The average rating is surprising on Yelp regarding Pike's, but to each their own. My experience at Pike's Automotive in Windsor was very good. I would highly recommend their business services. I priced shopped and found Pike's was the best and they honored Veteran's in that as well. More importantly, my truck service was completed in the window stated, and the owner, Mike communicated clearly and was kind. But... for me, it's the little things that go a long way that ices my loyalty. They didn't have to wash my dirty truck or remove/fix the nail in my front left tire - at no cost, but they did. Thought I lived locally from the shop and had a second car, they offered a vehicle to use if needed. That's the service I look for and they got mine now. Unable to assist in an emergency because they were too busy. I understand that they have appointments but the guy behind the counter acted like I was really inconveniencing him to even come in. I used them to put four new tires on a car previously and same thing even when I had an appointment. Walked in and everyone tried to act busy so they wouldn't have to address the customer in the lobby. I just think they have so much business that they completely gave up on customer service. Wish I could give 0 stars. My car overheated in front of this store last week so we asked them to take a look. They quoted us $4600. We decided to have it towed and take it to our family mechanic in Loveland for a second opinion. It was 1/4 of the cost! This is my first time being taken advantage of by a mechanic and it is infuriating. It's people like YOU that give auto shops a bad name. Always get a second opinion. read more

I had misread the owner's manual and thought that the transmission fluid needed to be changed at 40 thousand miles. I asked Pike's to get it done. This is a $350 service. They checked with the car's manufacture and found out the transmission fluid did not need to be changed until 80k miles. They did not complete the service because of this. I am totally impressed with the integrity of the mechanic and Pike's in general. What other auto repair would take the time to look into this, and then save me the money? Not satisfied. Took my vehicle in for what I thought was going to be warranty work. I had a bad feeling from the get go. I got a call and they wanted $2000 to fix it because they found something else and in order to do the warranty work they needed to fix something else. I told them no. I called 3 other places who all told me $2000 was WAY too much for what they told me I needed. So I went to a specialist and they said that Pike was completely wrong. My car didn't even need what they wanted to replace. It was something completely different. I am so glad I got a bad feeling going in there because that kept me from having them fix it. As some of the other reviews said, they are rude, especially to women. They come across as being superior. It is very unfortunate. I tried to email them directly and didn't hear back. I got twice the service and work for half the price somewhere else. read more

Awful just plain awful as small town as you can get with the big time prices and that I don't know you treatment so you get the "extra charge". Did it absolutely pathetic terrible job on my vehicle alignment and new tire installation. Would not ever recommend this place to anybody. Service is rude and pathetic. The overall attitude of the store is you are expected to pay them just for them gracing your presence. Took my car into a different automotive repair center in Windsor and had to pay an extra $370 to fix what pike ruined and have permanent damage done to my wheels as their technician scratched every single one of them them. So much for taking the advice of somebody who goes to their daughter school "Christian" people are nothing but a bunch of hypocrites. read more

Pikes have been our car guys for many years. The work they do is always first class and their prices always seem very fair. Mike is a treasure and goes out of his way to be so accommodating. We would never even think of using anyone else to work on our vehicles. And yes..they have great integrity. read more

Few months ago, had my truck in for service work! My spare tire was loose, and Pikes said they could not tighten it up because it needed a new ratchet that tightens up the tire hanger also had them look at breaks because the truck pulled to the left had pikes replace ratchet for spare tire and they said they fixed the breaks! Went back in to pikes the owner was working the front desk and I asked if they could look at the spare tire ratchet that they replaced because the spare was loose again, and I had a tire that needed patched and said the breaks still have an issue pulling to the left. I t was told by the owner can't look at the issue because we are booked! never went out and looked at the problem actually could care less! Pikes got 700 plus dollars and could care less if the problem was ever solved on my vehicle! and could care less if the spare tire came loose and caused a wreck The owner of Pikes made it loud and clear with is attitude! " I got your money now go piss off" nice customer service!! Won't be back!!! read more

Simple flat repair on my 2018 VW atlas. I could tell pretty quickly even though it was my first time in that these were people that I could trust. I think other places would have tried to give me the "unrepairable" song and dance and ask me to purchase new tires. These guys didn't do that. $22 later and I'm on my way. Took my car there for a repair. They wanted literally 800 and 300 in parts for a repair I had done for 300 labor and 220 for parts! On top of that they charged 140 for diagnosis for what I assume would have taken little time for a qualified mechanic to understand. Can't understand how they get business in a small town. read more

Me personally I have been in twice to ask for wheels, tires and the other for service. Once got a tire fixed that I dropped off. This time the reason for the review is as follows. My wife called pikes this am to schedule an appointment to get a tire fixed. She called me after and told me she was upset because the guy that answered the phone was very rude after she asked for an appointment. He said we can schedule an appointment but it's not like we can get you in right away still might be over an hour. Anyway anyone that can't take an extra 5 seconds to be nice especially to a woman wont get my business. read more

Daughter took her jeep for an diagnostic estimate. Keep in mind, it was driven to Pikes! They required a fuel pump change before they could diagnose, which we paid for. They needed to change another "fuel" part which we paid for and then came back with it being nothing related to the fuel line and wanted to charge us another 2k after paying $1200 already. We said just put everything back for us to get another opinion they didn't put the vehicle back together and we had to tow it to another shop! Called and discussed this with both guys and they were disregarding and arrogant. We try to use local but I would say go elsewhere! read more

These guys are great! The job was finished slightly ahead of schedule and the estimated amount was right on the money. We have found it hard to find trustworthy and reliable mechanics to whom we can trust our older Subaru with, but Pike's is our new mechanical home. We found Pike's on a recommendation from a friend when we moved to Windsor. We always had fantastic, high quality service. Mike and his crew were always friendly and remembered us by name. When we moved out of Windsor, we ended up needing a mechanic and found another local shop in our new town. Mistake. We came back over to Pike's and Mike dropped what he was doing to take a quick look at my car. He made a quick adjustment (for free) and got me back on the road in minutes. We learned our lesson, and will be making the drive to come back to see Mike and the rest of the crew at Pike's. When you find a mechanic you can trust, it's worth it and Mike and crew are definitely worth it! read more
