We were lucky to score reservations after the BTS concert. We were tired and hungry and the food didn't disappoint. We had chabol, pork belly and tofu soup. I loved the soup with the chunks of pork and the pork belly is definitely the best I've ever had. It looked super fatty but once it was cooked, it was sooooo tender and juicy. It really is a must try. The servers were nice, so was the valet.
Pigya is fantastic! One of the only places in America where I've seen a hang-a-ri barbecue grill (Clay charcoal grill). The price is fantastic. $79 for the tasting menu. Theres so much meat and if you split between 3 people it's an absolute steal. The service is great they cook everything for you so all you have to do is relax and enjoy. Been here three times and will come back again!
Customer service was excellent. We walked in around 4pm on a Saturday and were seated right away. Servers were very attentive and frequently came by the table to see if we needed anything. Food came out quickly. Food was delicious. It was more than enough for 2 people. There were plenty of leftovers. If you come here, come hungry and more than 3 people. Since we were in town visiting and had no microwave in our room, we weren't able to take home leftover. The one bad thing about the place was no air circulation. We sat near the patio and it was so hot.
I suppose this is why people say to never meet your heroes.... I have been a Korean bbq lover since I could pick up chopsticks so yes I have had my fair share of ayce, set meals, or ordering à la carte from numerous Korean bbq restaurants. Low end to high end I've had it all. Yet I do understand there's still more to be explored...I digress. For a set menu I will say that Pigya gives you the most bang for your buck. A good portion of meat, egg, noodles, and fried rice all cooked on an iron lid is pretty hard to find these days for a decent price. In other words, my dream come true!!! Which is why you can understand how excited I was to try this place. In which I did. Twice. Just to be sure. So it deeply deeply pains my heart when I say....there. is. no. flavor. The entire pork set doesn't taste like anything. Even if you eat it with banchan, the kimchi, or sauces. Even with just salt itself...I was quite heartbroken. I don't know about you guys but I really love the taste of meat. Especially pork. And banchan/salt is simply supposed to enhance the umami. You know? I don't know what they are doing wrong or where they are getting their meat but it has no flavor! Not even a whisper from the fat either! I will say service also was lacking when I went the second time with just a friend. We were ignored and forgotten about multiple times when requesting items. They even forgot to torch our fried rice which was a sad touch knowing they always do that. Overall, I am disappointed and saddened by the service and quality of meat. Moreover, their parking lot is mandatory validation for 2$ which is not bad for ktown but still very underwhelming. Alas, I am trying to be hopeful. So I will give this place a third chance to be sure! Final Verdict: To be Determined!
Visited 6/27/26 - Pork Gyu Set 89 Best bang for your buck as my boyfriend says. It says for 2-3 but this is definitely a set for three to four with all the sides and the bonchon. Loved the Wagyu beef belly dipped with the chimichurri. - Steamed Egg Standard, nothing mind blown but not disappointed. - Wagyu Carpaccio This was amazing. I loved the sauce it was so fresh. I was surprised to see this dish untouched at certain tables. - Kimchi Fried Rice Obsessed. Super delicious and the cheese on top torched live is the reason why I keep coming back. It's like a live show. I try to save some pork belly because I love the combo with the rice. - Kimchi Hangover Ramen My boyfriend's favorite part of the pigya experience. I am always too full to fully enjoy. But a great way to end the meal. Service is great they manage the meat quality extremely well and keep an organized grill. The vibe is perfect to drink and catch up with your friends. Bathroom is through a back door not the best but its not unusable.
Super yummy option for kbbq by the set. I shared the smaller size pork gyu set with my friend and we ended up having leftovers. We went on a weeknight and luckily got seated right away. Service was quick and I like that they cook the food for you here so you can just focus on enjoying your food and hanging out with whoever you're with. There's street parking nearby but it was super packed even on a weeknight so I ended up doing valet for a few bucks Overall thought the meat was good quality but I'm not super picky in general. Sides were good, but I wasn't a fan of the hangover ramen
This place serves the best quality pork in town. Can't go wrong with their combo set as it can feed from 2-6 people perfectly. Servers rotate in and out to cook for you and they do a great job. The meal ends with a kimchi fried rice and spicy ramen which really fills you up. My favorites are the pork jowl and spicy thin sliced pork belly!
