This was honestly one of the worst pizza experiences I've had in a while. The food quality was already disappointing. The crust tasted dry and old, the toppings were minimal, and the cheese looked and tasted cheap. It felt like the pizza had been sitting out way too long instead of being made fresh. What really made it worse though was the staff. The employees seemed untrained, unprofessional, and completely uninterested in helping customers. No greeting, no basic customer service, and just overall low effort attitudes. It felt like nobody cared whether the food or the experience was good. When you combine bad food with bad service, there's really no reason to come back. There are plenty of better pizza spots nearby with fresher food and friendlier people. I've just had the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life. I called and I want to order her large meat Lovers pepperoni pizza . Since she was having difficulty understanding English I asked to speak to someone else she said no one else would. I called back and she hung up on me. I call back three more times and she hung up on me I was so furious by the time I called up at 3:00. I asked her what size was the large pizza she called out too some who also worked there, her answer to the size of a large pizza was 14 times 60. I said you are not making sense. I Asked it's it14 inches. Shin she saidit id 14 time 60... Ugh. So I then said well give me a 14-in pizza. She said we don't have14 inche pizza. I just hung the phone up. Piara Pizza is fair. It is on par with Little Caesars. $5.50 for a large pepperoni pizza. I did order one topping (for an additional 1.50) but the green peppers were chopped in little pieces and sprinkled on top, which seemed a bit odd. The staff were very friendly. My cashier didn't know about the Yelp check-in, but the other cashier did and was helpful. The standard is the pepperoni pizza, and if you want to add other toppings, the wait time is 10 minutes. Passed by this place twice and noticed their "now open" sign. I'm always down to try new spots so i decided to go one morning to check this place out. The inside looks so nice (pics given). Everything looks new and not run down like the other businesses in that shopping area. The two employees were very nice and informative. I ordered a Pepperoni pizza and their breadstick combo. I was thinking the pizza would be like little Caesar's because of the similar pricing but i was wrong. I think the taste was much better. It's much better than little Caesar's (especially up the street on Peck Rd). Even when i got home the pizza was still warm and tasted fresh. The cheese didnt solidify or have to chew on it hard like other places. The breadsticks were just as great, nothing fancy, just good ole sticks with dipping sauce. The pricing is fair and it tasted great to me so I give this new place props. Let's hope it can get more business considering the bad area it's in. Next time I'll try their wings. read more

I used to come here often back when I lived in El Monte, and moved a year and a half ago. It was really great when it opened for about 3 years. I recently moved out of El Monte & came back here today because I was in the area, and this place has really gone downhill in terms of pizza quality. Just didn't taste the same anymore. I ordered extra sauce and they definitely did NOT add extra sauce. They charge extra for extra sauce now by the way. Ordered here for years before and unfortunately that has changed. Had the audacity to charge me $2 per pizza for extra sauce & didn't even provide extra sauce. Very expensive, that's more money than adding extra meat at other pizza joints. Crust isn't as soft as it once used to be. Chain is barely a step up from Little Caesar's anymore. It really is a toss up on the type of person you'll talk to when you order via phone. Some don't speak english well, others are just really dumb and don't know what I mean when I ask for garlic on the crust. Sad to see this place in such a state of disarray as the chain really does usually sell great pizza. Won't be coming here anymore, could've just got Alberto's across the street and been much happier. read more

I ordered from here for the first time and I can say Im not impressed at all. I was quite tired of little caesars and the reviews make it seems like its above average but to be honest its mediocre at best. I bought a normal pepperoni pizza and a custom with pepperoni and sausage. Both pizzas were topped with the least amount of toppings possible. I paid an extra 3$ for almost nothing worth of sausages. You'd think that if they were charging 3$ for a topping itd atleast be a decent amount but no. I don't know if this is a one time thing and they ran out or something but its unacceptable for a 13$ pizza... Id rather spend 6$ at little caesars and actually enjoy some pepperoni with sausages for an extra 1.50 rather than an empty slice of bread for 13$ read more
