    Natural Oxtail Pho Gluten Free
    Scarlett H.

Can't believe I haven't written a review about this place! I've come here for close to 10 years on and off. And over the years, I think they've improved and added more items to their menu. I don't know if they can count as a cheap eat, but it is really affordable and the quality is quite good. My favorite item is your natural oxtail pho! Only a few Vietnamese places offer this dish and I think there's is one of the best! If you're a meat eater, or if you like fall off the bone, short ribs, then this is the dish for you. We've also tried their Wagyu beef pho and liked it too. Very tentative service, though they are always busy with lots of takeout orders, they remember to take care of the dine in customers. A very small and casual place, the ambience is relaxed and day-to-day bistro. It's a great restaurant for this neighborhood (Palms, Cheviott Hills ) and I hope they keep doing good business here.

The after math of the food but the presentation before was great:)

Was here with my boyfriend and everything took 10 mins or less to receive our food and drink. Semi casual setting and very great portions for pricing as well as service! Shout out to Silvia and Diana!

Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Lemongrass Noodle Soup with Beef, Pork and Cha Lua)
    Anthony T.

I appreciated the quick service and being able to support a vietnamese restaurant out on the Westside. The Bun Bo Hue was solid- good amount of spice and beef bone flavor, with plenty of meat. The only thing I might change is to slice the meat a bit thinner and add more noodles. I also liked the pork vermicelli bowl - light and the meat was perfectly marinated and cooked! Wish that the fish sauce had more oomph to it, but it helped to add lime and sambal. Definitely recommend if you need something to satisfy a craving for viet food, although it doesnt really compare to food found in Little Saigon.

    Vegan Pho Gluten Free

Tasty broth and fun promotion on DoorDash. I loved the depth for a vegan broth. The tofu that comes with the vegan pho is fried. I didn't see any unfried options on the menu. Sometimes it's too heavy and the crunchy texture isn't always needed. I'd order again and not get tofu.

Was craving pho in the morning so decided to give a local shop a try since it was within 10 mins of walking distance. I'll say it was one of the most disappointing Pho I've tried in a very long time and I expected better. Pho's most important part - broth. It had a slight funky sourness to it with no in-depth flavor. Nothing screamed of broth boiling over night nor did it taste traditional. Not even close to even a modern Pho restaurants. The shop is rather small and its most definitely not a traditional pho, but an interesting twist to it. Imo not to its benefit. Also, it took about 25 mins for it to come out where usually it takes 5 MAYBE 10. Positives: Oxtail fell off the bone and tendons great giving it 3 stars.

One of the worst pho broths I ever had .... Tastes like dishwater .

No salt on 3! 3-2-1 , salt tha pho! Salt the pho! Never have I ever had pho broth that was so absolutely tasteless. It was like slurping mildly acidic water. The broth carries the pho-- without it , it's DOA. Okay the Wagyu beef brisket is fine and all, but when it basks in the broth it's gonna absorb more flavor. No addition there either so subtract a couple stars. I mean you can tell the line cook didnt give a tittle if he's gonna give me old and expired crusty sriracha sauce. Wonder how I know? The paste was like a sickening brown hue instead of vibrant blood red. Must have been like over a year old bottle. No excuse me while I go forage for an actual decent meal as whatever it is it won't be here .

    Chicken Clay Pot

Visited on a Saturday night. The restaurant is tucked inside a small business plaza with a few parking spots and some street parking nearby. The vibe inside was pleasant and we were greeted by a friendly waiter. He recommended three dishes: the Imperial Rolls, Chicken Clay Pot, and Wagyu Beef Pho. They all sounded great, so we went with his suggestions. Food arrived fairly quickly. The Imperial Rolls were delicious and crispy, but the portion was surprisingly small, just two rolls. The Chicken Clay Pot was also on the small side, with a single chopped chicken breast served alongside a bowl of rice. Unfortunately, it was too heavily on salty-sweet sauce, overcooked chicken, it's just ok. The biggest disappointment was the Wagyu Pho. It came with only two slices of Wagyu and two slices of regular beef, and the broth was watery. It completely lacks the rich depth you expect from a good pho. On the bright side, the service was friendly, so maybe I just caught the kitchen on an off night.

Cute little Pho spot in palms/culver area. The service is very good and Anani is very welcoming. The food is consistently good, definitely check this place out!

Portion of meat that was a waste.