Everything was so good! Pigya definitely needs to open a location in the Bay Area because we'd be regulars. The quality of the meat was incredibly fresh, the service was fast and attentive, and everything we ordered was delicious. Even the mushrooms were amazing. They were just as tasty as the meat! This is a perfect spot for groups, especially if everyone loves Korean BBQ. One tip: parking can be a challenge, so we ended up using valet, which made things much easier. Funny coincidence. The cross street is Kingsley Dr, which happens to be my dog's name, and we all thought was a great sign. Looking forward to coming back the next time we're in LA!
Finally got around to trying Pigya! We went on a Saturday evening during peak dinner hours, so I was a little worried about getting seated, but we only ended up waiting about 20 minutes for a table for two. We ordered the Small Pork Gyu Set along with the kimchi noodles, and omg, we left absolutely stuffed and even had leftovers for the next day. Everything we tried was so good. All of the side dishes felt thoughtfully selected, and nothing seemed out of place. The sauces were especially impressive, each one complemented the meat perfectly without overpowering it. The kimchi noodles were such a refreshing addition to the meal and helped balance out all the rich flavors from the barbecue. And of course, the kimchi fried rice they make for you at the end was the perfect way to finish everything off. Overall, this meal exceeded my expectations. The quality, portions, and flavors were all amazing, and I can definitely see why Pigya is so popular. I'll absolutely be back, and it's already become one of my favorite KBBQ spots in LA.
My coworkers and I came to Pigya for a late dinner. We got the pigya tasting menu set which came with different types of pork, steamed egg, beef carpaccio, fried rice, and ramen. I thought the meat was nothing special, but I did enjoy that they cook everything for you.
Pigya is in my top 3 favorite Korean BBQ restaurants (not ayce) right now in LA! The meat quality here is exceptional and I really like how the stone grill cooks the food. It's also a plus that your server cooks for the table. The banchan is fresh and kimchi friend rice with ramen at the end are a great way to finish the meal. Tables are a bit small but the whole vibe of the restaurant is lively and is usually packed for dinner. Highly recommend next time you're craving Korean bbq!
Pigya is going to be my new top kbbq spot in LA! Was in awe of the amount of food that comes in the set at this pricepoint- you can't find this anywhere in OC or LA. For my party of 4, I got the larger set that comes with both pork and beef meant for 4-5 people and the food just kept coming! We were absolutely stuffed by the end. Quality of the meats were amazing and perfectly cooked. My favorites were the wagyu beef belly, which the server torches in front of you, and the short rib. One thing I will say is that the meal felt a little rushed as the servers would constantly be cooking each meat one after another so it was hard to keep up, but I get that it's a very busy restaurant. Banchan that comes with the set is amazing, not a huge variety like some other kbbq spots, but every single one is high quality and essential to the experience, which I honestly prefer! Kimchi cheese fried rice and ramen at the end capped off the experience for me- such a perfect ending. The ramen was also surprisingly spicy! Our server was amazing, very friendly, and even let us know about dessert recommendations nearby. Obviously K-town parking is a hassle, so make sure to prep beforehand and leave some time to spare, especially if you have a reservation. I made a reservation through Yelp which was super helpful as I could see long lines forming here. All in all, couldn't recommend Pigya enough! Will definitely be back.
ohhhh my goodness i went to pigya two months ago but i literally still can't stop thinking about it. i went with a party of 3 and we ordered the pigya set ($79) so it comes out reasonably to around $27 per person. they cook everything for you and the food just keeps coming out LOL but it's a nice pace and there's so many variety of dishes (steamed egg, salad, hangover noodle, etc). i liked all the dishes except for the hangover noodle which was way too spicy and liquidy. service was very fast and staff were very friendly. it's definitely loud inside but i will still be coming back for sure
We had a great experience at Pigya. My husband and I ordered the Pigya tasting menu. I was a little hesitant to try a restaurant that specializes in pork since it's usually not my "go-to" kbbq order, but we were impressed by the quality of the meat. The staff cooks everything on the grill for you which is really nice. It was a good variety of different kinds of pork and side dishes. I can't comment on the kimchi fried rice or hangover ramen (I couldn't eat them due to an allergy), but my husband said they were some of the best parts of the meal. For the amount of food that we got, it was reasonably priced. The service was also solid! I would recommend Pigya if you craving kbbq or delicious pork! read more

