My Cousin wanted us to have dinner here so, we went Friday afternoon. I ordered a Personal Pan Pepperoni. The Line Cook hooked me up! She grabbed three handfuls of Mozzarella Cheese! She put it in the oven and it was out in five and the pizza was like a Pie! She also, said, if you spend eight you can get Cinnamon sticks for three. My cousin said, yeah, will do it. But, later came and we never received the order? So, my cousin spoke to them about it. They made the order and didn't charge him for it because, of the miscommunication. The Sticks were well worth the mix up. Lol. They were so sweet and goey. The Icing tasted like Candy. To Go Boxes are available by the Drink Station so, help yourself. The Pizzas are fulfilling. We arrived around 11:45 am. Excited because we hadn't eaten here in a while. There is one closer to where we live now but we had errands to run and was craving pizza. It simply is the best for the money. I have them cut mine into squares and my sister gets her usual, Hawaiian style pizza. Mine the works---customized with Pepperoni, ground beef and sausage, onions, green olives, mushrooms and extra cheese seasoned with their famous magic dust. (A mix of Romano and Parmesan cheese and Italian spices) We both love em. Thin crust. I love how some of the edges bubble up. Service was great and the guy made our pizzas exactly the way wanted. I drove all the way with my kids after checking that they close at 10 PM. We arrived at 9:52 PM, only to be turned away. Despite the clearly posted closing time being 10 PM, the staff refused to serve us. Jackie claimed that management requires them to shut off the oven at 9:45 PM and said this was written on the door--but I checked, and there was absolutely nothing stating that. This is incredibly disrespectful to customers. If they stop service at 9:45, they should update their hours on Google and on the door. Don't mislead people and waste their time. It's unprofessional, inconsiderate, and honestly just bad business. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who expects basic respect and honesty read more

Let me preface by saying the first 3 years of this place was amazing. Unlimited toppings and very fresh. However, 2023 is a different story. Limited toppings, still fresh but not consistent. On Veterans Day I came in for their veterans deal. The manager was very nice and friendly and talked to me as she made my pizza. I get home and ate half the pizza for lunch, it was not terrible but super greasy. I couldn't really complain as it's pizza, and it's free pizza. Fast forward to the night. I thought okay I'll have the other half. First bite of my veggie pizza I feel something hard. I was thinking wait, that's not right! So I feel around and end up pulling out an alley key!! Like one that ikea includes with their furniture! Talk about taking build your own pizza to a new level! So I got kind of anxious thinking wow what did I possible accidentally eat that may have fallen in the pizza?? It wasn't just laying on top, it was buried in the pizza so it didn't exactly just drop in there. My wife called the manager and she tried to pass the buck asking why I didn't bring it back as soon as I got home. We explained how I only ate half, then the other half later. She acted as if she didn't believe us and we just wanted to know how it happened, maybe review video footage to see. She didn't sound bothered and just asked if we would like another pizza. Uh, no! Does this one include the nuts and bolts?? So we emailed corporate, no response. I messaged social media outlets, no response. Sadly, I can't trust them anymore and won't be back. It's a shame, but I just can't take that chance. I've never experienced anything like that in my life. If I swallowed that, you can bet it would have been a lawsuit. We did keep the alley key as our unlucky little charm. The ironic part is the manager was bragging about how well she multitasks under pressure. Me and my husband ordered online on their app and when my husband went to go pick it up he noticed mine was not gluten free (I'm allergic to gluten). When he told them that they said they were "discontinuing gluten free crust". They have lots of pre-made pizza options, a build-your-own option, salads, and some desserts. They have several crust options including gluten-free and cauliflower crusts, multiple sauce options, and a good amount of toppings to choose from (including Impossible meatballs, vegan cheese, and veggies). I usually get the build your own pie and switch it up based on how I'm feeling that day. The pizzas are usually ready pretty fast as they're smaller than usual. The dining area is a decent size, but you could also grab take-out from here and have an easy picnic in the nearby park. Parking near the store has never been an issue for me. Since they're towards the front of the plaza, there's usually been spots available. read more

My grandson loves to eat. I hadn't had pizza since moving to Texas. We found a local pizza chain. The make custom personal and family size pizzas with thin, traditional and deep dish crusts. This was absolutely fun to watch. We ordered the build me own with veggie topping and the High Five. The High Five comes with pepperoni, bacon, ham, sausage and beef. We made it a bundle with a dessert cinnamon stick and drink for one and an Italian salad with pepperoni, mozzarella onions and tomato and a drink. We needed two to go boxes. They offer delivery on their website but if you place an order 20 minutes goes by then some dude from the store calls to inform you that they have no delivery driver. This has happened both of the last two times I ordered, one week apart. If you call the phone number listed for this location or the Montgomery Plaza location you get an automated system that asks for a phone number and a pin. I recently had my first Fort Worth Pie Five experience. Great location for the place. I'm excited to see Pie Five offering a gluten free crust. Gluten free is not a fade it's something people have to live with as a food allergy. Two pizzas were order for my family. Thin crust which is the norm for gluten free crust. The pizza was average in taste. Somehow I was expecting more but at best I give this place three stars. There are so many places you can go to for pizza. I would leave this place off your list. Maybe it's ok for a quick lunch break. I would try Mama's, Pizza Snob, Campisi or Perrotti's for a better experience. PS the Camp Bowie location is closed. read more

