in nonstop. Initial service was a bit slow, as we decided what we wanted quickly, and then had to wait for a server to take our order, but once the order was given he was on the ball. Food came out very quickly, and our appetizer of fried tofu served with chili sauce was excellent. Firm on the outside, soft on the inside. The chicken pho was a huge portion with a flavorful broth, plenty of chicken, and tons of noodles. We did go through most of the small side plate of Thai basil and bean sprouts we were given to share, but the server did offer to bring more. We arrived at around 5:45pm on a Sunday and were greeted immediately by a friendly server who sat us right away. The restaurant is very very clean but smells a bit like the freshener in a urinal. Let me be clear...it didn't smell like urine just those strong fresheners. I couldn't think of any other way to describe it. Not an unpleasant smell exactly but a bit odd. None the less, we ordered summer rolls to start and Pho Ga and the Seafood soup combo. The 2 summer rolls were fresh and served with a lovely peanut sauce. The rolls were very tasty and filled with vermicelli, shrimp, pork and basil. Delightful! There is hoisin sauce at the table which was a nice mix with the peanut sauce! As we waited for our soup, more and more customers arrived. Clearly this is a favorite restaurant. They also care what folks think of the food as they make their rounds to all of the tables. The customer service is exceptional!! The soups arrived accompanied by the traditional plate of bean sprouts, lime, basil and jalapeño . My Pho was chock full of chicken and medium shrimp- at least 10. I considered that to be an ample amount considering I have been to other Pho restaurants where you were lucky to get 4. The soup was amazing! The broth was delicious and the seasonings just right! We of course added the vegetable accoutrement which only elevated that fantastic flavors. You know you have hit a winner when the restaurant is flooded with Vietnamese folks as you eat. My partners soup- according to him- was amazing! A great experience and so happy that we have found yet another great restaurant in Brandon! I was not impressed with the pho I tried. I ordered the basic P1 Pho Viet Special Northern Combination that comes with rare steak, brisket, flank, tendon, tripe and beef meat balls for $8.50. They also offer a larger size for $10.50. The broth was just ok, and all the meats were bland except for the meat balls. Those meat balls were my favorite part of the soup. Half of the rice noodles were stuck together. The Thai ice tea was good for $2.50. The service was nice and friendly. I would come back to try their other dishes. read more

I stopped by for lunch on Friday for the first time. The place is authentically Vietnamese and cook real good Viet Nam food. I'm from Viet Nam and and a foodie. Food and service was excellent. Place is clean and server constantly wiped things down for COVID protection. There were other customers but it was not crowded maybe 20% occupancy. Come here and eat guys. Took 2 stars away for customer service service and wait time. Not sure if they were understaffed or what when I came in but the service was absolutely horrible on Tuesday night @ around 7PM. The restaurant was half empty, and I only saw two working employees on the floor one girl & one guy. When I walked in I stood there for at least 3-5 minutes while I felt like both employees were just looking at me while they worked? Never once greeted...finally I asked if I could seat myself since no one else was? Sat down and it took about 10 minutes (I timed it) for me to get a glass of water and a menu, mind you both employees had walked passed me numerous times. I will say they looked overwhelmed, however dropping a menu off and some water doesn't take much effort. Let me look at the menu while you run around like a chicken with it's head cut off. By the time the guy came to check on me, I already knew what I wanted. Veggie spring rolls, and Veggie Pho. Getting my food took about another 20-30 minutes, thank goodness for phones right? You may be asking yourself why I didn't leave? I considered it but I really wanted Pho and I honestly had no other plans for he evening so I just practiced "Patience" My food came well my "Veggie Spring Rolls" did And all they had in it was lettuce and noodles, no tofu? As the menu stated. WEAK. The peanut sauce was tasty. They also have Sriracha for dipping. YUM. I wish they had the Huy Fong Chili Garlic sauce. Also not sure why my appetizer took so long literally arrived at the table 5 ish minutes before my Pho did. Okay, So I got a super size veggie pho. Not sure if that just adds more broth, noodles, veggies, all the above. It was delicious! Lots of veggies in it, perfect veggie, noodle, broth ratio. This alone was worth my almost hour wait. Having eaten here several times, I can tell you that it is good food for a good price. It is clean, service is always pleasant (don't be in a rush though), and large portions. Pho: Got the "Have It Your Way" we got two servings of Rare steak, the Brisket and the Meat Ball. A little underwhelming I have had much better Pho broth at other places. The brisket, was incredibly good. All of the meat we got in the soup was great, just subpar broth. In my