Wow where do I begin? Absolutely loved my experience at Pigya this year. Was introduced to the restaurant by a Korean friend of mine, and I absolutely loved the food! We had the pork belly, pork jowl, beef brisket and beef belly. All four were delicious and very high quality meats! I loved the fact that they offered a chimichurri sauce in addition to the normal dipping sauces for the meats. So delicious!! The server was really nice and attentive and took great care of us. After they cook all the meats, they finish with a kimchi fried rice with cheese blowtorched on top, and a spicy ramen. I was in the biggest food coma because I couldn't stop eating even after I was stuffed. Definitely can't wait to come here again soon!! read more
The tables are smaller than a girl's jeans' pockets but their meat quality and variety at this price point is solid. Four of us split a pork gyu set for around $34 per person after tax and tip. There is so much banchan variety -- kimchi, bean sprouts, and cucumber were all so good! The kimchi is slightly sour and slightly sweet, and the cucumber leans sweet. Our group was AMAZED by the quality and amount of food that was served and we can't wait to come back! We made reservations in advance, but even though it was a weekday, we still had to wait a few minutes as most of the tables were occupied. Upon sitting down, I noticed that the grill was huge! Since it does take up a majority of the table, you might need to reach over the grill to grab banchan or any cooked meats. What we ordered: Pork Gyu combo - SUCH A STEAL! Generous amounts of meat and sides for a great value! The staff will cook the meat for you and once it's ready, they'll put it on top of a mesh stand to prevent it from getting overcooked. Each meat was super flavorful and cooked to perfection. Loved how they also put kimchi, bean sprouts, mushrooms, and onions on the grill! Super savory as it soaks up the meat juice. Pigya is probably one of the best if not the best non-AYCE KBBQ place I've personally visited. The food is delicious, and despite not being an AYCE joint, the value of the food for price might possibly be even more worth it. At $79 for 3 servings of the Pigya set, it comes out to $26.33 a person with enough food to get 3 hungry people solidly full. They also cook for you and in front of you, which is a nice experience to have and likely contrasts with most other KBBQ places As you can probably tell, I came with two friends and we ordered the Pigya set which ended up being perfect. There are 4 types of pork, steamed egg, wagyu carpaccio, kimchi friend rice, and ramen included in the set. Each of the four types of pork was of great quality, cooked perfectly, and absolutely delicious. The steamed egg was solid, and the wagyu carpaccio was a nice surprise since it's not something I expect to see very often but was very tasty. They offered to put cheese on the fried rice which, once melted over was a great addition for the bubbly melty texture and the savory flavor. The "hangover ramen" is well named, it would hit hard as a hangover meal. Since the place literally has the word "pig" in it, I expected that the pork would be the star, but if you're more of a beef person the other set has some more beef components, it'll just cost slightly more. It also comes with banchan/side dishes so there is absolutely enough food included in the set It was a dark and casual ambiance, typical of a KBBQ restaurant. Our server cooked things efficiently and served us well. valet parking available $4 cash, $6 venmo in the lot right next to pigya! came on a saturday evening around 6PM and surprisingly didn't have a crazy wait. a big crowd did come after us, so i think it was just luck. the service here was great, with the servers grilling up the meats for us & being so attentive with recilling our water + bringing bonchon as requested. the restaurant is a great size and seems to be well managed. the overall ambiance was lively and diverse. we ordered the gyu+pork set for $109 -- the total came out to be around $140 after tip and tax for 4 people! the meats here are so high quality, fresh, and cooked well by the servers. theres no "porky"/gamey taste to anything. the bonchon is also so fresh and well prepared. overall, amazing first-time experience at pigya :) shoutout to our server, with the long blond ponytail! read more