There aren't many places I can find fast-food GF pizza, but Pie Five is one of them, and they're awesome! Apparently Dominoes has a GF option (but they recommend that those with a gluten intolerance don't eat it... what?). Anyway, Pie Five is fantastic. Here's how it works! It's kinda like a Subway... You pick your crust, pick your sauce, pick your toppings, and then onto the conveyer-belt-oven it goes. It pops out on the other side all hot and toasty, and you can add fresh basil or Romano cheese (or both, if you're me) on top. Yummmm. So, I went with the GF crust, of course, which is pretty darn good.... up there with some of the best! I chose classic ol' marinara sauce and added fresh garlic. Then, I had my pizza piled high with mozzarella, pepperoni, black and kalamata olives, jalapeños, diced tomatoes, mushrooms, and red onion. Sigh. It was a beaut. No extra charge for all the extra toppings either... what could be better? You can make any kind of pizza you want! If you want to order the "Margherita" or "Meat Lovers" or whatever, go right ahead; there are plenty of lovely combos to peruse. But I love to just throw everything on there... Get whimsical! There was NO ONE in this relatively new Pie Five when I visited at 4 PM on a Sunday. Perhaps that's a weird time to go eat pizza? It was nice though. Spotless, bright, and well staffed with extremely nice employees. For my personal pizza with a million toppings and a coke, I spent $11 (it's an extra $2 for GF - keep that in mind). I'd say the prices are pretty awesome. I ate my beautiful pizza alone and read Mario Puzo's "The Family." That may sound kind of dramatic, but hey, I really enjoyed my experience. Ordered as part of a large group for lunch to be picked up by our office personnel, and my order was forgotten. Not left behind, just never made. As a human, I understand mistakes happen and would have certainly forgave the inconvenience of having to return. Yet when our assistant was on the phone trying to resolve the issue, she was countered with obstinance and difficulty at every turn. First, I never placed the order, then when I provided them with verification in the form of an order number from my confirmation order, she was told they have no access to that and it's of no help. I don't comprehend how a successful business can have no dialogue between their online systems and the people in the store, but I DEFINITELY will never trust them with an online order again. I arrived on the scene on Sunday for lunch. It was a little after 11:00 am and we had the place to ourselves. There were so many choices to build your own pizza. I decided to go with the plain old cheese and pepperoni. The crust was thick in the shape of a pie with tomato sauce, mozzarella and oversized pepperonis. My pizza slowly went on to a conveyer belt and into a oven and ready in minutes! My pizza cost $7.49 but on Mondays is $5.55! I highly recommend accepting some magic dust. It literally is like magic. I used to be a big Pie Five fan. There was one close to where I lived in Irving and we would go there often. The price is pretty good for a good sized personal pizza. However I went to this location with a friend and it was a sub-par experience. I went in and the AC was on the fritz but whatever they had some fans going and I didn't plan on staying very long anyway. I ordered my pizza and went to pay. I was paying for my pizza and my spouse but the cashier didn't seem to understand the concept. After I finally got through to them that I was paying for two people they forgot the drinks and had to run my card a second time. When the food finally came out it was so-so. The difference in taste compared to previous locations was noticeable. I'm not sure if they use different suppliers or if the company has changed the recipes but it was just passable. Since we were already doing a late lunch with a friend and were all starving we just went ahead and ate our food because we didn't want to wait any longer at a new place or deal with trying to get a refund. It was a shame because we had talked up the chain to our friend as being delicious and instead we came off looking like fools for a sub-par experience. I definitely won't be giving this location another chance when there are better options around. read more

FREE ROACH TOPPING!!! Was very surprised by what I saw at lunch today at 1:30PM at the Fort Worth West 7th location. I saw at least 5 live cockroaches crawling in and immediately around the ingredients trays. The polite male prep server fished them out and closed the lid until he needed to access for other customers however I hope Pie Five takes more permanent steps for the health and well being if its customers. Our pizzas were hot, tasted fresh and we left feeling full! My only complaints were how small the seating area is for dining in. Upon looking at the wings I realized they were basically Tyson chicken nuggets with buffalo sauce on them. I came in because Pei Wei suddenly had a line out the door I noticed there was an option for cauliflower crust. It cost an extra $4 which I personally thought was a little steep, but I figured I might as well give it a try for my body to go a little easy on the carbs. The staff was super sweet, asking if I ordered the cauliflower crust for allergen reasons so they could take correct precautions if necessary. I let them know I just wanted to try it out. Btw, the cauliflower crust was absolutely freaking wonderful! I had a delicious pizza that I didn't even feel guilty about eating! I only have one complaint about this visit, and it's that there were a couple flies in the restaurant. Then again it's 95 degrees outside so that's a little hard to eliminate. read more

There was one person in front of us and 2 people behind - after ordering cheese sticks and Cinnasticks, we sat down and waited. After 10 minutes and 3 orders that had been placed after us being picked up, we were a little concerned, but we understand stuff happens! After 23 minutes and 5 orders being placed and picked up.... We finally decided to say something. Upon approaching the counter, we were told that they'd just remake them and they didn't know what happened. We said well what happened to the originals, to that they has no response. The one guy disappeared into the crowd of the other guys and whispering to them, I'm assuming trying to figure out how to rectify the situation, but then we heard nothing until one other guy came up to us and said "the cinna sticks & cheese sticks? Insert your card." Indicating clearly that we were just getting a refund and to insert the card. I checked this place out yesterday as i am a pizza freak! Lol. I heard good things and food the most part they were right, the prices are affordable and the food was really good and fast. I ordered the pizza,salad bundle for like $12 and i had a traditional Italian pizza with tuscan marinara sauce and extra pepperoni it was good, i also had the italian salad with balsamic vinaigrette but it wasn't very good and the dressing was to heavy on the vinegar. I ordered my pizza and THEN while sitting across from the counter noticed the young lady that made my pizza walking around likes she's at home in her kitchen eating the toppings and sucking her fingers. As gross as that was then the lady making the dough balls did everything under the sun with those same gloves on, handled cash at the register, scratched her head/face all the while making the dough balls.
