This is my first time trying Pieology and my initial impression after opening pizza box and seeing the barely there crust was, " I already don't like it. I want a refund. " B u t...after trying, the pizza did have good flavor. The combination of the sauce and toppings stood out more than anything. Toppings had a fresh taste to them and the sauce was flavorful. The thin crust was way too thin and too toasted for me. A definite pass on the crust. The hot wings were okay, they are definitely a lot smaller in size than normal. The hot sauce had a good amount of punch and the wings were well cooked. Thin crust pizza is not for me but yes, I would come back to try the deep dish. read more

The pizza were pretty good but the price was pretty steep! So I've tried a lot of pizza places and Pieology is different. The pizza is very good and you can order what you want, since all ingredients you want to add are included. Now, sometimes I get a pizza with everything and it's a full pizza. Other times it has been a bit sparse. Every time it's been good. The have a rewards program, but I've tried and tried to redeem a reward for a craft your own, without success. Sent an email to them, asking for help, but no reply. The pizza is still very good and I'll order again, but the reward program feels like a waste to me. Maybe if you go to their location and order. Either way, enjoy. read more

Showed up midafternoon, and thought the restaurant might be closed; it was that quiet. Turns out we just showed up at the perfect time and no other customers were there. (Thank you, line fairy!) The person who made our pizzas was friendly and welcoming, and she did a brilliant job! I haven't had a perfectly baked, crispy crust, tender topping, melty cheese cauliflower pizza like that in awhile. So for the record, I have all these crazy food intolerances that require me to order specialty items: Cauliflower crust, Daiya instead of normal cheese, etc. which makes Pieology the perfect place to eat. And this pizza was truly delicious compared to some of the sticky, soggy, tasteless/oversalted pizzas I've had elsewhere. At first I was disappointed by the soda fountain. No Cherry Coke, Vanilla Coke...and then I realized...Armold Palmer? Half plain iced tea, half mango lemonade. Wow! Glad I tried it! The music may be a bit loud for some, but I was enjoying it - 80's alt rock today. The air was on a bit low, but the whole place was bright, clean and pleasant. Pieology gave me food poisoning! I got a pizza from pieology and I noticed that the pizza was half cooked and still super doughy in the inside. Pretty sure the toppings were spoiled too. Still ate because It was late and I was starving. Not only was the pizza horrible, the employees weren't any better. They brought in their own speaker and Was blasting heavy death metal that had very vulgar language. Lucky, it was only me and my boyfriend who was there but even so, that is heavily inappropriate in a restaurant. I am currently very nauseous and have been throwing up ever since. I have been to this newer Pieology location twice in the past month and had very good experiences. On the first occasion, we were the only ones inside, and it took some time for the staff to take our order. This was understandable because it appeared they were busy taking so many phone orders because of the previous lockdown. It was also nice that the patio was open so we ate our pizza there while it was hot. On the second occasion, we called ahead and had no issues whatsoever. The staff was pleasant and professional on both of our visits. They added plenty of vegetables and meats. I requested extra well-done crust, and it was perfect. A new location that is closer to me means I get more chances to have their pizza. So far so good. I get their stuffed crust pizza, which has more cheese and another layer of dough. The thing about their stuffed crust is the crust does not feel like it has cheese in it. Somewhat disappointing, but that's just the way they do it. I do enjoy all of their ingredients since they do taste fresh. I usually get a custom-made pizza made the way I want it with the toppings that I choose. This is great to have a set price for whatever ingredients you want. I get this paired with the 10 piece boneless wing and tater tots combo. I know that this place just opened a week ago but I'm not sure if I will go back. First off the pizzas are 10 inches. Larger than a personal pizza but not quite the size of a small pizza. That isn't be an issue for me, I like bigger personal pizzas. The issue we had was that both pizzas we ordered were burnt. Not the slight wood-fired char...it was burnt. That flavor overpowered the flavor of the toppings. I also ordered wings. I asked for the wings to be cooked extra well done. They were actually under cooked. Extra well done chicken wings must be the Holy Grail of wings. I always ask and almost never get them. One odd thing that Pieology has is tator tots. Pizzas and tator tots? Kind of a weird combo. My son loves anything potatoes, so I ordered a few orders. If your going to sell them to go, you should invest in a better containers. They use plastic clam shell containers. If you put hot tator tots in these, they're going to steam themselves into mush. That's what we got. I usually give a place more than 1 try but I think I'll pass this time. read more

Okay, so the pizza and wings were good! Now for the bad! Their fountain drink machine was not working so our options were bottled drinks, lemonade or aguas frescas. I ordered 2 pizzas. 1 was thin crust with bell pepper, red onions, black olives, Canadian bacon, & mushrooms. 1 was SUPPOSED to be pie raise thick crust with Canadian bacon & pineapple. Both pizzas were horrible. I got a thin crust not a raised. The pineapple pieces were sour. Canadian bacon had a Smokey taste. Skimpy amounts of other toppings. Will NOT be a return customer. The people were nice but this is the 2nd time I left feeling famished after an entire pizza so I will not be returning to the lq location. Ironically the Beaumont location I had this weekend gave 50 pieces of pineapple which excessive so I guess it balances out (sarcasm). It was dry and sad! I felt like I ate a crunchy tortilla! It's a tostada! And based on the response from the owner I can tell he/she didn't even read the review which shows their ability to have blinders and oversight. Don't bother visiting this La Quinta Pieology, it was terrible today. Won't go back. It was near impossible to talk to the servers from the loud noise inside. Not the music, maybe the a/c. Every table was dirty, we had to ask them to clean one off so we could sit down. They cleaned it and it was sopping wet and we had to dry it off to use it. On the counter they have a plastic pail with soapy water and a rag inside. I asked what it was for they said they use it to clean things off! I've never seen cleaning supplies along side utensils, napkins, soda machine etc. The counter was dirty, food still sitting on it. And the kicker...we were the only customers in the place! Not like they were too busy to clean. He claimed the inspectors told him it was ok to have the cleaning supplies there. Not going back. We love Pieology, just not the La Quinta one. read more