This place was top tier! The quality of meat was great, the banchan selection was superb. The one thing I will say is the way they melt the cheese onto the kimchi fried rice with the torch made it taste a little like butane. But that's to be expected I guess? It is a little loud in there but that's pretty normal for a popular restaurant. Service was great though! Make sure you order a barley tea, it helps with digestion after consuming all that food. read more

We ordered multiple combos of the pork gyu set since we had a big party. Was very delicious and my favorite was the boneless short rib they had (we ended up ordering more of that and beef tongue). Service was great and we had great seating inside with privacy and heat lamps from the cold. Environment and ambiance was very aesthetically appealing. Make sure you have a reservation, this place gets packed for all the right reasons! The combo deal is just that...An amazing deal on price, quality, and quantity. The servers will cook all your food which is a plus. Only downside is they were insanely busy so make sure to push if you want more drinks or bonchon. I was just in Korea and Pigya is on par with what I had there, great quality meat and plenty of it. There is parking in the lot but small, they also have valet. read more

TLDR: Pigya is a great spot for quality Korean BBQ with generous portions and solid side dishes, recommend making reservations on yelp, affordable valet parking ($4) next door Craving KBBQ, we checked out Pigya after hearing good things, and it lived up to the hype. We made a reservation for 4 on Yelp and would recommend going early since parking can be tight--street parking/valet - (cash, Venmo, or Zelle accepted). The restaurant is small and clean, with quick and attentive service. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and amount of food. We went with the large tasting menu ($109 - enough for 4 adults), "pork gyu," which came with four different cuts of meat (pork & beef), plus steamed egg, wagyu carpaccio, ramen, and kimchi fried rice. The meat quality stood out--definitely better than what you'd get at AYCE places, and the portions were generous. Banchan was also solid, with a few unique offerings I hadn't seen before. The ramen was flavorful but leaned a bit spicy for my taste, though it made a good end-of-meal dish. The kimchi fried rice was tasty--just wish the portion was bigger. Pigya in K-Town is my go-to for Korean BBQ. For the price, quality, and portions, it's hands down one of the best bang-for-your-buck spots around. We came in on a Tuesday and got seated fast, even though we were waiting on two more people, the staff told us there was no rush, which made the whole experience feel relaxed. One of the staff members even brought an extra chair for my girlfriend just so she could set her stuff down, a small thing, but super thoughtful. The inside was dark yet inviting. We always order the Pork Gyu set, it's a combo of pork and beef. The regular Pigya menu sticks strictly to pork, but this option adds in beef, and it's definitely worth the extra. Portions here are huge, and they always hook it up. We ordered Caprisoju, basically a pouch like a Capri Sun, filled with soju, and they've got tons of flavors like mango, yogurt, strawberry, and more. It's a fun twist, especially for first-timers, and DANGEROUS. Does not taste like any soju in there, but HITS. They end your meal with fried rice torched with cheese right at the table, plus their hangover ramen, a warm, rich finish that hits every time. The meat quality here speaks for itself, especially for pork. Some other places serve questionable cuts, but at Pigya, it's always fresh, thick, and juicy. With a name like Pigya, it's what you'd hope for, and they deliver. Parking's a nightmare if you're trying to find street spots, especially on weekends, they offer valet and honestly, that's your only real option unless you enjoy circling the block for 30 minutes. Big shoutout to our server Connie, she's helped us before and she always stands out. Kind, fast, and super knowledgeable; especially when it comes to comparing quality across K-Town BBQ spots. We had a small conversation towards the end of the meal of places she's been to around the restaurant. She even walked us through new menu items and gave solid recommendations. This was easily the best kbbq experience I've had. The quality of meet was fantastic! Plus it wasn't too noisy even though the restaurant was full. The food was excellent, service was great also. The kimchi was a standout part of the meal along with the pork belly. I'll be thinking about this food for the next few weeks. read more

10/10 BEST KBBQ experience I've had in LA! K-town is no joke when it comes to the quality and service for a KBBQ experience. Pigya delivers in not only quality, but VALUE. Large abundant side dishes and the food quantity is exceptional. We ordered the PIGYA tasting set and were blown away from the portion and taste! The Pigya set consists of pork belly, pork collar, pork cheek, and the belly chadol. The meat was so fresh and like most KBBQ establishments in K-town LA, it is cooked/prepped/cut for you at your table. Enjoy the photos and videos as this busy, lively, and amazing restaurant deserves a 5/5 star review. read more

We specifically chose K-Town Pigya to host friends visiting from China, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. My boyfriend, who is Korean, joined us, and everyone was extremely satisfied. The portions are very generous. We ordered the 4-5 person beef combo, and since there were several guys in our group who really love meat, we added an extra order of beef and one order of pork belly. Surprisingly, we still couldn't finish everything -- the portions were that big! The staff handled all the grilling for us from start to finish, so we could just relax and enjoy the meal without having to cook ourselves. The service was attentive and efficient. The flavor was excellent. My friends and I travel to Korea often, and we all agreed that this place tastes very authentic. My boyfriend, who grew up in Korea, also really enjoys the food here, which says a lot. Definitely a great spot for groups and for anyone looking for real Korean BBQ in LA. We'll be back! read more

Friend of a friend recommended this place and it was delicious! Better than expected, they cook the food for you so it's cooked perfectly and you get a good amount of food! We go the pork gyu package and omg I cannot wait to go back it came with both pork and beef cuts. I have recommended to friends and want to bring more friends to enjoy this with us! Connie was our server she was amazing and recommended the best complements to our meat!! The place looks nice inside, clean and inviting!! read more
this place is absolutely insane. the meat is immaculate, sides are of great quality, i have no complaints for this place. service was excellent, waited 20 minutes for a table for 9 which was impressive, and prices are so good. i shared the bigger sized pork gyu set with four other people and we were struggling to finish it but made it through, it was the perfect amount of food. comes with ramen and kimchi fried rice at the end which was so cool, and the meats were of top quality. i am definitely coming again and have been recommending this place to others. read more
I LOVE THIS PLACE. im not normally in ktown LA so maybe this isn't the best pork in town, but for the price i really can't complain. we always get the set & I've tried both now & honestly the cheaper one is better. the amount of food is so worth. i recommend getting 2 (2-3 ppl) sets if you have 6ppl instead of the larger set. it's more food. the pork belly is the best part of the meal. they have $4 valet next to the store read more

