We did take a while to order because we had some difficulties finding something we'd like. I ordered a brisket pho and my boyfriend had a chicken with egg noodle meal. There was no music or anything and it almost felt wrong to be talking too loud. We ordered Pho with extra noodles, but the noodles tasted old, and the broth wasn't too flavorful maybe also old. Definitely not what we were hoping for unfortunately. After some while after we got our food, we could hear the owner engaging in a shouting match with one of her cooks which definitely broke the silence. Our waitress was nice and quick to order so no issues there. We did however witness a group of three come in and not get sat for 10-15mins. They then proceeded to seat themselves only to get yelled at by the owner who came out at least another 5-10 mins after that. Had a pretty good pho-king dining experience! The place is easy to find, it's in a strip mall, plenty of free parking. My girlfriend and I were seated almost immediately and our orders were taken shortly after. We didn't have to wait long for our food. My mom, she is a vegetarian. She doesn't like the soup. I asked the stir fried noodles but no meat and added tofu for her. They did not have that. So I ask the omelet for her. I normally only like to give good reviews, but I just have to say something. A lot of the reviews were negative because of the rude service and at first I thought "ah I don't care, as long as the food's good!" But I was wrong :( Usually I don't care how friendly the service is. I don't expect everyone to constantly be cheery. But the service was so rude to the point where it was... uncomfortable. Very uncomfortable. I (a woman) was told to not sit the way I was sitting by staff even though my male friend was sitting the same way and did not get "corrected". The check was brought out shortly after we got our food and was tapped on by staff as we ate as if we were not wanted there and they wanted us to get out ASAP. My little family we're have a good day and we wanted to get Pho from this place entered and they sat us pretty quickly but then this nice old lady came up to us and started getting mad at my 1 year old trying to tell us how to teach our son and our son was just enjoying himself and looking around and baby's will be baby's and make noise and she can up to us at a sassy attitude and she started to yell at us for that problem. The food is great and the service was excellent, the people complaining about them being rude are crazy, the owners were so nice, and sweet, yes there's a language barrier but If you take the time and care about conversation you'd get a nice convo out of these people. Our server was great and very attentive. On a side note asking for egg on pho is ridiculous, that's an American ramen thing. The restaurant is clean, the food is alright and serving size per dish is large enough for 2. Sounds like a college student's dream. We're a family of 4. We ordered egg rolls, beef pho, shrimp fried rice, some egg noodle dish and 2 iced coffees. We received our food fairly fast but got chicken fried rice instead of shrimp. With hungry 2 and 5 year olds, we decided to keep it instead of waiting for the correct dish. The taste of the beef pho broth was alright but the noodles weren't very good (tasted off) and halfway through the bowl, we found some pieces of shrimp shell. The price per dish is a bit high but like I said, each dish is enough for 2 so I guess it averages to be cheap. The iced coffee was really good. Itself deserves 5/5 stars. A hole in the wall in a Bashas shopping center. May be the only Pho place in Flagstaff so it was worth a try. Ordered an order of egg rolls, the 6 pieces of fried shrimp, and an order of spring rolls. You can tell they use the same oil to fry everything by the taste of the fried shrimp and egg rolls, it had a gross after taste. The spring rolls should have more options than the pork and shrimp combined because the pork as gross. They need to just have shrimp, tofu, and other options. Would have been better without the pork for sure as the mint and vegetables inside were very fresh. The we had to try the Pho, you can't mess that up! It was actually very good but they should add on the side some mint but I'm sure you can ask for some. Plate presentation looked as if they just opened, no sense of pride in their dishes. But then again, it wasn't a fancy place but a little love to beautify the food would be a nice touch. Now being in the restaurant industry for decades, I have a HUGE pet peeve, never leave dirty dishes in the table! No one wants to eat around trash and dirty dishes. Will I be back, maybe just for the Pho. I wasn't impressed with the other food unfortunately. I hope the owners read this to get honest feedback. There is a reason why all their patrons were just ordering pho. Hope they can put more love into their other dishes oh and the service was lacking big time. I came here for lunch last week. I ordered the B2 which is Bun, a rice noodle bowl topped with lettuce carrots, an egg roll and grilled pork. It wasn't my favorite. I enjoyed the egg roll, but the grilled pork was a little too salty and also it wasn't warm. Whereas, you can tell the egg roll was freshly cooked. Another thing to mention is that on the window, it's written in marker "CASH ONLY" so I provided cash, but they could not provide a receipt. I went to the cashier to ask for a receipt and they said they cannot give me one, which is very odd. Also, when I went up there, there were several credit receipts, so they do accept credit cards evidently. This was off-putting. Regardless, I'd still like to come in to try their pho.