My wife and I have ordered the Natural Pork Vermicelli with Imperial Roll from Phorage over five times, always through Uber Eats since we prefer enjoying our meals at home. While we truly enjoy the flavors and concept of their dishes, the consistent quality control issues have become impossible to overlook. Out of those five orders, four had major problems -- wilted or old lettuce, burnt meat, or some other sign that the food wasn't prepared with care. The final straw was our most recent order, where more than half the meal was just fat. Absolutely gross and inedible. It's disappointing because the food could be great if they maintained consistent freshness and quality. Unfortunately, after giving them multiple chances, we're done. We're now on the search for a better alternative that respects customers enough to deliver what they promise.

This has to be the worst pho in town. The taste of the chicken pho has drastically gone down hill and has an overly salty and fish sauce taste. It's so bad no amount of water to dilute the taste helps. Overall I was only able to have a few bites and the rest was wasted. Service is good and the team is attentive. Just the food has gone drastically down hill over the years.

How sure are you that the French Baguette for the Banh Mi is vegan? I called before you answered my question and one of the employees said it was not.

Sorry just saw this ... but that employee was Misinformed ... the bread contains water flour yeast salt.

Can the Banh Mi be made vegan if you don't add the mayo? I wasn't sure about the French Baguette, since I know that some places have ones that contain milk in them.

Yea it is vegan if you remove the mayo ... the bread is a true french baguette and does not contain milk :)

Kalguksu, 17, bibim nengmyun, and 25. Beef bulgogi. Everything was out pretty quickly and everything was delicious. The beef bulgogi was good but nothing too special. Sweet and savory with plenty of onions and served on a hot plate. My dad has been to Korea more than a dozen times and says that this bulgogi isn't close to as good as he's had, but that the noodles were very good. He says this bulgogi could be more Smokey, with a grilled flavor. I've probably had better bulgogi around as well so probably wouldn't come just for it, but it was nice to have a dish with rice in addition to the 2 noodle dishes. The kalguksu was my favorite. Very savory and the broth was so good. The other 2 dishes came with little bowls of extra broth as well. Inside the kalguksu was 3 dumplings (yum), some well seasoned ground meat (yum), and very good al dente noodles (yum). The spicy cold noodles were also good. I typically prefer the cold noodles that come in the slushy broth but my boyfriend prefers this spicy one! It had fresh veggies, a slice of Korean pear, an egg, and a lot of delicious sauce that ended up not being too spicy. The red kimchi was more spicy than the noodles! You order at the counter before finding a table, which made everything feel efficient and relaxed. We ordered the pork belly bun, Taiwanese popcorn chicken, pan-fried pork buns, beef noodle soup, and Hakka mochi. The MVP of the meal was undoubtedly the Taiwanese popcorn chicken. It was honestly better than many versions I've had in Taiwan, and I've had plenty. The chicken was crispy and crunchy without being greasy, and the meat stayed juicy rather than drying out. If you come here, order this. The pork belly bun was my personal favorite. The braised pork belly practically melted in my mouth, and everything was seasoned beautifully. Simple, balanced, and incredibly satisfying. The pan-fried pork buns were the only disappointment. The filling felt underseasoned, and the bottoms lacked the crispy crust I was hoping for. They were fine, but not something I would order again. The beef noodle soup was solid. The broth was excellent, with a depth of flavor and spice profile that I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, the beef shank was overcooked and a bit too dry (乾) for my liking. For dessert, we had the Hakka mochi. It was served warm, pleasantly chewy, and not overly sweet. It was a nice way to end the meal and made me curious to try some of their other desserts next time. This was overall a fantastic meal. Not every dish was perfect, but the highlights were memorable enough that I'll gladly return. The popcorn chicken alone is worth the visit.

A great spot near the Crypto.com arena!…read more Despite the line, we put in our orders at the counter and got a table fairly quickly. We shared the dan dan noodles, the 3 cup Jidori chicken, pan-fried pork buns, and cucumber salad. I also got the soy milk, which I believe is made in-house. The food came pretty quickly and arrived before our drinks, in fact. The cucumber salad was fresh, and the cucumbers had a nice crunch. I liked the flavor of the chicken, but I thought it a bit on the dry side. The dan dan noodles and pork buns were excellent, however. The noodles were flavorful and had an enjoyable chew. The pork buns were tasty as well and filled with juicy meat. I also really liked the soy milk. It wasn't too sweet, and it had a nice thickness. The staff was friendly. The restaurant is a casual spot with a self-serve water station.
