The FloriBama area has great food, but the majority is American fare - seafood and steak restaurants. After a few days of eating the same kind of food with loud obnoxious live music amongst the beach going crowd, Phoever was a nice much needed change! The owners are friendly, the prices are reasonable but most importantly the food is delicious. We will definitely be back. read more

I don't ever leave bad reviews, but I would not go to this place. I walked in at 7:50 because the Internet says they close at 8:30, and their menu says they close at 9 PM. Turns out they close at 8:00pm. I've worked in the industry, I would never show up at the end of their shift, but I'm in there with my daughter, four years old, and they were super rude, and told me that I could only do takeout. I would gladly have tipped them 100%, but they were complete d**ks. Take it for what its worth. read more

In my opinion, best Pho in Pcola... However, I also didn't come across any others - nor did I look. No need to look any further any way because Phoever is great! The food is great, I even tried the chicken wings and they were pretty good - just not where you want to go if your strictly wanting chicken wings. Only a good app. The egg roles and spring rolls are amazing. The Pho is my main subject in the review and worthy of 5 stars for my Pensacola standards. I thought the broth tasted great and everything else you add to it was very tasty. If you need a hot bowl because you're under the weather, or it's a rainy day or you just want some Pho - check them out. read more

I'll begin by saying the taro boba is AMAZING! Order one :) The passion tea, and thai tea are also yummy. I think I've tried most all the boba places around Pensacola, none compare to Phoever. On to the pho: ~Veggie pho is amazing; the broth is just right and never too salty. I order extra jalapenos and sprouts. ~Spring rolls are good. ~Veggie rolls are crispy and flavorful. Amazing! Delicious Pho. I got the p.13 the vegetarian pho with fried tofu and the fried veggie spring rolls. I got my order for pick up, it included everything I needed, i.e. sriracha, sweet chili sauce, eel sauce, silverware, and napkins. That's a big deal. Nothing more frustrating than getting home, going to eat your meal and they left something out. I highly recommend! read more

Though we have only eaten at Phoever around ten times we have been served generous portions of piping hot food and very cold beverages. Service can be a bit slow from kitchen and wait staff depending upon crowds but never excessively slow. Store is spotlessly clean; we have not had occasion to use restrooms so I can not rate them. read more

This is the sanitized version of Pho. I certainly can't say it was bad, but it was on the somewhat bland side. Kinda what you expect with Amish foreplay. Firstly this area has Vietnamese restaurant row off of Pace Blvd. there the real deal, the Pho's are about $2.00 cheaper and are full flavored. There Pho's broth is kinda watery, kinda bland. The Pho's content is a nice array of beef round eye, but you need to order extra meatball and onions to substantially improve the pho. Phoever will do great attracting people who work in the area, fast simple food, my concern is they won't attract the person who love Vietnamese food. I hope for the best! read more

To be transparent, in my opinion, a really good bowl of ramen is far better than a great bowl of pho. That being said I have not yet found a really good Raman ya in Pensacola so that makes Phoever the best noodles in town. read more

My mother and I had lunch today during their grand opening day. Boy was it chaotic! The servers were very new and could not handle the lunch rush hour. But they did their best with help from customers. Everyone, especially the customers, were very patient and understanding. This is probably the second time that I went to a Vietnamese restaurant's grand opening day. So I knew it would not be smooth or as fast as we may want it to be. The food especially our small pho dac biet (P1 Phoever special) was really filling and tasted very nice. The broth was seasoned well and had plenty of meat topping. I also ordered their goi cuon (fresh spring roll) which was average in my opinion. But the peanut sauce was great! I will definitely try this place again for their banh mi and flan! read more

This a very basic Vietnamese restaurant. They have Pho, Banh mi, and drinks. Maybe they will expand their menu later on? It took me be surprise that they did not have Viet coffee, but they do have Thai Tea with boba. I got their steak pho, which was pretty tasty. The broth was a little salty, but had good flavour. A large was 9.95 for a good amount of food. Every order of pho gets its own mini plate of basil, bean sprouts, and a slice lemon or lime. Service was good. The servers were attentive and the food came out quite fast. read more

This is the best Vietnamese beef noodle soup so far!!! Very authentic, and fresh. Normally, a lot of store will have the noodle pre-cooked, so when they serve, the noodle all stuck together, but here, seems everything is fresh made, the soup is very clear, the beaf is fresh, and noodle are all separated!!! Found it by accident - and had a wonderful lunch. It was so good that we ordered pho to take home, then was pleasantly surprised that Phoever provides the broth and the content (noodles, seafood, etc.) separately, so it can be freshly heated/combined at home. What a nice restaurant!! read more

Burnt meat in my fried rice.. although the other meats aren't burnt, they have a burnt taste to them.. Hubby usually gets Pho that has everything (P1) and he wasn't impressed.. He said it tasted like the soup is only seasoned with salt.. but I like that they have the noodles and soup option since that's all my kid eats.. we got mango, strawberry and watermelon smoothies with boba and they were all good.. read more

My husband informed me of this restaurant. Its new, located in the little strip shopping area on Sorrento rd near Hershey, sonic, etc. I personally have not been to this place but have ate some of the food my husband has purchased. He got the pho to go. The broth came in a large container. The meat he got was the meatballs and brisket. The food was really good. The broth was delicious. He also got the eggrolls. Those were tasty too. I will definitely try this place myself. read more

I went to this restaurant because a friend of mine recommended me to go because the food was very delicious. I ordered their pho dac biet, combination bahn mi sandwich, and the spring rolls. Pho was ok. Small bowl was just the right size Bahn mi Do not go here to order them. Bread was fully toasted as it's not supposed to be, should be a little crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I had a gut feeling to not order it here.. as you should only order it from the Vietnamese bakeries!! Maybe I'm picky because I grew up in southeast Asian communities on the west coast. read more

About what I expected and the portions are pretty good sized. The day I went, I wanted to try the bahn mi but they were sold out. There's nothing overly great but nothing bad about this place. The staff is very friendly though and they do a military discount if anyone is interested. I'd say if you are looking for a solid pho/soup there is no reason to not stop in. read more

Three people ordered bowls of pho, and we also ordered spring rolls. Our waiter forgot to put in the spring roll order entirely. We had to ask him several times about them, and by the time we finally received them, we ended up taking them home. Between the bland pho, bizarre meatballs, terrible spring rolls, and poor service, this was easily one of the worst Vietnamese restaurant experiences I've had. Don't waste your money. There are much better places to get Vietnamese food. I would never go back and absolutely would not recommend House of Pho.
