I've wanted to try this place for a while as I've heard really good things. I finally was able to stop in with my husband. The place was busy, but the service was very quick. To drink, I tried the Rum bucket which was perfect as it wasn't super sweet. My husband had beer. The appetizer selection had a lot of options, but we decided to try the poutine. It was so good! For dinner my husband ordered their stuffed meatball sub. Hands down one of the best meatball subs I've ever tasted. So good. I had the clucking pig which is a chicken sandwich with marinara sauce, basil, provolone and bacon. That was delicious as well. Megan was our server. She was so friendly! She explained all the points ( I always sign up for loyalty programs) she was patient with the "what's good" questions. She kept out drinks filled. Omg the food was awesome. I ordered the buffalo dip and meatball apps. The dip wasn't crazy spicy just enough to give it a kick. The tortillas weren't salty. The meatballs are fantastic. Started with the tenders, seasoned and cooked extremely well with plenty of sauce options on the side (Buffalo was good and I would definitely recommend trying the Thai Chili if that's down your alley). My wife and I both got burgers (handful of choices to choose from) which were cooked medium as requested. Very good. Came with a basket of fries which were also good. App came out quickly but entrées surprisingly took longer than expected. If concerned with today's necessary precautions, the cleanliness and sanitation was excellent including restrooms. The staff mask wearing was a bit below par, but seemed they were only removing behind the bar or around who seemed to be regulars. Plenty of beer (draft, can, bottle) and drink choices. If this was several months ago I would rate a 5. But my last visit was only a 2. The place has a new vibe that was just different. And my burger that I raves about was totally different. It was much smaller and not as juicy. I think they changed the more expensive blend of hamburger with a less expensive one. My wife and I have just Discovered Pica's Pub and Grill (about one month ago). We have been there twice and are very impressed with the food and drink. Pica's has a quite extensive menu that includes wonderful Pub Grub and a good amount of gourmet entrees. They have the best chicken barbecue sandwiches in our area. As far as Covid protection, indoor eating tables have been renovated with plastic enclosures and distancing. There Is also outdoor eating under a large tent. If you like fried food (onion rings, French fries, etc), we found that the were not at all greasy and delicious! Try it, you'll like it! read more

Decided to try Picas tonight! Wow! I got the Muffaletto and I was blown away, you HAVE to get this!!!!! My husband got the Boneless tenders so he could try all the dipping sauces. After he ate the Reaper Sauce, he was sweating buckets. I screwed up the cash I gave the waitress so I felt super bad and gave her the correct tip she deserved, cause she was great. I wish we could give this restaurant 10-Stars! We had just signed papers to our new home in NH, not knowing anywhere to go and grab a bite we went to Pica's. They had just opened and we sat at the bar and Ashley was our bartender. She was super friendly and helpful on answering our questions on the menu and what to order. We let her know that we are new to the area and what she recommended on the menu. She let us know her favorites and she was so right! We got the wings and Meatball app, Best ever! Shortly the server Jenny came over and started giving us all the food restaurants that we need to go visit in the area. The whole restaurant got in on it and now we have a list of all the best restaurants in to try out (Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Pizza...) Went today for a late lunch. Place was pretty busy, prob because the Bruins were playing. Good mix of young and older people. Tara was our server. She did a great job. Making sure our drinks were filled. I got the stuffed meatball sub. Good tender meatballs in fresh bread. Came with some good housemade potato chips. Nice and salty! My friend got the veg. Burger. This review may be skipped over due to the amount of positive reviews but just thought I would share my experience. My husband has been trying to get me to come here for months and I'm always discouraged by the jam packed parking lot. He finally persuaded me into trying something different so we stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered a martini- it was so strong that I couldn't even enjoy it, burned all the way down... and I am an avid martini drinker! I kept an open mind. Ordered a burger with sweet tots, server told me they're out of sweet tots, onion rings & strings, but they have reg tots. Okay sure- cook soon stops over to my table and says we are actually out of reg tots too; so I opted for a side Caesar. I get my salad, doesn't have any dressing. I waited several minutes for our server to pop over and check on us. Finally I got her attention... to my surprise they are out of Caesar dressing. After listing all of the other dressings they had I was bummed out and decided I didn't want the salad any longer. The cook then comes out again with a little cup of Caesar dressing.. although It was off to a rough start the burger was delicious! Just wow! Super good food and outstanding service. We had about a 15 minute wait on a Monday night because it was busy. My husband and I had the steak tips. Just superb! Our daughter had the salmon. I sampled it and it was wonderful. My sister in law had the baked haddock and she said it was excellent. Jessica was our server and she made our evening wonderful. I won't here ever again. I called ahead and told them we were coming and they said they don't take reservations but they don't have a wait and there were tables open. We arrived 20 minutes later and there was a 30 minute wait. Which is ok, I had two kids and a toddler all hungry but make the best of it. Then a handicap person comes in and gives a sob story, then they proceed to sit at the bar. Next thing we know, the handicap person gets seated prior to my family. Which I'd have no issues with if they were actually impaired and couldn't wait for a table but the fact they could sit at the bar, get drinks, and wait, should have warranted us sitting down prior to them since we arrived before them since we couldn't sit at the bar with our kids and we arrived well before them. Then to top it off, their whole party wasn't even with them until we already had already had apps and drinks. The lack or disrespect and disregard we were given outweighs any quality of food we got the rest of the night. I'll never go back to Picas. read more

