jacked in Blasdell...called the Picassos on McKinley to order a medium pizza, but was told they were out of mediums. i looked at the menu online and it showed a large pizza for $25, so i went with s large. When i arrived to pick up, i was told the price was $35. i questioned the difference and they told me the price online is incorrect. I live in Southern California since I was 12 years old. I wanted some real pizza from home and they sent Buffalo to me. This is hands down the best pizza I have had since 1980. I ordered it through goldbelly and it was delivered two days later. I have had some great pizza in Ca. But nothing like a pizza made in Buffalo NY. This pizza was so good, just like I remember, perfect in every way. After a coupon they give for first order it cost me 50 bux and that is easy to spend on any takeout including when desperate and ordering Domino's. If you plan a night for takeout with the family and can order ahead of time, give this amazing Buffalo pizza place a try (you will not regret it). If you lived or been to Buffalo, you know that taste and you know how much you miss it. This pizza will take care of that and maybe even bring you back memories of family like for me. Quite possibly the World's best chicken finger sub. Before I get into that, I love Picassco's packaging. The pizza box came with Christmas flare. It looks like present you'd put under your tree. And the subs also come in boxes. Think of it as added protection to make sure the amazing chicken finger sub makes it home. TIP - Go on their website for coupons. They literally give stuff away depending on what you order. All you have to do is give the name of coupon over the phone when you place the order. You don't have to print it. Back to the sub. There was literally an entire order of chicken fingers between the roll. They were stacked so high I couldn't fit the sub in my mouth. I ordered them hot. They were by far the most flavorful fingers I've ever eaten. Perfect kick of spice. Nice fresh roll. It also came with a side of zesty orange sauce. No idea what it is but it reminded me of Outback's Bloomin' sauce. I dipped my sub it, fries and even my pizza. The pizza is great too. Thick pepperonis, gooey cheese and a nice sauce. It was fairly greasy though. And I don't understand why most of their pizzas come crust-less. The sauce and cheese literally spread over the outside of dough. I need my crust Mr. Picasso. Disappointed in tonight's take out. Ordered 5 things. BBQ fries. Charred to a crisp. Antipasto was $15. Lettuce was soggy and ended up throwing it away. It had several cores in it. Soggy lettuce ruined it ! Pizza. Two kinds were ok and garlic bread was tipped upside down in the bag. We order at least once a month and never had anything like this before. I should of hung up when the girl started laughing when she answered. I had to say hello a couple times. I know the owner would not be happy if he knew what was going on. Used to be my go-to pizza place. Last three pizzas were under cooked and very doughy. Half pepperoni, well handfuls of pepperoni on half and some all over the half that should have been none. And very little cheese even with double cheese Too bad I used to like their pizza for years. I've been going to Picasso's for years for their "2 Slices & 20 oz." deal. I've never been disappointed, the pizza is the best in WNY without a doubt. I used to work at a local business that would order one of everything off of the Picasso's menu for us every Friday as an 8 pm hour long dinner break. Other than individual subs, I've had everything from Picasso's, and it's all fantastic. Great mozzarella sticks, wings, fingers, etc. If you're visiting Buffalo, definitely go to Picasso's for pizza/wings/fingers (at least). The staff has always been polite. I give the kitchen employees a lot of credit. It's HOT in the kitchen during the summer, especially when they're working double time. Everything inside is clean, the parking lot holds a good amount of cars. read more

Pros of this place: friendly crew, food is always fresh and hot, TONS of coupons online that practically give food away depending on what you order, large pizza is huge, boneless wings are yummy, and their menu is a decent size, there's something for everyone Cons: this place is expensive!! Sub rolls left a lot to be desired, fingers are huge but tasteless and gristly, regular wings are rubbery and seem under cooked Overall, while it's not my favorite food, it is good, and I'm sure it's lots of people's favorite. Update 1/6/15...the last time I was at this Picassos, they were changing out the pizza ovens. Well evidently this means that they are now using a conveyor belt oven like Papa Johns :-(. Unfortunately the pizza is no longer the best in the area. Stay away if you can. From 5 down to 3 stars. Some of the best wings and pizza you will get in Buffalo. Try the Italian baked wings. I