We were in town to run a race. We choose to carb load here the day before. The restaurant serves Italian cuisine. We called in advance and they took reservations 15 min before we arrived. They asked if we were celebrating and we did have a birthday. The restaurant is spacious and the decor was nice. I had the lasagna rolls and Pignetti Knock out martini. The rolls were good- very cheesy. The drink was potent. I was sipping and then it snuck up on me. They brung out a cheesecake slice for the birthday and we shared. Nice place to go when in Waco

We stopped in Waco for one night and decided to check out Pignetti's. Glad we did, The food and service were great We started with the wagyu meatballs which were tasty. Hubby got the lasagna which he loved, and I got the lobster ravioli. The ravioli were huge and stuffed with cheese and lobster with some lobster claw meat on top as well, served with a creamy, rich white sauce. If you are in the area, go give them your business.

Salmon was delicious, perfectly seasoned and prepared with a crispy sear but juicy interior. Wait staff expertly managed table of 10 guests. Drinks on point. Lively atmosphere with hanging lights and a fireplace but not too crowded or loud.

We had a really good dinner at Pignetti's tonight. I felt like the portions were very generous for the price. They were very busy on a Monday night, but our service was good. Would definitely return if we're ever back in Waco.

The server, Bryson was so great! He made our meal! We enjoyed him so much. He was in top of everything! The food was amazing and delicious! Manager was working so hard and our waiter J was so nice. We had a great time and atmosphere was pretty and the food was 5 star! Only thing was I wished they lit our candle on table. Will definitely be back to try more dishes and apps and drinks :)

Service was absolutely incredible! We stopped in for a relaxed date night after a whiskey tour at Balcones Distilling, and this place exceeded every expectation. The three bartenders were outstanding friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaging. They walked us through the menu, gave great drink recommendations, and checked in on us throughout the night without ever being overbearing. And the food WOW WOW WOW. Totally unexpected for a bar setting, but every bite was amazing. It easily rivaled what you'd expect from a full restaurant. The vibe strikes that perfect balance of casual and fun, yet still elevated enough for a dressed-up date night. This is definitely a spot we'll be recommending and coming back to again!

YUMMMYYYYY! This is probably the most authentic Italian food I've had. The lasagna was perfect and I couldn't stop eating the ricotta dip. I also had the Lavender Haze cocktail and an Up All Night, both were very good. Service was good, really nice place for date night. Can't wait to try the one in Temple.

This is a welcoming place. We were greeted with smiles when we walked through the door. The smells were enticing. The restaurant itself was comfortable. I was hoping this place would live up to its previous Yelp reviews. Let's talk about service. Klint, our server, knew his craft. He offered great suggestions. He knew how to describe food. He checked in with us without being obtrusive. His suggestions were spot on. Klint, you were a large part of the experience, and so thank you. The food: this is reimagined Italian food and Pignetti's did it very, very well. Each dish we ordered was made phenomenal. The scallop was perfectly cooked, the sauces were delicious. We were surprised by the Pasta alla Norcina. Hot honey in a pasta? With spicy sausage, it really works. This place is great for couples, girls night, work suppers, or any time you want to impress your fellow diners. Well done, Pignetti's. Now, come to an Utah so we can enjoy your food more often.

We had several other dishes not pictured. Our sever was incredibly kind and attentive. Everything was yummy and that tiramisu... obviously homemade with love! The interior isn't what you'd expect for the quality. Could use an upgrade but wouldn't keep us from coming back!

I've been here 3 times and LOVE it every time. The cocktails were also amazing. And service was incredible. I most recently went on Valentines Day. Even though it was completely booked, our waiter took the time to take a picture of my boyfriend and I. They also handed out roses to each woman for the holiday, which was such a special touch. I will say, the ricotta is a LOT. So I would recommend if you're with a big group. It was super tasty at first, but then just because a little too much.