opinion. Beef Stew: This was awesome. I had it with egg noodles. Much better than the Pho. The chicken pho is consistently good with quality chicken chunks, a nice amount of noodles/broth ratio and all the fixings that come with pho. Sometimes the service requires some waving down, but for a bowl of amazing soup, my needs are meager. PS- I generally dislike doing anything in Brandon that I don't have to. This place has experienced different owners in the last few years and in my experience, it is declining and lacking in almost everything but yet, prices are still going up. The tables were not cleaned until we got there on a Sunday night but it wasn't busy, especially with 3 waiters. We waited 5 minutes for our drink order and the waiter was hard to understand even though she was young. She didn't understand that I wanted the young coconut drink and was about to make me a coconut slush so we just opted for water. She took our orders without writing it down and repeated it back to us wrong to which we corrected her and she went about her way and we were worried that she wasn't going to get it right. She came out 10 minutes later with one appetizer and then another 5 for the other appetizer and then 10 minutes later with our pho. It was just everywhere. The prices has increased and it's obvious with the sticker over the old price so that was a surprise. The noodles in the pho were so soft and they were breaking as we picked them up to eat. While traveling in Tampa for the Yankees Spring training and our anniversary we decide to try Pho Vet. What a gem! We started with the eggs rolls rice paper wrapper. The owner told us to wrap the roll in the lettuce on the plate...Vietnamese style - the cold lettuce with the hot egg roll was exquisite. My wife and I shared house fried rice and a large chicken Pho North Vietnamese style. Fresh ingredients, the right salt levels allows the flavor to pop in our mouths. This is a must go to place. Well this was definitely not a good visit. Washed my hands first and to see grease and water coming under the wall into the mens room. That should of been my first indication not to eat here. Placed my order and when vegetables came out, was then told by the server no jalapenos or basil. There is 5 servers here and the place is not packed. They could send someone to buy some to complete the pho as ot should be. Its funny as i look at ither tables and see basil on their veg plates Tasting the food, crab rangoons are SUPER fishy tasting. First time here, we were looking for a Vietnamese place close to the mall and found this. It's interior looks a bit outdated but was clean. We sat down but were not given menu for a while even though the place wasn't busy. Eventually we ordered and the appetizer came out quickly, we got the tofu rolls which were yummy. I ordered the grilled shrimp vermicelli and my partner got the chicken special which both looked delicious. I was pleased with both of our portions, we were basically full for the rest of the day and my partner had extra chicken to take home. I believe each meal was around 10$ and the appetizer about 3$. I thought my meal was okay, it came with 7 pieces of shrimp but something seemed off about the taste. They were cooked completely though so that was not the issue. My partner enjoyed his meal which also came with a side of rice. Overall the place was okay but there are better places out there. The vegetable pho was pretty bland and I LOVE pho. I've gone to numerous places and never had this problem. Also my boyfriend and I both ordered the same vegetable pho but they had different vegetables in each one and mine had pieces of tofu that weren't fried which was odd. I came here about a month ago the actual owner as he explained himself to be was very delightful an provided amazing service Came today and I guess they hired new servers in my case it was an older Asian lady, we get there, the table was very sticky to the point where I can see my hand print left on it. But like 5 minutes later I haven't even ate my soup half way and the "Asian lady server" is cleaning a booth across from us and all I hear is "this is bullshit, he isn't my dad to tel me what to do, if he wants a clean place he should've stayed home." So I asked if she was the owner *I kno I should've just stayed quiet* but it was just rude like you can atlEast wait for me and my wife to leave so u can talk your shit. Wel once I got up I walk out the door and realized I left my keys inside at the table so I went inside and when I go back inside another man get in front of me and starts saying "stop messing w the lady" and the "Asian server lady" proceeds to get in front of me and start waving her hands around like she off some crack or some thing. Anyways i told him I was just trying to get my keys and some dude from the other side of the restaurant kid u not idk if they were family or something but the man walked me all the way to my table no clue why. As I'm leaving again after getting my keys literally all of them are talking shit to me and my wife as we are walking out. So I said "u can atlEast be clean about it and wash your hands instead of getting like this" and I swear on everything I love I'm not making this up this lady responded with "do you now know how Chinese people are" like..........
