Yooooooo ! This place is delicious, authentic viet food. At first my friends and I weren't sure if it was gonna be good cause they didn't have much veggie options, for example they don't have broccoli in the restaurant. Pretty much the only veggies they had was bean sprouts, purple cabbage and pho leaves. Sometimes simple is better and this place proved that. Yummy yummy pho my tummmyyy. We were only in Housten a few days for work, but next time we're in the area we would love to come back. The Thai iced tea was also great. I just wish they had coconut milk option. Seriously this is the best pho I have eaten outside of Chinatown. Tucked in a shopping center in the middle of an area of town filled with Latin and Mexican restaurants and shops, it's an unpretentious noodle house. A small bowl of pho is $6.19 and it's very filling with bean sprouts, mint and limes. The service is very quick and the prices are reasonable. read more

I stopped in on a work break just to see what this place was like, since the reviews interested me and since I'm up for a bowl of pho like 25 hours a day 8 days a week. It's one of my faves. The interior was clean and had a family-run, hole-in-the-wall feel... which is exactly what it is! Service was a bit gruff, but overall friendly enough, I guess. I ordered the P11 pho and it was out very quickly. And I only paid around $9 for the whole meal including drink and tax! Definitely a steal in terms of price, and good enough for the price you pay. It's true that I have had a few better bowls of pho, though. I did think the broth was lacking in flavor. However, I thought the meat in the pho was very good and tasted very fresh. This is the same owner as Pho 21 off Gessner and Harwin that I go to religiously. Not the same at all. The egg rolls weren't great and were cold and I felt like my vermicelli was all veggies and not enough noodles. My brother got the pho and loved it so maybe the pho is the same as the original Pho 21 but the vermicelli was lacking. The menu is the same though! read more

Yay! I didn't have to drive way out Bellaire. I live close to Meyerland and Pho VN is just a few miles away. Came on a Monday night and there were at least 15 people dining. Signs on the wall say they serve only Kengen water. Okay going to have to google that. They also have smoothies and other bites. Their menu is in English and Spanish. Got the combination pho for myself. I always try the broth before adding anything and it was not it today. Even after I added sriracha, hoisin sauce, veges, salt, the pho was still SUPER BLAND. My egg rolls were crispy but the filling tasted like can meat. It didn't taste like pork. Spring rolls were delicious. Soybean milk tasted disgusting, it tasted like powder. I've been here a few times but it has never tasted like today. So disappointing!!! Nice, casual, no-frills place on Bellaire. I was sick and was in the mood for some steaming pho to clear up my sinuses. We came for dinner and were seated immediately; the staff working there are friendly and helpful. We got the spring rolls and the large chicken pho. The large was really large! For that price, you get a good bang for your buck. The spring rolls were really loaded up too. The pho was pretty good and you could smell the freshness in the chicken broth. Good place for pho- disclaimer, don't have high expectations. There are plenty of seats to handle large parties and groups of 4+. Good service from waiters but after you get food sometimes the waiters don't really pay attention to you while they're cleaning the rest of the restaurant or dirty tables. Pho and eggrolls are great.