I've had the pleasure of visiting Pignetti's twice now. Both times, I should say, were associated with Baylor - nice dinners after conferences, etc. The biggest plus here, was that both dinners were free - which I won't lie - ALMOST tipped this from a 4-star to 5-star review. This place ALMOST hits the trifecta: ambiance (cool vibe of a "warehouse feel" building with tall ceilings and a huge fireplace - very open feel), food, and service. Both visits I opted for the ribeye lasagna, and it's outstanding. Although, now that I've looked at the menu - not entirely sure the amount of food is worth that price. The appetizers we had - the Hot & Crispy Bread and Wagyu meatballs were absolute MUSTS! I'd have those again in a heartbeat. Also, please save room for dessert, the cheesecake is outstanding. Unfortunately, our group was not waited on very well, in my opinion. We had 20-30 in our group (separate room), and I'm not sure they had enough wait staff to properly serve the group. There seemed to be longer gaps in service than there should have been, confusion about drinks, and the delay processing our bar tabs (considering all the food was paid for), was disappointing. Long story short: I would definitely eat here again, so don't let my four-star review deter you! read more

Wow. This place is definitely a great find. My wife and I stopped in for dinner. We didn't know that we needed a reservation but were able to sit at the bar which had room when we arrived but filled up before we finished dinner. We had great appetizers, a play on bruschetta and one that had a hot honey ricotta with amazing bread for both. We didn't realize the appetizers were so big. For entrees I had the chicken Marsala which was the best Marsala I have ever eaten. My wife had the bolognese. I tried it and it was very tasty as well. We will definitely be back! read more

We tried it for the first time last weekend and were very impressed! The service, the food, the atmosphere....wonderful!! I had the Crema Rosa Delight with meatballs (pictured) portion size was enough to enjoy lunch the next day! The hubs had the Ribeye Lasagna and absolutely loved it! Okay sometimes I do write bad reviews, however I believe I write honest reviews. This place rocks -- wearing your expandable waist pants would be advised because you won't leave anything on your plate. We had a delicious salad that was of the dark green leafy variety with lemon oregano vinaigrette and the rib eye lasagna. Both dishes were of gourmet quality. We had calamari-- my husband loves calamari so much I don't think he is as picky as I am about what "good calamari" Is and is not. I am picky..... it was so good I avoided the cocktail sauce and only used the lemon. It was perfectly fried and fresh - not chewy or greasy. The server was sweet and professional-- actually she was lovely and I wish we had her name. The atmosphere was elegant. We are planning to come back to spend more time exploring Waco and we will return read more

Great food, and beautiful atmosphere. We came for an early dinner (around 4:30) and it was quiet. The drinks coming out of the bar looked amazing and the appetizers and main courses were fantastic. We also split the tiramisu, and it was delicious...We will be back! P.S. We saw the chicken parm come to the table next to us, you could split that three ways! It's very generous portions! read more

Food is always good. Service can be spotty. Sometimes the service is on point, others it's severely lacking. They have a good bar but some drinks are way overpriced. I had a whiskey sour and was charged $17 per drink. I expect those prices with a fancy whiskey but not a basic sour. read more

This is definitely a place I need to come back to. Overall everything was great. The calamari (not pictured) was nice and crispy. The bruschetta was delicious I do wish the bread held up and wasn't as soggy due to oil and tomato juice. The lasagna is definitely the highlight of the night as the quality of the beef made everything better. The Triple delight was good but for the price I was expecting more quality wise. However what really holds this review down was the chicken Marsala. The chicken itself was okay but the sauce was very artificial and almost like from a bottle. Maybe I'm not a fan of chicken Marsala but personally I would not order that again. The overall review is boosted thanks to a unique ambiance and excellent service. As I said, I would need to come back to try more of the menu! read more

After finishing an entire bottle of wine and wondering why the wait was taking so long, I finally tracked someone down to ask what was happening. The response? "Sorry, we close at 9." That's it. No apology for forgetting us. No effort to seat us. No attempt to make things right. We were simply left sitting on the rooftop until the restaurant closed. I've worked in customer service long enough to understand mistakes happen. But forgetting a table for over an hour and then essentially shrugging your shoulders when they ask what's going on is unacceptable. What should have been a magical final evening of an incredible trip turned into us scrambling to find food elsewhere on our last night in Texas. The rooftop view was nice. The bottle of wine was good. Too bad we never got to try the food.