Decided to check out Pica's in Ayers Village. I did not even know it was open, or even a bar/restaurant until I noticed it on Yelp. Matthew's review was correct on many aspects...very loud, nice decor, and we had a awesome server. We stopped in pretty late on a Friday night. We were lucky to get a seat as it was packed...no parking spaces in the lot. Our server came over, got our drink orders, and gave us menus. No bread was served prior to your meals/appetizers coming out. We ordered the Chicken Picatta (the chef's specialty...and my favorite), and Baked Haddock. The Chicken Piccata was coated with a little flour, which I love over naked, and came with pasta. I chose green beans as a side. Pretty good...the only thing I could say is I like a little more sauce, so would mention for the next time. When Piccata is served with pasta, the pasta eats up the sauce rather quickly. Otherwise pretty good...and that's from someone who gets Chicken Piccata from every restaurant that has it! , My hubby oredered Baked Haddock however, I didn't care for. It had a chemical taste. I realize this is a Pub/Restaurant, but they should really work on the fish they are buying with their fish monger. The 2 people on the table next to us also got fish, so I would guess they sell a fair amount of fish at least on the weekends. Fresh fish should smell and taste like the sea, nothing else. He got the onion strings which were not too bad but greasy. This place is a great meeting spot for people wanting to catch up after a long week, and get a drink and a bite to eat. They have a sauce tray they serve with chicken wings and tenders, so you can try all the different sauces they offer. Great idea! Definitely going to give them another try. The Piccata was good, and I'm sure there is lots more on the menu to enjoy! read more

I really love coming here. The smoked wings with a caddy of different sauces, is so mouth watering. The drinks here are very good; during the summer they come up with a lot of cool new drinks. I've had pretty much everything on the menu and I can honestly say that you can't go wrong here. The only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because the parking lot is tough; there's basically no parking. I also hope that they can maybe expand the building. read more

Went to Pica's Pub for the first time tonight with my husband, my sister, and her boyfriend. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess and sat right away. Our server Sara greeted us with a cheerful smile and we immediately knew we were in great hands. She was incredibly attentive and personable. She made jokes with us and recommended some great items on the menu. We ordered chicken tenders and the spinach dip for appetizers and you could tell that both dishes were homemade. They were delicious. We also ordered the steak tips, Mac and cheese, pulled pork sandwich, and the brisket Shepard's pie for our meals. We did not leave any food on ANY of our plates. Absolutely delicious. We were enjoying ourselves so much we stayed longer for more drinks and enjoyed a few games of Keno. Thanks to the great food and service, we will DEFINITELY be back! read more
