    Zucchini fries to go

This is right next to my gym and nail salon, so every time I go to either, I stop here. The zucchini fries are my favorite go to snack when I'm in the area. Everything there is freshly made lightly seasoned and perfect for someone who wants flavor but wants to eat it healthy. The staff is super friendly, and their sauces, especially the house ranch is so good. Prices and portions are good. Just wish they added a little more salt to their tempura batter. That and maybe got softer seating.

Tried this place for the first time. To go place that had no frills but pretty quick. Pretty busy when I went on Friday during lent. Got a 3 piece fish n chips crispy. Tartar sauce is a fresh tarter mayo. I also got a fish sandwich one of the patrons said they like the lemon pepper tilapia. Will try something else and come back.

I can't believe I didn't know this place which has been there for 15 years according to the friendly employee. This place is another restaurant that would last and sustain with long term loyal clients, unlike the pop up greedy businesses that jack up the price using an excuse for rising costs when the actual profit margin become unreasonable. Will definitely go back again if I'm in the area

I found the place via Yelp, and it's about 2 miles from our warehouse. They have a good variety of choices. There is the fish & and chips side of the menu, and there is a Hawaiian style menu. I ordered a 2 piece fish & chips and side of cole slaw. I believe they make their own tartar sauce, too. The fish was nice and crispy but got soggy because I doused it with malt vinegar...lol The fries were a little cold, but that could've been due to drive back and not eating there. I liked the cole slaw too, very crunchy and tasty. I plan to try the Hawaiian style menu on the next visit.

I ordered togo from this place. The fish n chips is really great! The fried fish is not too oily, flaky, mild and clean. I ordered the Dinner Kettle with 10 pieces of fish with fries and cole slaw. The portion is generous, and I was stuffed after 3 pieces of fried fish. This will be my go-to fish n chips place.

Fried zucchini chips. About 6 per order

Fried Zucchini chips! Located in the same strip mall as the LA fitness and other eateries, this is a small to go location with only a few indoor seats. Menu is split between fried seafood and Hawaiian style mixed plates. Parking is readily available since there are spots reserved for non gym patrons. I was craving fried zucchini. Haven't been here in awhile and it's changed from spears to chips. As mentioned in another post, the zucchini is slightly under seasoned- but if you're planning to dip in ranch- who needs the extra sodium. But I love how light and crispy the coating is on the zucchini. I ate them so fast that I'm not sure how they hold up when left out and cold. The coating is like a very light tempura that actually crunches when you bite into them. Different from some of the other fried zucchinis that are breaded. I personally prefer this costing over the breaded type. 9/10 I ordered the 1/2 chicken 1/2 short rib plate. chicken and short ribs are the standard Hawaiian plate type. It comes with a side of blanched veggies (broccoli, carrots, cabbage) that also is under seasoned. Which may be better for those who need to avoid salt. But what I love on this plate is the potato salad. I'm generally not a potato salad fan, but there's just had a great taste and slight sweetness to it. They only give a small scoop. I have ordered a separate side in the past in a larger container to enjoy at home. Plate lunch is 7/10. I give the potato salad a 10/10 but it's a bit pricey. Sorry was so hungry forgot to take a picture!

The Double deluxe I believe it's called? It's the fish, the 3 pieces of shrimp, fried zucchini and fries!

Love this place. Had a real hankering for some fish and chips and found Pier 1. I was NOT disappointed! Even after bringing it home, the fish tempura was moist and crispy and tender. With a splash malt vinegar and a bit of the tartar sauce --- This hit the spot on every level! Thank you! I'll be back!

White meat chicken breast and steamed rice with teriyaki sauce. Took out my veggies lol

Food is always great here. Have been coming here for years and the taste and service is consistent. Right next door to a gym too! Perfect to get your protein and carbs in after a work workout. Recommend this place to everyone.

I saw that you were closed on Tuesday, 1/28/2025 for the Chinese New Year. I called on Wednesday evening and there was no answer, so I assumed you were closed. Will you be open today, Thursday, 1/30/2025?

Are you still open for business?

Yes. I visit least every other week. Some of the best fish in the area. Great service yoo!

