I have loved this place for years but they have changed since COVID hit. They now skimp on the toppings dramatically. It feels like they've increased prices by 30% and decreased toppings by 40%. It was such a wonderful spot to eat, with always a lively crowd and fast-moving lines. Now it's kind of a lonely place, with uncleaned tables and zero lines. It's embarrassing for us to buy pizzas with very little toppings on them and have our guests see that. I hope their management does some reflection and go back to their heyday policies. Worst experience I've ever had with the pizza industry, repetitive mistakes charge me $40 for a calzone and a pizza mismatch marketing, the wrong prices are placed outside but different prices are placed inside charge me extra for all the sides and got my order wrong so many times I am gluten-free and dairy free ( which they didn't understand??) and have an allergy so I need a glove change. They messed up my pizza multiple times I have never had such a problem with the restaurant until this one. There was one girl and one guy they were both struggling to do their job and failed to be competent, the service was really lacking. You have now left a note stating to please contact you about the service, I have called the phone number multiple times listed on the Pieology website for this location. There is no way for me to privately contact you through this app, so how do you expect to resolve the situation? I was also offered no refund or any sort of apology for the mishap with my food. We have been customers here several times and usually go during off hours so the wait isn't too long. We love getting custom pizzas here and they are always patient with us when we request toppings! Customer service here has always been stellar for us. Our pizzas always come out perfect without any charring or burns from overbaking. read more

Me and my son, used to live going to this place. But for whatever reason, the pizzas are now smaller, more expensive, less options for toppings and you get less of the toppings. I have to say they are an amazing addition to the neighborhood. And if you go in to order a pizza, but you aren't quite sure what you want to get, ask the person behind the counter--I've never been steered wrong! I've noticed portions are smaller than at another local store..but I have a feeling the company has changed portions at all their locations. I hadn't had a Pieology pizza in such a long time. I thought it sounded great tonight. As I entered into the restaurant, I noticed there were three workers. I was the only person standing in line and one other person eating at the table. After waiting for quite a long time to be acknowledged, I interrupted to ask if there was someone to take my order. Prior to interrupting, I observed two workers make four pizzas in front of me and not one time did they communicate by saying, "How can I help you or I'll be with you in just a few minutes." I finally asked if there is someone to take my order the reply was "I'm sorry there's only three of us today." I was very disappointed and left. Wow. This place is not the place to eat. They are all a bunch of hunky dory, low energy, couldn't give a damn slow people. They were chincy on the unlimited custom toppings and had to tell them several times to put more. The restaurant portion was filthy dirty with cups and trash on the tables, food and trash on the floors. The touch pad to pay was gross, oily and filthy we told them it needed to be cleaned. Had to wash our hands after touching and there was Zero response as if we didn't speak to them, they completely ignored us. We weren't rude at all just fact of the matter. There are dead flies, nats and bugs on all of the window seals/ledges. You guys need a new hiring manager and find better workers or find a way to make the moral better or a different franchise owner. Such a disgrace being in Clovis. Do better yall. read more

We had a school fundraiser at Pieology, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered two pizzas, a salad and 4 cookies for delivery through the Pieology app. $69.00. Delivery worked out great since the husband is out with the car and won't be home until after dinner time. When the order got here, my salad was missing. When I called to report that we were missing our salad, the gal on the phone said "that's not our problem, it's still here, you can come get it." I was floored by her unprofessionalism. I ordered through their Pieology app, I didn't realize that it was actually door dash that was delivering. I don't have the car tonight. They offered me a refund for the salad (but not the extra dressing I ordered for it) and of course it's going to take 3-5 business days for my refund to show in my account. What happened to this location?? New ownership? We used to go there all the time, but haven't been for at least a year. On this visit four days ago, the restaurant was dirty, no "specialty lemonades" bubbling, videos stuck in limbo waiting for someone to press "play," pieces of food sitting on top of the trash cans, pizzas came out at different times for our party of 3, etc. A worker finally came and emptied the trash cans, but never cleaned the top and removed the trays? The worst of the experience however, was the Subway-esque measuring of toppings (skimpy AT BEST), and the teenage workers that needed good scrubbings and hair nets! I came in tonight just to grab three build your own pies when it came time to put oil/sauce/cheese etc. She was extremely rude for no apparent reason. Rolling her eyes when I very politely asked for extra cheese and acting as if she was painfully miserable. But for the record I'd love to add that everyone else on staff was so friendly and welcoming but she ruined my appetite and my overall mood. My family had been coming here for years and we always ask for extra meat. All the years we've been there they never charge us for extra meat. Recently, they charged us $2 for each pizza, we bought 4, so $8 additional just for extra meat topping. I ordered from here last weekend. The store was like all the others. Clean. Simple. Straightforward. I haven't been to pieology in years. The service was decent. One thing I noticed is that they definitely skimped on their toppings. Years ago the pizza seemed bigger, Fuller, and the toppings were definitely not skimpy. They were sprinkling a very small amount of toppings like they were going to run out of food that day or something. It was very obvious and my pizza looked sorry. I forgot to take a picture because I had no desire to capture how lame it looked. I was a little bugged that I paid $11 for my tiny little skimpy pizza and then went to go pick up my husbands pizza dinner box from Pizza Hut for $10 and it was huge, included bread sticks, and cinnamon sticks. I was bummed and not looking forward to eating my pizza because I thought it was a rip off. I even told my husband I'd never order from pieology again. Well the moment I bit into it, I was very pleasantly surprised!! It was absolutely delicious!!! I even told my husband that I'd definitely go back to reorder that same pizza lol. Talk about a change of heart!! I'm thankful they have options for people who are vegan or have dairy or gluten allergies. My baby is EBF and is allergic to dairy and beef so I have to watch what I eat. I ordered gluten free pizza crust which was their only crust without dairy. It was enjoyable, chewy and a tad crunchy. I had olive oil brushed on instead of butter. Sauce and toppings: Bbq sauce, olives, mushrooms, spinach, onions, vegan cheese, sundried tomatoes, bell pepper, and 100% pork sausage. I have to say the flavors and textures of this pizza were amazing!!! It all just melted in my mouth, it was sweet, savory, a little crunchy, and nice and chewy!! Well my one and only complaint is obviously the skimpy amount of toppings and sauce. It would be great if they were a little more generous so it looks like a full pizza instead of a bare and empty one. Otherwise I absolutely loved my pizza and I'm already craving more. The price didn't bother me so much after how fresh and quality it tasted. I'm sad to write this because Pieology was my favorite pizza, but they have a new crust roller and the pizzas are now unacceptably small. The 7" bambino I received was about 5" and the regular 11"pizzas were about 8" and abnormally shaped. I understand the amount of crust may be the same, but with the smaller surface area it's like we aren't getting any pizza at all, especially the single-bite pieces of the bambino. The only reason this isn't a 1 star is because the employees were very kind and offered to remake the pizzas, but they did remake one and it was the same, so I didn't think it was worth continuing to waste time and ingredients. read more
