Absolutely horrible, we ordered cream cheese wantons and the creamcheese was sour and noticibly spoiled, we called and spoke to someone and told them, thry said the kanager woukd call us back immediately, 45 minutes later we called back and the person speaking was very unprofessional and hung up on us. If you're looking for decent take out Chinese food esp. the Americanized standards, they've got good stuff! We've ordered a few times and when ordering for 2 or 3 it comes in a nice platter with lid rather than those white cardboard boxes. This looks COOL and is easy to set at the table as is and enjoy. They ev e n add plates etc. So you're good to go. Missing one star b/c I felt it would misrepresent a place that doesn't serve authentic cuisine. We have been going to this restaurant for years and especially love wonton Wednesday's. We usually go late afternoon and the cashiers have always been wonderful. Until yesterday when I went to order my wontons and I asked the older woman cashier if the wontons are still 25 cents she said no they are 40 cents. I then replied I had ordered them a few months ago and they were 25 cents. She then said I was mistaken and she had worked there for four years and they were 25 cents 4 years ago. Again I replied well a few months ago I was charged 25 cents. She continued to insist I was wrong. I don't mind paying the increased price but her belligerent attitude insisting I was wrong was very offensive. read more

Would have given it a zero is allowed! Picked up a to go order last night. I saw the bag sitting on the counter, but it took over 5 minutes for someone to address me. The food here is TERRIBLE. We had House Chicken and Beef... as they say "where's the beef?" someone below said it well... tasted like a bunch of bread crumbs fried up in Chinese sauce. I ordered thru doordash. But unfortunately doordash does not have an option to comment on the door dasher. I think this door dasher has delivered here before, when he left the food outside on top of the wall and was about ready to leave when I caught up with him and told him not to leave food outside. I also added a note for doordash delivery not to leave food outside. This time (it looked like the same guy) he was about to leave it outside and run off. He rang the door bell once. I was very next to the door. As I opened the door, he was bending down to leave the food at the door. He could not even wait for couple of seconds? Anyway the food was not all that tasty anyway. My update comprises of how wierd the normal thing I order (House Special Chicken Combo) from this restaurant was cold and not very good. The wonton chips were very stale and the service was poor to luke warm. Did this place go through an ownership change? Fix it.....I remember when you were decent enough to recommend, but not anymore! Since most of the Pick Up Stix seemed to have closed in Vegas, I have to travel to SoCal to get my Pick Up Stix fix. While I can't comment on anything but the House Special Beef lunch or dinner combo, its solid every time. I don't know what it is but it is my favorite dish they have. A long slow decline to mediocrity - now this chain has ruined the last dish worth a visit, their House Special chicken. This chain is definitely doing something different cooking-wise, since orders now take several minutes less than what was required a few years ago. Whatever the chain is doing is to the detriment of the taste and quality of the food. I have given up on their Kung Pao, as it has grown progressively more oily over the last several years; now the House Special chicken is bland; time to quit. Love this location for both take out n fine in only been here for lunch I've seen this place packed and they still were giving jsut as great service compared to previous visits. I have to disagree with some of the other reviews on this location for Pick Up Stix. Granted, this is not "Chinese" food. This is good old "Westernized Asian Food" as one of the previous reviewers has stated. Past that, this location is the only one in the area that has never messed up an order (that I didn't forget to order correctly) and is always consistently fresh and delicious. The girls that run the place are pretty nice, and I've never had stale or cold food from this place. It gets insanely busy around lunch time, but it's OK if you call 20-30 minutes before you get there. A little planning goes a long way. It's decently busy most evenings, but again, I always call ahead and have never had issues. My wife usually gets garlic chicken or house special chicken. I always get the orange peel chicken which is DELICIOUS and SPICY SWEET and, well, yeah, it's just amazing. Cream cheese wontons are a must, and are sometimes all I eat on Won Ton Wednesday (25¢ each) This is our go-to Pick Up Stix. This location is much better than the one in Aliso Viejo, for sure, and the others peppered around the area. read more

I got the broccoli beef here on my lunch break and was disappointed on how you can go wrong with something so simple. Sadly I was not impressed with Pick up Stix. I've had better, but then again I've had worse. I had the garlic shrimp lunch combo. Some of the vegetables were cooked all the way through while some it seemed to be like an after thought of "Oh I forgot to add these vegetables" others were very obviously still raw. One bonus of the lunch experience was that the noodles were H-O-T all through out the meal instead of getting cold two minutes into the meal. :-) I think next time that I want to go to lunch then browse Best Buy I'll go to Del Taco. So it's been about a year, and guess what? This place is still 1 star for me. Some of the worst service by far. I just ordered the lunch white rice and house chicken. Staple items for this chain, nothing special or extra, etc. I put my order in at 12:57pm, and the place was 1/4th full with customers, and 3-4 waiting customers. 2 cooks, one gal expediting, one gal serving and taking orders, and one guy taking orders. So 5 employees. After 15 minutes I went to the order window and asked about my order. I was told it was coming up. 2 minutes later (17 minutes in now) I heard my order called to the cooks. So basically at this point, nothing has been done for my order. After 2 minutes, I was given my order. So a total of 19 minutes with 17 minutes of nothing happening for my order and no one waiting to order or be served. The kitchen sure sounds busy making a bunch of noise, but who are they cooking for? The gal expediting either needs to be trained or removed from that station because she can't handle a simple order like mine or call them out in the order they were given to her. I could have filled up my truck with gas, purchased a new case for my iPhone, and grabbed some tacos in the same amount of time it took to get a lunch house chicken and steamed rice. So if you go here, be prepared to wait, then wait some more, and then have to ask about your order before anything happens. read more

Food is like the other locations. Me and my kids were eating our dinner and 1 hour before closing they began scrubbing the kitchen floor with super strong smelling Fabuloso! The rest of our food tasted like cleaner.... other table complained to them and the employee said they have to clean the floor, so they left. Couldn't they wait until closing time to clean the floor with that horrible smelling cleaner? So, note to all, don't come at night 1 hour before closing. read more
