Passive aggressive sign in the bathroom. Not sure who in their right mind would want to take the bedding or towels from this place, YUCK!

The building is relatively updated and we liked that each room has a private patio. Sadly, the beds and pillows and blankets were TERRIBLE! Felt like the pillows were stuffed with wood chips and a bag of air. The bedding also smelled like straight bleach. I hope they can take this feedback and update the most important part of a hotel, the bed!

    Bathroom dirty from previous guess

Horrible experience .. we drove for many hours and we where tired . Try getting a room and they told us they only had one room left and we took it .. price was moderate . We took the room . Once we got to the place . They have a room to our family member that called after us and they gave them our room and we got a different room .( totally different room from the one they told us on the phone ) so my friend got a room after they told us they only had one ... no problem thats fine we was tired and all we wanted was to sleep ..... but what got me angry was that once we open our room door we found the worse thing ever ... disgusting !!! ... Im not sure if they have it to us to mess with us or what was their deal ... but after they have us another room .. now when we talk on the phone again they said we got the last room .. but yet they had another empty one and the one they gave my friends who they called after us . And just the fact that the receptionist was told to us after we told her that we didn't order a small room we order a big room . And she told me " well you guys can gladly leave " this got me more mad but we was driving over 16 hours to get to rest and on top of that I had 6 more hours to drive home . All I wanted was to sleep and not argue .. The picture bellow show how we open our room for the first time and what we found .

Hotel staff was very nice, room smelled and looked fairly clean. Breakfast was COVID continental everything was prepackaged and available for grab and go. Pool is nice 5ft feels with lifeguard on duty, bottom of the pool does appear sandy, but it's just the lining that's dirty. Great bay view looking into the Ocean Side. Pillows are extremely soft and the bed is a very firm mattress. The bathroom vent was very dirty and one bathroom tile was showering moves and looks like it does not fit in the space( kind of creepy).

The pool is large. And it is really nice.

A good hotel, clean, no issues. Try the seafood restaurant within walking distance at the adjacent property.

Also the bathroom door has louver slats that do not move and you can see directly into the room-no privacy! Ugh! I would not recommend anyone ever staying at this place -- ever!! Not even 10 minutes after filling our hot tub around 4pm, the fire alarm started going off. It wasn't just in our room, it was the entire motel. Staff could not turn it off and had to wait for the fire department. The Lady behind the desk was super friendly, super nice, and super helpful. A firefighter and police officer came. They saw it was from the hot tub. The lady as well as both of them said it happens often and gave us suggestions on how to prevent it. We followed all of her suggestions. Around 8:30pm, right after filling the hot tub as we were getting ready to get in, the fire alarms started going off again. This time, a male employee appeared at our door. He aggressively pushed his way in, turned every single light on, looked in our bags, gave us an attitude as if we were trying to build a campfire or were criminals. We had zero candles, we don't smoke. We went downstairs to talk to him, he was talking down to us and at us. He tried to tell us not to use the hot tub them. We purposely booked that room and boom rooms for the hot tub. Why would we pay to not use it? He kept talking down to us and at us like we were criminals and scum of the earth. The same firefighter came back, looked around, said it was the hot tub again and was going to tell the male employee they need to move the smoke alarms if they're going to have hot tubs. The male employee also seemed to be rude to the firefighter when he told him that. The guy at first said we'd get a 50% refund even the lady earlier told us if it happened again and we wanted a full refund we could. Then he told us no refund. Then he told us a refund. We booked through Expedia so hoping he truly refunded us or we will be arguing it with our bank. The shower curtain is covered in mildew which at first we were willing to look past since we usually just use the hot tub all night. One more thing, they did not salt in front of their office. I almost slipped on the ice going into the lobby.

It was a slightly larger room with a sofa just a few feet away from the beds. Not only was this not a suite, but the bathroom sink was just a few feet away from the bed. If one needed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, they would have to awaken everyone in the room by turning on the light to wash their hands. We decided to make the best of it, and looked for ice in our freezer to have a drink (kitchen was also in the one big room). No ice. No ice cube trays. We called the front desk to ask for the location of an ice machine. She told us to move the arm down on our ice maker. We told her there was no ice maker. She insisted there was. We told her again there wasn't. She didn't believe us. She finally offered us some ice from their kitchen, which we had to go get. Breakfast. Wasn't. Apples, cereal, granola bars and packaged, sugary muffins. There was a toaster, but nothing to toast. Even the cheapest motels offer bagels, English muffins or bread. Oh, and they allow animals. If you are allergic, or don't want to hear barking at all hours, stay away. Come to think of it, stay away anyway. They got a star because the bed was comfortable. They also do not provide any service. You need towels, or soap, or anything - come and get it....lol. Don't forget to make your bed.

There was an unknown splatter on the bathroom wall, behind the door, not sure if it gets missed or is stained. full kitchen is nice. We meet with Lisa and did a walk around the ballroom and garden room. Lisa made us feel so welcomed and explained our options and answered our questions. We immediately booked our destination wedding which occurred on May 23,2026. All our family and friend reside in Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Manhattan, Long Island, and New Jersey. Lisa and Molly began to help us find vendors by providing us with a vendor list. We chose everything from their list, and we were very happy with their vendor list. We booked a block of rooms for our family and friends. Lisa and Molly kept in contact with us the entire time. We went down for a food tasting, and we knew this wedding was going to be amazing. We meet the chef and maître d who will be taking care of us. The food was amazing. The room was set up perfectly. Our cocktail hour was great. There was plenty of staff on hand to make out wedding amazing. Lisa and Molly were both honest, professional, caring, and overall friendly. They answered the million emails I sent them, took my phone calls, and helped us from day one till the ending of our wedding weekend with the brunch. The wedding party went on without any hitches or issues. Our guests spoke about how wonderful and attentive the staff was, how beautiful and clean the ballroom was, how clean the bathrooms were, and how amazing the food was. We had plenty of space for dancing, a photobooth, rolling bar, coffee station, and seating for our guests. The food was served at a good pace and served hot. I did not feel rushed at all. When the night was over, the staff packed everything up for us and transported it to our room. The next morning, we hosted a brunch. The staff was so attentive at the brunch. All the breakfast food was so good. They cleared plates and continued to bring out more breakfast items during the whole time. Lisa was with us on the night of the wedding and at the brunch the next day. I have to say, we were so pleased with Lisa and her staff and the Flanders. If you're looking for a nice, easy going, fun wedding, you need to book here.

Lemonade, coffee, tea, cookies, and wine are available in the evenings sometimes. Water (hot and cold) available from their filtered machine. You can sit inside or enjoy the porch area where there was a nice breeze. The owner, Sne, can be found working at all hours of the day. From serving coffee in the morning, fixing something in the afternoon, and delivering ice cream in the evening. He takes great care of the place and it's decorated with antiques he has collected. Only a couple blocks away from the boardwalk/wateraprk. The hospitality, attention to detail, and cleanliness were unmatched. We were only here for a night and are excited to return next time.
