Food was amazing! Their beef option is only $1 more but it was really good and good portion too. The prices here are hard to beat compared to restaurants around the area. Recommend Beef Pad See Ew and Beef Salad.

Real Thai food!! The service is always quick and polite. I got Tom Yum that hits the spot when you are getting a runny nose or feeling down! Not a showy place, but the food is so good and get our portions. Very fresh!

Tucked away in a corner of south Lakewood, this restaurant is a wonderful surprise. You don't come here for the decor, just great food at a price that can't be beat! Two people can eat generous servings for $30 and still bring food home. Delightful presentation of entrees. The proprietor gave us a small bag of Asian pears from her yard when we paid our bill. Great food, great service.

Thong Thai Restaurant is a real gem! The atmosphere is comfortable, the staff is friendly and fast. The location is easy to find. Most importantly, the food is absolutely delicious! A couple members of our family have celiac disease, so we're cautious and picky about dining out. This is a trusted place that never disappoints. We actually came here to celebrate 2 family member birthdays. This business is family owned and run. Once you experience the food, it will become one of your favorite places too!

Delicious! This is a small place that can easily be missed, but the food and customer service is wonderful! We placed a to go order and it was ready exactly in the amount of time they said. We ordered the green curry and the Thai fried rice. Both were very good! Full of flavor and the spice level as requested. The only thing to keep in mind is the portion sizes are smaller for dinner to go. If you are feeding a family or more than two people I would order extra food!

The food here is incredible. Very well priced as well. The place is under new ownership and the new owner is doing a great job, unfortunately it doesn't seem like many people know about what a treasure this place is. My wife is Thai and we eat Thai food everyday, so a Thai place needs to be excellent to impress us. This place does. It reminds me of eating home cooked meals at my wife's home in Thailand. I have personally tried the Panang curry, wonderful Garlic, Krapao, papaya salad, fried chicken, and the drunken noodles. All delicious, and I try something new each time I come. Definitely recommend the Thai green tea. It's outstanding. The regular Thai tea is good too. There is also a selection of Thai beer (Singha) and other beers (currently Rainier and Heineken) which are newly available. Also a couple wines. The decor is definitely older, but still has its charm. This is a hole-in-the-wall, but may just become your new favorite spot for Thai food. Give it a try.

Came here because it is close to home and I didn't feel like driving across town. Looked online...prices seemed reasonable. I have driven past this place a million times over the years. It always looked ran down and probably at one point closed. Over the last year or so...there has been some changes in the outside appearance but still very divey. We went with the Spicy Basil Thai Rice with shrimp level three heat. It wasn't bad, but my son did not care for all of the onions and peppers in the rice--or the tomatoes. I love vegetables so it was fine for me. Got the Wonderful Garlic with chicken spice level four. Not bad but level four heat was not very spicy at all. Also got wonton soup...wontons (thick wrapper), shrimp, chicken and lots of cabbage and onion. It was okay...I have had better. Overall the food was just okay--menu prices were decent, although the final calculation seemed like there may have been a slight over charge. The convenience and quickness was definitely a plus. Would I come back? Yea maybe to try some other items. But was I pleasantly surprised...or impressed?--no. Lots of Thai spots in the area, a few of them much better than this one for sure.

As our first stop in Lakewood we decided this was place and we weren't disappointed in the SLIGHTEST! The new owner was such a sweet kind lady and the wife and I couldn't be more happy about how happy she was! She even helped check us out! The food was FANTASTIC, wonderful tasting VISIT THIS PLACE! You won't regret it!

This food was delicious. Super flavorful. Fresh. Super kind and quick service. We stopped on the way between Anacortes and Oregon and I highly recommend it to locals and those passing through. Really good Thai food.

Excellent. I ordered it extra extra hot cause I'm a crazy Mexican and it was perfect for me. Great quality of ingredients and outstanding flavor. I also had the spicy Thai rice to go and it was also delicious. It was a bit pricey for two items but still worth it. It was an excellent choice to check this place out.

I have to preface this by saying I NEVER leave negative reviews; But this was a health/safety issue and I would've definitely gotten sick if I ate their food. I ordered from here on DoorDash, the Tom yum soup with shrimp and papaya salad with "fresh crab meat" on top. The minute I opened the front door to grab my delivery it smelled pretty horrible. I thought, ok seafood, let's see. I opened the papaya salad to get a huge whiff of rotten fishy stench. The "crab meat" on top was actually a bunch of raw, tiny, slimy crab legs. I can not believe the restaurant sent this out. I picked them out to send a picture to DoorDash, and to my dismay, there was a whole Papaya pit and a bunch of the inedible papaya skin in there as well. I am still trying to get the smell out of my house after taking it out to the trash. The soup smelled foul too, so I just had to throw it away because I was concerned about the cleanliness and/or food contamination of the restaurant in general. I apologize for the really gross pic, but that is tiny, slimy, raw crab legs next to papaya pit and shredded skin. So gross. Shout out to DoorDash. They gave me the full credit of the order and had great customer service. I try to order direct from local restaurants because I know third party delivery has a big impact on revenue, but I was starving and this was quick and easy. Needless to say I'll save my credit for another day though, I lost my appetite.

