I called them up and explained the situation about my air conditioner being broken and that I was looking for a fix until I can get enough money to replace the system. I took my car to them and when they checked it out, they mentioned that I shouldn't need to replace the entire system (opposed to what Meineke and pep boys told me), and that only the expansion valve and dryer needed to be replaced in it. Wonderful. They saved me so much money (upwards of $1200+ easily). The staff is wonderful. There is always a friendly atmosphere whenever I go there. I refuse to take my car anywhere else now. If I need something, I'm calling them first.

I noticed too that even when Bobby, the owner, isn't in the shop, his employees still check-in on me while I am waiting for me work to be done. The last time I was there, I had to wait half an hour or so for a part to come in. While that employee was taking care of that, another one came and asked me if I was doing okay and being helped. That's really good service, and it's nice that he thought to do that even while his boss was not there to see that. I don't know if they still offer this, but when I first starting using Leading Edge Auto last year, they offered a warranty through TechNet (which I did use once.) Definitely my mechanic of choice.

It's a foreign car, so it took a couple of days getting parts, but they expedited the repairs and we were back on the road in two days. Making an appointment was fast and easy and customer service was great up to this point. So far so good. I made my appointment for 8am for a diagnostic and was told i could expect to hear something back around noon. After not hearing anything, I called close to 1pm and was told my car was next for service. When 4pm came around and I didn't hear anything I called again only to find out my car still wasn't looked at. At this point I was told to expect my car to be kept overnight but only because I asked about it. I was pretty frustrated considering I had an early appointment, all I needed was a diagnostic and for the simple fact I had to call for all updates not to mention having to now coordinate a ride home. I called again first thing in the morning and was then told I would have answers around 9. I was convinced then that my car wasn't looked at, at all the day prior. I did get a call shortly after 9 and I was apologized to and did get the answers I needed on my car. When I picked up my car, they were super apologetic and assured me this was not the normal way they conducted business. Because of the inconvenience, I was not charged for the diagnostic. While I was thankful, I was really disappointed with my whole experience. I understand things happen but good communication makes all the difference. Maybe my case was really just a one off, but this trip made me want to take my business elsewhere.

I had a hundred questions and they never got impatient or short with me. They also worked closely with my insurance adjuster so the whole process went very smoothly and with little to no stress. Took about a week and a half to two weeks to get my van back and it's as good as new. They didn't leave anything gross in or on my car, in fact I'm almost 100% sure they vacuumed it!
