We arrived around 11:45 am. Excited because we hadn't eaten here in a while. There is one closer to where we live now but we had errands to run and was craving pizza. It simply is the best for the money. I have them cut mine into squares and my sister gets her usual, Hawaiian style pizza. Mine the works---customized with Pepperoni, ground beef and sausage, onions, green olives, mushrooms and extra cheese seasoned with their famous magic dust. (A mix of Romano and Parmesan cheese and Italian spices) We both love em. Thin crust. I love how some of the edges bubble up. Service was great and the guy made our pizzas exactly the way wanted. Early so empty on arrival. The pizza area was a bit more disarrayed than usual but overall an excellent experience!

They had a special two topping for 6.99. It was my first time. It smelled so good when you walk in.

Pizza slice I found the alley key in. I pulled it from the middle of the pizza slice.

Let me preface by saying the first 3 years of this place was amazing. Unlimited toppings and very fresh. However, 2023 is a different story. Limited toppings, still fresh but not consistent. On Veterans Day I came in for their veterans deal. The manager was very nice and friendly and talked to me as she made my pizza. I get home and ate half the pizza for lunch, it was not terrible but super greasy. I couldn't really complain as it's pizza, and it's free pizza. Fast forward to the night. I thought okay I'll have the other half. First bite of my veggie pizza I feel something hard. I was thinking wait, that's not right! So I feel around and end up pulling out an alley key!! Like one that ikea includes with their furniture! Talk about taking build your own pizza to a new level! So I got kind of anxious thinking wow what did I possible accidentally eat that may have fallen in the pizza?? It wasn't just laying on top, it was buried in the pizza so it didn't exactly just drop in there. My wife called the manager and she tried to pass the buck asking why I didn't bring it back as soon as I got home. We explained how I only ate half, then the other half later. She acted as if she didn't believe us and we just wanted to know how it happened, maybe review video footage to see. She didn't sound bothered and just asked if we would like another pizza. Uh, no! Does this one include the nuts and bolts?? So we emailed corporate, no response. I messaged social media outlets, no response. Sadly, I can't trust them anymore and won't be back. It's a shame, but I just can't take that chance. I've never experienced anything like that in my life. If I swallowed that, you can bet it would have been a lawsuit. We did keep the alley key as our unlucky little charm. The ironic part is the manager was bragging about how well she multitasks under pressure. Obviously this couldn't be further from the truth!

Y'all have to try this place! Me and my friend asked if we could get the kid bundle just because we liked how it included a cookie and a drink and the guy who made our pizza was super kind and helpful and agreed to do it. The pizza was delicious and we finished every bit of it. Small personal size pizza which is perfect for someone who's hungry. Definetly filled me up and we left stuffed!

My grandson loves to eat. I hadn't had pizza since moving to Texas. We found a local pizza chain. The make custom personal and family size pizzas with thin, traditional and deep dish crusts. This was absolutely fun to watch. We ordered the build me own with veggie topping and the High Five. The High Five comes with pepperoni, bacon, ham, sausage and beef. We made it a bundle with a dessert cinnamon stick and drink for one and an Italian salad with pepperoni, mozzarella onions and tomato and a drink. We needed two to go boxes. Pie Five is a winner.

We ordered the shrimp shumai, hot oil wontons, and crispy shrimp balls for our appetizers as well which were all very good. For entrees we ordered General Tso's chicken and Mongolian beef but the Mongolian beef came out tasting unusually sweet so we informed the waitress and she replaced it with a different entree the longhorn beef and peppers which was really good, a few minutes later the manager came to the table and asked about the Mongolian beef and let us know that she had them remake it, she brought it back out to the table and this time it was done perfectly with a good amount of spice and no sweetness we were also able to keep all three entrees which was cool and she took the Mongolian beef off of our check which we very much appreciated. It's hard to find good vegan dumplings, so I'm so excited to have discovered these! Definitely not your average veg dumpling, these are packed with flavor! The rice was also pretty solid, a bit oily for my liking but flavorful nonetheless.

They are located on a corner and parking is limited. I found street parking on the side street, about a block down in front of a house. We walked inside Gus's about 11:30 am on a Wednesday. They were busy' but had a number of open tables. There are mostly square and rectangular 4-top tables. We chose one by the front windows. A moment after we sat down, our server, Joe K came by to greet us and he took our drink order. Menu's are at the table, so we studied a bit and were ready for Joe when he brought our drinks. I ordered: - Unsweetened Iced Tea - 3 Piece Dark Chicken Plate (my choice: leg, leg, thigh) with Greens and BBQ Beans My wife ordered: 2 Piece White Chicken Plate (breast, wing) with Mac-Cheese and BBQ Beans The chicken was the star for sure. The BBQ Beans weren't special but were decent. The Greens, decent. With each meal plate, the chicken is served on a slice of white bread. The chicken was fried to a deep brown and was real tasty. My dark meat was juicy and tender. My wife's white meat was drier but normal for white meat. My wife's felt the chicken skin was maybe overcooked as it was tough. It was fine to me. I ate her skin :) We'll be back to Gus's!

