Heard this place is very popular in Vietnam, and it was poppin here (Crowded). It seems that they got their service issue fixed because there were a good amount of staff members working and they moved pretty quick despite it being busy. Lots of tables and small tiny chairs/tables makes it feel like you're in Vietnam. Great place to take your Vietnamese parents who were born in Vietnam to make them feel at home. Ordered the Phuoc Long Milk Tea and the Peach Black Tea. The milk tea was very smooth and light, and the peach black tea is pretty good as well, they put real peaches in the drink and as a strong sweet peach taste. They do have a public restroom but you need the code to enter. Menu is decent and limited. Order #27 blended Oreo lover because I love Oreo without asking any recommendations. When you order, you are given a pager and it will buzz when it's ready. After waiting for over 10 minutes, finally got my order. Was it worth the wait? No. $6 for regular while other places have something similar but it's good and it taste like Oreo. This is ok but it's bland. Don't be fool by the Oreos because you are given one actual half Oreo piece and it's been broken in half to make it looks like you are given two actual Oreo pieces. I stopped by here after having several drinks at Aum Beer House and I was impressed by the decor and design of the interior! The inside went all the way to the back and I was surprised how big the place was. Phuc Long is a chain based in Vietnam and this is their first US location and I had heard many good things from my family back home about how strong their drinks are and how good they were! I was excited to try out one of their drinks when I stopped by! After looking through the menu, I decided on the blended matcha drink. Everything here is made to order and service was excellent and fast. I only waited a few minutes for my drink and it was around $5-6 dollars so the drinks aren't too cheap here but the quality is very good. My drink was delicious and as a big fan of matcha, I loved how much matcha flavor I could taste from my drink and it wasn't too sweet which I enjoyed. I am for sure coming back in the future to try one of their coffee drinks as I have heard great things about their coffee. Parking here is pretty easy to find since it's located on Main St in old town Garden Grove with lots on both sides and loads of restaurants/bars to check out as well! Scam artists, absolutely understand the negative reviews. The manager working the register upgraded my drink to a large and charged me extra without me asking. Asked for light ice and they only filled half of my large cup. Asked a staff member where the rest of my drink was and they replied "it's 50% ice." Apparently 50% ice means 50% drink (photo for reference). Coffee tasted like instant coffee with milk. For what I paid I could have gotten real and better coffee elsewhere like Da Vien or Trung Nguyen. At least those places won't scam you like this place does. During the summer, my top picks are the Peach black tea and lychee lotus tea--both smell fresh, have a relaxing taste, and aren't overly sweet. The tea itself is exceptionally strong. I adore their Olong milk tea, which is strong, tasty, and not overly sweet. Both cold and hot options are great. The space is quite spacious, making it great for large group gatherings. I went here on a busy Monday and had really high hopes. I ordered the cookie coffee, blueberry muffin and Vietnamese house coffee. I waited about 30 minutes for my order and had my buzzer in hand, only to find out the poor guy lost my ticket, or did not remember my number and couldn't buzz me. Our drinks and pastry had been sitting for over a whopping 20-25 minutes. Then I was walking out and realized I paid for a peach tea and did not get it. Great drinks! I had the blended coconut Vietnamese coffee and was seriously impressed. The coconut flavor was not overpowering. The Vietnamese coffee is so bold that it paired really well together. We also tried the lychee tea which had whole lychee's in it. The price is higher than most other shops in garden grove but you are getting a better drink. I love their green milk tea a lot! And that is the only thing I would get. The down side is that they use condensed milk for the drink so the lowest sweetness would be 40% which is still very sweet to me. If you ask for no ice, it is actually just less than half a cup that they will give you. I understand that is the measurement of the drink but less than half a cup full for no ice is a little sad. I would hope no ice would be like 60-70% full since 1/3 ice is for a typical recipe in most places ( I worked at a boba place). read more

I had PL in VN years ago. It's one of my fav Viet coffee brands. It was a surprise to see them hitting the US market before TN. I enjoy their style of Viet coffee because it has a stronger taste. There's a slight difference in flavors compare to what I had in VN, but still good enough for me. This location is super clean, modern, efficient, and the staff are friendly. Plenty of lounging areas with different mini themes throughout the place. Parking may be a bit of a hassle during busy hours as there's only a small area on the side and a few spaces in front of the shop. The almond cookies are nicely baked with a perfect crunch and sweet level. It tastes more like a cracker than a cookie which I also enjoy. I came here on a Sunday, during farmer's market, and wow! This place is really clean and there are tons of tables inside AND in the front and of course, there were so many plants, I loved it. Haha. As I was walking in, I noticed that there were so many people just hanging out on a Sunday brunch hour, though they don't serve much food (about 4 items) and the rest is just different teas, coffee, and blended drinks you can order. I ordered #15 which is lychee jasmine iced tea and ask for not too sweet and when I received the drink, omg! It comes with whole lychees in the tea, so ask for a spoon if you want to scoop it out while drinking it or if your are like me, I'll take my time finishing the drink while the ice is melting and just take off the lid and pour the lychees one by one into my mouth, I love getting another treat at the end of my drink. The total was over $7 with tax and for a regular 16oz cup, it's expensive. Been to the location a couple of times now. Can notice a big difference in the drinks from their location in Vietnam and the OC location. For some reason, I tend to enjoy the drink more at the OC location even though they originated in Vietnam. The drink in Vietnam definitely doesn't taste as delicious as the drinks here. The usual order is the peach milk tea which is creamy with a hint of peach flavor. They seem to have gotten this drink right as it is the go to drink everytime I visit the coffee shop. Then we ordered 2 longan jasmine tea ... after 30min we got the cloudy jasmine tea ... brought it to the cashier to have our drinks fixed. It turned out the cashier got our order wrong. It was fine again, everyone made mistake. But they were quite rude and short about fixing the order. They said we had to do to the refund and reorder. Had a pleasant experience here. The workers were very friendly and helpful. We ended up trying the coconut coffee and the matcha ice blended drink. The coconut coffee was good, but a bit of a warning; it is pretty strong compared to other places that have a similar drink. The matcha ice blended was good, not too sweet but not bland either. The shop is very nice and cozy on the inside, enough seating to hang out with your friends or a cute little coffee shop date.