Gyu combo was perfect for two very hungry people. The wagyu and pork belly were delicious, tender, and flavorful. The ramen was the perfect way to finish off the meal. Great food and great service! The classic set is very affordable and a huge portion for the price. I've consistently had leftovers to take home after eating here. I also love that they fry up your leftovers-- the kimchi fried rice is so yummy. The only qualm I have is that the floors can get pretty oily/slippery like many KBBQ places. Street parking can be limited, but I've gotten lucky parking on nearby streets. Would recommend if you're looking for your fix of good quality pork! read more
This review is longggggg overdue. Pigya still lives rent free on my top3 kbbq spots in LA. It's just GOOD. No frills GOOD. You get the grungy smokey bbq essence, loud and poppin, everybody drinking and enjoying themselves. It's a vibe and the food is solid. I always get the Pork Gyu combo so I could have best of both worlds. Don't be afraid to ask for more kimchi or bean sprouts for the grill, they'll bring more out! Ramen and kimchi fried rice at the end is a really nice touch. One thing to note is that the service completely flops when they're too busy. I've noticed recently the love and care isn't as prevalent as it used to be. But I expect that from a super busy bbq spot so def not surprised nor will it stop me from giving it 5 stars. If you want to fully embrace the kbbq culture just go here and you won't be disappointed. Just don't expect to go anywhere else but home after cuz you will stink lol read more

Love love love and can't wait to go back! My friend and I got the Pork Gyu from their Tasting Menu that's supposed to be for 2-3 people, but honestly can feed up to 3-4 people because we were beyond stuffed. The banchan were all tasty and save room for the ramen at the end. It was a little spicy but so yummy, also make sure to save some of the pork to eat alongside it. I highly recommend. Service and ambience were both great. It was surprisingly busy for a random Monday night but we were seated pretty quickly. We opted for their valet which I believe was $4, it was more convenient than driving around looking for parking. read more

So delicious! I came here with a party of 3 on a Friday night at around 9:30pm, and we STILL had to wait around 40 min, so I'd definitely recommend getting here early if possible. I honestly kind of forgot which menu we chose, it might have been the Pork Gyu? But just know that everything was sooo good. The servers cook the meat for you, and everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The accompanying sides and sauces were great too. Loved the kimchi fried rice and ramen at the end too. Got the beef / pork combo here. I really liked the pork here it was crispy on outside and juicy on inside. The servers cook for you which was nice. The steamed egg here was also really warm and fluffy. We made a reservation beforehand so did not have to wait. Also valet parking $4 cash. read more
Amazing KBBQ in LA! This spot has been recommended to me for the past 2 years and it didn't disappoint. Parking is pretty tough as it's either valet for $4 cash ($6 Venmo/Zelle) but the parking lot is very small or street parking but hard to find. . I came here with a friend on a Friday when it opened at 5pm, so we were able to grab the valet parking. We ordered the Pork Gyu Set and it was delicious! There were lots of sides that were filled every time the plates went empty, and the set comes with a lot of food for 2 people. My favorite meat was probably the Fresh Pork Belly, but also were flavorful and unique. We were unable to finish the kimchi fried rice and hangover ramen, along with some of the last meat, but were able to take it home. Staff were super friend and nice as well! Highly recommend and will definitely be back! read more
SUCH A TASTY KBBQ EXPERIENCE! I hadn't been to kbbq for a while and this was such a good comeback meal for it. We made reservations in advance for seven people. They only do four people a table because of the grill so we had two tables. We ordered two orders of the Pork Gyu since it was two tables (2-3 servings, $89, and 4-5 servings, $109). It was more than enough food! Banchan, egg souffle, ramen, kimchi, all the meats! Service was quick and on-top of it all. Our one server was cooking on both our grills, doing a great job of swapping out meats and moving the meats over when they were done being cooked - very efficient. The only thing to note is that no white rice was part of the package so you'd have to get that on the side. Also the food came out with meats first, then fried rice, then ramen. The ramen was also pretty spicy, so some people in our group didn't like it. For all the food, it was decent price. I was so happy and full after it! It's a busy place so definitely recommend making a reservation. read more

The service was fantastic and our waiter was an excellent cook. He was very fast and efficient. Each meat was cooked perfectly and was tender and flavorful. I liked every component of the set menu.