The little extras they provide are a welcome addition and are truly incredible in their own right, from the glass of champagne, to the little round crispy appetizer ball thingy (I'm not even sure what it is but it's wonderful) with the accompanying aioli, to the delicate and airy popovers; what a beginning to each meal! I started with the Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp and the dressing was subtle but authentic. I then varied from tradition and ordered the sea bass for my entree. Oh my what a treat! Let me just give a special shoutout to the service in particular. I have not had such a good set of servers (from front of house to bartenders to waitresses) in a very long time. They were excellent. The food was also very good. However, to be honest, the steak was under-seasoned and a little on the tough side. I bought a 12-once ribeye and we split the 32-ounce tomahawk steak. Visually, stunning. But the ribeye was certainly on the tougher side and both steaks needed salt. Overall, really good experience - but I was expecting better flavor from the star dishes. Nonetheless, still would recommend.

On the hottest day, I sat outside, but the fans kept the air moving so it wasn't terrible. Joseph attended to me quickly and was excited to serve me despite the heat. I ordered the steak bite appetizer and the mahi mahi tacos with fries. The steak bites were flavorful and the sautéed onions amazing. Perfect appetizer for two. The mahi mahi tacos were simply beautiful. All the flavors came through from the housemate tortilla, grilled mahi mahi to the citrus marinade and pickled onions. I do think the avocado cream got forgotten but I asked for it and Joseph brought me some. I added it to the second taco and it elevated. The crema has a little kick that is just perfect. I also consider myself a picky French fry eater. I'm more a frite fan than fry fan. Maybe it's the tallow, but these fries were wonderfully crispy and well salted. I highly recommend this meal! However, once I received the starters, I felt the portions were much smaller than expected. In my opinion, the charred campfire chicken could feed one person, while the cochinita nachos could feed two. I will say the charred campfire chicken was juicy and had a nice charred texture. The white bbq aioli and smoked corn slaw were delicious and paired nicely with the chicken. Unfortunately, the cochinita nachos were very disappointing and, honestly the worst nachos I've had at a restaurant. The nachos are the primary reason for my two star rating. The Mexican pulled pork contained a few fatty pieces, and the Jack cheese was unevenly dumped throughout the nachos in large chunks. The bottom of the plate was also soaking in grease from the cheese. I've never experienced this with nachos at another restaurant, and I would think the excess grease would be drained so the chips at the bottom aren't left sitting in it. I noticed that most guests were ordering their small burgers and fries, so I may return to try those or possibly order another chicken dish.

Nonetheless, I truly do feel that Rodeo Goat does it differently. Came here after work with some friends. There's quite an assortment of creative options. I opted for the Hot Bastard. To make it even more interesting, I got it with the Impossible Patty (per recommendation). Now, upon first bite, there's not an immediate heat. However, it slowly creeps up. It creeps up to the point where you do find yourself looking for a glass of water or just anything to help settle the heat. That's what I loved the most about this burger. Maybe it was the fresno peppers. Maybe it was the habanero cheddar. Whatever it was, I loved it. Now, in terms of the patty, I thought it was great quality. I haven't tried their beef patties to use as a comparison but I still enjoyed the burger very much with the impossible patty. Only qualm about it was that the patty did give way about halfway through. Though, I find that's on par with a good messy burger. Overall, would come again, especially with the immense variety. The only downside to our visit was that there was a very large dog dining inside the restaurant. The staff allowed the dog's water bowl to be placed on the table, and while the dog remained on a leash, several employees stopped to pet it before returning to refill drinks, deliver food, or check on guests. Everything we've ordered--whether schnitzel, brats, pretzels, or sides has been excellent. The atmosphere is so fun and immersive with the German decor, great beer selection, and friendly service every time. We've brought friends, family, and out-of-town company here multiple times, and everyone has raved about their meal. It's become our go-to spot for hosting visitors reliable, generous portions, and always a wonderful experience. If you're in Granbury, do yourself a favor and make a reservation. You won't regret it. Prost! We'll be back soon. Highly recommend, 5 stars all the way!

Pass on the hot potato salad, it was mealy, but the fried potatoes were perfect. The German beer selection was solid too so your taste buds are in for a good time. Expect to pay touristy area prices, but nothing too crazy. My only tiny gripe is that the musician didn't show up until about an hour and a half after her scheduled start. I was ready for a show but hey, I survived. Just a little bummer, not a deal breaker. Definitely a cool place to grab some tasty food and beers.