just ordered 2 slices of buffalo pizza and it was by far the worst buffalo pizza I've even tried . First thr dough wasn't fully cooked and wet in some spots. I think they put red sauce instead of a buffalo base. The chicken tasted ok but it tasted like chivettas chicken which is Werid . The pizza was a pile of slop and for some reason they put oregano on it to . I thought Buffalo is a hot sauce base with chicken,garlic powder,black pepper and cheese . This pizza was gross . I haven't ordered from here for quite some time ( mostly because it's farther away and costs more) but I often say it is my favorite pizza and even after all this time ( and trying many other places), it still is. Okay so it does cost more for sure and that raises your expectations right off of the bat, but they meet them for me. Ordered a medium cheese pizza, and it's everything a pizza should be. The dough is tender and pillowy soft, cooked well. Cheese is delicious! All cheese is NOT created equal but whatever they use is aces. Love the sprinkle of flavor dust on top. This to me is what pizza should taste like. If I had to find ONE thing wrong would be the sauce could have used a little more oregano this time. I haven't noticed that in the past so maybe it was just an off day. Oregano and garlic in the sauce is what makes pizza taste like pizza. read more

Got some takeout today delivered to our hotel, first time in Buffalo. We were Very happy with the service we got from the Picasso's Pizza the one in West Seneca. Friendliest pizza place. After ordering our second round of rusty chain the owner said it was on him .. thats a beautiful thing that we never hear even at the most visited saloons. Not often do i get to stop at a shipper and have access to delivery. I was craving for pizza, my lady was in the mood for salad, and we both wanted wings. I must say the pizza was excellent and beyond what we expected. Both dishes where overly packed and felt worth the money. The delivery driver was kind and easy to approach. Come to think about it, i should of have him a better tip. I cannot speak of the facility for i was not inside. I most point out, the gentleman on the phone was very patient when ordering. We get the buffalo wing pizza no blue cheese and medium sauce as the base instead and it's the greatest thing ever. This was probably the best chicken finger sub I've had. And they give you a side of what appears to be Thousand Island dressing, which at first is a little weird, put I really enjoyed it. I got a small, but it was still pretty huge; I didn't expect to get so full from it. My friend wasn't thrilled wasn't thrilled with her food, though... Mainly because of the girl who took her order. She had to repeat her order overrrr and overrr again but she still got it wrong. My friend asked for pepperoni pizza, but when she got to my house, behold, plain cheese. I also tried one of her medium wings, which was super dry (as in cooked too long) and then there was no sauce! C'mon. This is Buffalo! Because I had a large order, I placed it a day ahead. Special instructions were involved because getting to the door of our office takes a little bit of work and description. Of course, I ordered 3 different types of pizza, so added complexity. I asked the restaurant to have the driver call me when he arrived at our complex so I could explain how to find us. It's hard to believe that I've lived nearby for years and never tried the product from this place. That all changed yesterday as a result of a major screw up Pasquale's on Seneca Street. Hubby and I have been living the week from hell. As much as I love to cook I just could not bring myself to lift a pot yesterday. Pasquale's is not that far and they serve pasta dinners. Called and ordered a spaghetti dinner for me and a small anchovy pizza for the hub. 35 minutes later we are standing at the counter only to be told that there is no order for us. The young man behind the counter was rather snide when he suggested that maybe we got confused and placed the order with Picasso's. Neither my husband not I suffer from dementia and we did not have a Picasso menu. We took this as a sign as headed off to virgin waters - Picasso's. Same order placed and I have to say I was delighted with the spaghetti dinner! It came with a lovely salad and two hearty meatballs. I'm guessing the meatballs are most likely made by Rosina. No matter, I'm not a huge meatball fan. The sauce was exceptional. I'm guessing they don't make their own however whatever doctoring they do produces a very tasty, chunky sauce. Garlic bread was wonderful, everything about my dinner was great except that you must be quick in my house. I fell asleep and my daughter polished off what was to be my breakfast. I don't eat anchovies so I didn't try the pizza however hubby has been raving about it. A wonderful dining experience that I hope to duplicate sometime soon. read more
