Well she is amazing and just talking to her in this short time that I was there you can definitely hear her love for food and our community. Her and her husband put a lot of time into this restaurant to make sure the quality is perfect at every bite in everything they cook. What helps this pizza taste great is the style of their brick oven. It's the only way to have a really good pizza cooked. I hear they just opened up another location off of Fowler and Ashlan and the atmosphere, music and customers are really good. I had ordered or made my own style of pizza, and let me tell you right out of the gate that crust omg was so crispy, cooked perfectly and tasted just perfect. Their pizza sauce is home made and let me say hands down one of the best sauces I've had in a long time. I will be back to try more off the menu but I'm sure it will hit a home run for our community. I was the only one that didn't get sick, thankfully, but my poor children were not so lucky. It was a very frightening experience. Please take a look at your health and sanitation practices so this doesn't happen to anyone else in the future.

I had to go to Urgent Care twice and had X-rays to ensure I would not require surgery. They never called me back, not a care in the world to offer to pay for my medical bills. Story below ... I would never order from here again. I ate 3 slices then bit into something hard. I removed a small piece of metal with one end that looked like a sharp fish hook or something. I panicked and realized that I may have eaten other objects from the other slices I had already eaten. I went to urgent care right away to see if anything showed up on the xray and to my absolute horror it did. In my upper intestine there was a xray of the same sharp hook like object. The doctor told me the risks of intestinal bleeding if it got caught on the lining of my intestines and that it may require surgery to get it out, and if that was required it would be very difficult to find it, risk of infection, it was a nightmare. So for 3 days I had to wait and have this on my conscious. I went back to get a xray and thank God nothing showed up, so it must have passed through me. The doctor told me he was surprised it passed without getting stuck because of the fish hook appearance of the metal object. So I called BC's and spoke with the manager they said it was a family operated business and they would call me. They never did. I never tried to sue them or anything, I just wanted an apology and the owners didn't even have the decency to apologize and get to the bottom of why this was in my pizza. I was scared that this could have been in others' pizza too and not just mine. What if a little kid ate the pizza? How reckless and cruel to not even give the customer a phone call. I ended up filing a report with the county health department and they did an inspection and found multiple violations, which included not keeping the prep area clean and free of debris and no food safety manager on duty. I still have a picture of what was in my pizza. If you saw it you would never eat at a place like this ever again.

The problem is consistency. Anything outside of a standard order--asking for the pizza to be double cut, cooked well done, or making other simple modifications--seems to be about a 50/50 chance of being done correctly. We've also had several orders over the years that simply weren't what we ordered. Mistakes happen, and that's understandable. But pizza isn't cheap anymore, and when you're spending that kind of money, you expect the order to be accurate. We'll probably continue to order from Marco's because when they get it right, it's excellent. I just wish the consistency matched the quality of the food. If they can tighten that up, this would easily be a five-star review.

I recently ordered the $12.99 "Build Your Own" calzone special at Pieology, and unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. I selected jalapeños, meat, pepperoni, mushrooms, and garlic as my toppings, excited for what would be my first meal of the day at 10 pm. However, the calzone I received was far from what I expected. It contained what looked like feta cheese instead of mozzarella, which I did not order. The taste was bland, and there was barely any pepperoni inside. I was so disappointed that I ended up eating just the bread with ranch because I was so hungry. This was by far the worst experience I've had at Pieology. I double-checked my receipt to see if I mistakenly ordered something else, but everything was correct on my end. I hope this was just a one-off mistake, but it really left a bad impression. read more

We came in as a party of 6 last night. Each of us ordered a pizza and we watched them make it right in front of us. After a reasonable amount of time, they started bringing the pizzas out 2 at a time. Unfortunately, only four out of the six pizzas arrived. How do you lose two pizzas? The employees all had blank stares. After examining the receipt, we had only been charged for four pizzas. They offered to complete the order without further charge, so we waited, but of course by now most our party had finished eating. Please equip your employees to handle a busy restaurant and to have some basic customer service skills. read more

The dough had not been proofed or risen so both the calzones and the children's pizzas did not bake correctly, all the food that we had received was completely un-edible. I returned to the store to speak with the employee. She was very nice, but stated that they had not placed orders, did not have lettuce and a lot of other toppings that is why she had to turn people away and why my order was not fulfilled correctly. She gave me a number that was supposedly for customer service, upon contacting it, was for virtual support, store support.. The gentleman on the phone gave me the website. I originally filed a complaint this way about 4 to 5 days ago at which point I was made aware by email all refunds and complaints are handled in store. I returned to the store yesterday 6/28/26 around 1pm and was greeted with a friendly employee. She made me aware that there are new owners, that have not been making supply orders and they are having employees start at 12 when the business hours are clearly posted as 11. Which is why my dough was not prepped when my order was placed at noon. She took my information and let me know an owner would be coming to the store later that day and should contact me no later than 3 PM. No one contacted me. I paid almost $70 for un-edible food over 10 days ago, and have yet to be offered a coupon or refund or something as little as I'm sorry!! I returned to the store today around 12:30 and was met with another employee who was able to give me a number for one of the "owners". He let me know that he is not the owner, the owner is apparently sick and he is his brother. Very horrible way to run a business. He could not tell me when they would be able to "go into the office to process a refund". At this point, I'm guessing I will probably never receive one. I will never be returning to any Papa Murphy's franchise ever again. Which is sad cause we used to eat it regularly. As someone who worked in customer service for over 10 years, this is very bad business.