A LOT of life has happened since then, so we definitely had plenty to catch up on. Neither of us had been to Bloom Thai before, but we both love Thai food, so we decided to give it a try. This place is definitely different from any Thai restaurant I've been to before. It's super small, with only a handful of tables. You order at the counter, grab your number, and find a table. They also have a big jug of cucumber water that was so refreshing! They didn't have my usual yellow chicken curry, so I decided to try something completely different--the drunken noodles. I honestly had no idea what I was ordering, but OH MY GOSH... I was in love with this dish! The flavors were fantastic, and they topped it with deep-fried basil. I'm not even kidding when I say I think I've dreamed about that crispy basil every day since! It was SO good! The food was definitely the star of the show for me, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I think this is such a fun little spot to meet a friend for lunch, especially if you want somewhere casual and different. That said, it is VERY small, so I personally wouldn't choose it for a family dinner with a bunch of picky eaters or rambunctious kids. The menu is also a little different than your typical Thai restaurant, so definitely keep that in mind. For dinner, I'd probably order it to-go and enjoy it at home. But for a girls' lunch or catching up with a friend? Absolutely! Great little find, and I will definitely be back for those drunken noodles and that amazing fried basil!

The husband, who was serving, checked in several times to make sure I had everything I needed. The chef also stopped by my table when she came out of the kitchen, which was such a thoughtful touch. The pork belly was very crispy(an additional fee), but too salty for my taste. The Pad Thai was good, although not the best I've had. The noodles were cooked well, and I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce. It did not come spicy, but chili sauce was available to add some heat. The spicy omelette tom yum soup had a great balance of mild spice and sourness, and it tasted very authentic. The texture of the fried omelette after soaking in the soup was not my favorite, but that may come down to personal preference. The Thai iced tea had a good balance of tea and condensed milk, although it was sweeter than I prefer. You order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table afterward. Water is self-service. They also have a helpful sign explaining the ordering and seating process for first-time guests. The restaurant was very clean, nicely decorated, and had a great ambiance. I especially enjoyed the small area showcasing the chef's history and journey. Overall, the warm service and welcoming atmosphere made the experience memorable.

There was a it of a rocky start because they gave our table to another party, which was smaller, so we all were bunched together at the front of the restaurant, which has a tight entry. It was intended for the party of 8. So we didn't have much elbow room to eat. I ordered the golden duck and my partner had basil rice with beef. My best friend ordered a lemon curry chicken that was so good I almost switched our plates. I actually really loved my food too. My partner enjoyed the rice but not the beef. I also had the crab wontons which were super yummy. Everyone pretty much loved what they ordered. They raved about the Thai tea. It truly would have been a five star experience had we been more comfortable. Also, they kind of just forgot about us after they dropped off our main courses. We sat so long without being checked on that none of wanted dessert anymore when quite a few of us were going to order some at first. I'd loved to try it more intimately with less people as they could have maybe just been overwhelmed. Other notes: Not overpriced. Parking wasn't exactly a breeze but I also didn't mind having to walk a bit. It's downtown so it was expected. Very busy, so maybe make a reservation or call ahead? There was outside seating. Bathrooms are not gender neutral. We visited on a Saturday. Happy eating !

One difference with their Bun Bo Hue is they don't add pork blood cake in their version, which is a minor "ding" in my preference. The Pho here is also very good. Like the Bun Bo Hue, the stock they use (stock is much better than just plain broth that many other restaurants use) is rich, favorable, with just the right amount of fat. The spicy / heat level is rather mild, but there are chili oil, chili flakes and Sriracha at each table, so you can add more heat if you want. Unlike many other restaurants, they also bring out little containers of pickled sliced garlic and pickled hot peppers ... the sliced garlic is a great addition to any dish. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is very clean, well lit, and there is plenty of parking. The prices on the menu are more than reasonable when compared to comparable restaurants in the region ... less expensive than most others. The bonus for me was the cream puff that came with the meal. I have not seen that happen for at least 15 years ... it use to be a common occurance whenever you ordered Pho or Bun Bo Hue. All in all, this is now in my top three Pho restaurants.
