Its worth to visit here only to try banana foster french toast :-) They make french toast with banana bread, and you can enjoy natural banana scent and nuts at every bite. Its very soft too - like how nice french toasts are like. This place does great in baking, because corn bread muffins were perfect too! It comes with 3 different spreads, and they are all nice natural flavors. Pimento omelette is great too - but its very cheesy, so you might want to order something that can wash out strong cheese flavor time to time. If you are pimento cheese lover, this is a go-to menu for you :-) Staffs here are awesome too! But keep in mind that you might need to join the wait list at least 1 hour early before your desired visit time on weekends. I joined at 10:30 am and was able to get in around 1pm. read more

Had a party of 5 there for a birthday celebration. Everyone loved the food. Two of us had the Chili Rellano stuffed with scrambled eggs and topped with chorizo cheese. The sauce was amazing. This a great spot, especially for a vegetarian who doesn't exactly prefer egg dishes. I had checked in online and showed up right on time but our table was still not ready, we also had a toddler in the party and we waited probably another 10 or so minutes however once we were seated, the server brought a coloring page with crayons and was super interactive with the kid as well as the adults. Service was extremely fast considering it was packed and there was a constant influx of people, our needs were heard and addressed. We ordered a carafe of mimosas, shrimp & grits and a smoked beet wrap with tater tots. I was very impressed with the smoked beet wrap, it was warm and filling. The shrimp & grits looked different than what it usually is but the dish was pretty good too. Overall, the place was great, it was nice to see that Phoebe's diner came to the Gracy Farms location which previously had two or three other restaurants that did not survive for too long. Outstanding every time I've visited. Servers are always kind, the food comes out really quickly, and it's SO flavorful. I've only gone on weekends and it's always packed, but somehow there's never a wait for a table, I can always choose where to sit and food and drinks come out at a more than reasonable pace. I had been wanting to try Phoebe's for a while and wow, I'm glad I finally did. Chile Rellenos was absolutely delicious. The warm smoke and light creamy flavors danced together very well. The coating of the rellenos wasn't traditional, think more thick bread crumb, but not too think; super crispy despite the ranchero and crème on top. The balance of this dish was phenomenal. With the crispy potatoes on the side, this dish was HUGE and I couldn't finish it. I didn't think it would take away/rewarm well and unfortunately left the rest, so I would suggest splitting this with someone at the table and maybe sharing a few pancakes as well. My only minor complaints are that the music is very loud, parking is difficult, and the potatoes lacked flavor. I added salt, but it didn't do too much for them. However, the relleno genuinely made up for those minor things as well as the quickness. From ordering to table was about 8 minutes; considering how packed the place was - total win. I wish I snapped a photo, because it was also plated very beautifully. 10/10. I'll be back. read more

Today was our first time at Phoebes Diner. Everything on the menu sounded so good but the pictures of each of the meals helped me decide what to get. I got the chicken fried steak with sage gravy, which very different and some of the best gravy I've ever had. It was paired with asparagus and red roasted pi which was also great. Just like its sister restaurant downtown, this location serves up the same delicious food, served by an energetic and friendly staff. I've been to the newer Gracy Farms location several times now and they're always consistent. It's very refreshing to find a dinner that really does it right. They are open from 7 am to 3 pm so the menu is focused on breakfast and lunch. I think the owners have done a great job of allowing a good variety of options without making the menu overbearing. I had the chili relleno which is stuffed with a delicious egg and cheese mixture and a half order of biscuits and sausage gravy. True to its name, bacon IS badass! I had coffee which was perfect and they kept my cup filled without waiting, he had a Bloody Mary. He said it was ok. Not too big, too small. I tasted it and seemed to be a bit too sour for me. Loved the habanero hot sauce they had- red and green. They have a few Mexican items on the menu but given that they have taco deli next door- they aren't trying to compete with a neighbor. Glad this restaurant in my neighborhood and hope they stay.