I ordered the Mac n' chowder, and it was a perfect mixture of clam chowder and Mac n cheese in a bread bowl. It was definitely a unique dish! The rest of my party ordered the traditional pan roast with assorted seafood, and after tasting it, I wished I had more room in my stomach! While I don't eat oysters, everyone else did and I heard nothing but good things. They even ordered another dozen (for a total of 3 dozen)! Service was fantastic. We were also able to call and get our names down for a reservation, which I'm glad we did since it started getting very crowded with a long wait during dinner time. There's plenty of parking in the lot and below ground parking structure. I would 100% come back here again and recommend it to others!

Because the wait time was too long for that, we decided to try The Dive Oyster Bar -- and man are we sure glad we did. We got a total of five items: a bowl of clam chowder, the soft shell crab appetizer, the roasta, the traditional pan roast with the house speciality protein (with the crab on the side because of my dad's crab allergy), and the jambalaya, which for the last three we ate with medium heat. We shared everything (except for the crab appetizer because, again, crab allergy for dad) and found the food to be delicious, with each entree coming out tasting better than the last. Personally, the roasta was my favorite with the pan roast as a close second. Very flavorful dishes with medium heat being a good level for us (wasn't spicy for our Korean palates). Service was great, our server (unfortunately forgot his name) was attentive and quick with our requests, and although he forgot a side of rice, it was for the best as the food had settled in our stomachs by then and we were content with what we ordered. The restaurant itself is well maintained with ample table space and appropriate lighting, though the music from the evening DJ was a tad bit too loud to hear from across the table. Not a big mood killer for us, though mostly because the good was that good. We're not from this area, so the odds of coming here again are relatively slim -- but should the opportunity present itself, it'll be more than fate this time to take us through these doors once again.

I came here for snails and their egg yolk sauce was phenomenal. Highly recommend this sauce! I ordered fried chicken feet and while the flavor was good there isn't much meat after the frying so I probably wouldn't get it again. Congee was flavorful as well. I also tried the bun bo hue. It was good but not the best I've had. Personally I thought it could use a little more funk/shrimp paste. I love that they gave generous amount of rau ram leaves with every order. Ok, ok, let's try the other best seller items! No problem because the menu is huge so I re-focused. Oysters, snails, scallops, shrimp, lobster. So many choices for my big eyes. Here's what we got, based on other reviews, and they were not wrong! Mango and Squid salad - get this, get this, get this!! Perfect balance of the grilled squid, green mango, apples and citrus dressing. Oh yeah, love the prawn chips on top too . Childhood memories of good prawn chips. Grilled Scallops with salted egg, garlic oil, and scallion. I can't even tell you what number it is on the menu. Came on a pretty shell and hot platter. I just said Grilled Scallops. Grilled Shrimp, garlic and chili. Perfectly grilled, the shell full of flavor at first bite. Comes with green sauce that was hot but a good hot. Bun Bo Hue - the broth was really good and the portion was generous with the meats. I love tendons, and the cube of pork blood!Made me happy. Others have said it's not good here but I thought it was one of the better ones in the area. I would order it again. Parking can be a nightmare here because the lot is small shared with other businesses. The servers hustle here! They were very nice and efficient and we had no issues with them. Will definitely return so I can try their razor clams!! Quality of food is very good. But need to bring 10 more friends just to try more!

We ended up getting a set for $168 this time, which came with 6 dishes. It's also $35 per lb for lobster, and I asked for the smallest one. This is what I thought about the food we got. House Seafood Soup - Simple and clean soup. Good portion, and it was soothing to eat. Lots of squid. (4/5) Clams with Spicy Sauce - Large clams with tons of meat, and the sauce was fire. Always a good choice. (5/5) Crab with Salt & Pepper - Loved the seasoning, and the flavors were solid. (4.5/5) Thai Style Beef Stew - First time trying this, and it was good. A bit different, but the meat chunks were tasty and the overall flavors were good. (4/5) Sautéed Pea Sprouts - Nicely done vegetable dish. It's simple but refreshing with good flavors. (4/5) Fried Whole Fish - This dish was gone so fast because it was delicious. Nicely fried and not overly seasoned. (5/5) Signature Lobster - I feel like you have to get this here since it's their specialty. It's pricey, but in my opinion, it's the best and freshest lobster in town. Tons of green onions, seasoned well, fresh meat, and lots of lobster roe. (5/5) Service was good, and they didn't automatically add a mandatory tip for a large party. The total came out to around $364, which is pricey, but the food was phenomenal. Parking - Valet only, but they have street parking in front. I parked on the street since there were plenty of spots on a Wednesday, but I assume it gets busy on weekends.
