Had a very poor experience with their customer service. Called to order food for pick up and when driving there, my car wouldn't start. I called to inquire about delivery to which they promptly said they didn't offer (even though it says it's available on Google) and proceeded to say that they already made the food. That should have been my first sign. I sit down and look over the menu and I order my food and a coffee. My husband and I walked in and were told from the register to take booth #12. We sat there for 10 minutes to watch the one waitress deliver food and bills to other diners while still waiting to get menus. We saw one couple come in with a young child that looked interested in ordering takeout. Came here for the first time and the food wasn't that bad. It's only the sanitary issues I've seen that make this place disgusting. Last time I went there with my friends and my friend had ordered a beef pho. When the food came out it was chicken. She asked the waiter if they could remake it because she doesn't like chicken. So sad, I can see the potential on this restaurant but lacked of customer service slowing the business for sure. They were a regular because the owner knew their order and greeted them. We sat down and I had my 9 month old sitting on the table while my husband was getting my 2 year old situated with a booster seat then high chair for baby. All the owner said was "she probably should sit in a chair" well no duh? Took 10 mins to get water and for someone to even come by. The couple before us, walked in at the same time mind you, got their food and appetizers and we didn't even order yet. No one asked if we needed anything but everyone else did. Another family was asked if they needed a high chair for their kid. I was visibly struggling by trying to hold baby and just getting settled and not even a hello or how are you. However, I don't think we'll be coming back to this place again because we've been turned away twice. The old woman (possibly the owner) would turn us away saying they were "too busy," although half of their tables were open. She would say "We're very busy, can you wait somewhere else for 15-20 minutes?" or it would be "Come back in an hour, we're too busy." We would explain to her that we could wait and it's no problem, but still told us to go elsewhere. The times that we have sat and ate, she was still rude, hardly checked with us, and never made us feel welcome. I wonder how others are still able to tolerate her attitude. The waitress and the owner don't seem to care, both gave us a weird look when we walked in. While we were there more people arrived and were also treated pretty poorly. My wife and I have been coming to this restaurant for a year and the food is phenomenal every time. Today it was communicated to us that there would be a wait, which is perfectly normal at restaurants. Please understand that this is a small restaurant and very close-knit, sometimes there's only one waitress and it's the owner herself and sometimes only one cook. So majority of the time you may be waiting for service or your food but I promise you it's worth it. And the reply we got "we don't have egg here". Egg is a basic add on and they don't have. The price was over expensive for the quality. We ordered a chicken pho, a special pho, banh canh tom thit, a chicken fried rice and the bill came up to almost $100. I would get much more food for this price somewhere else.
