This girl is in a wheelchair so any opportunity I can get to wheel myself around a real Farmers Market and not be bombarded with thousands of angry people...YES PLEASE. Get there while it's new people! We even got there within an hour of closing and had a great time! I wished I had a few more business names to give you besides Missionary Chocolates but, alas, I don't and Bridgeport Village really seems to not really be promoting this a huge amount so I was unable to find a list of vendors. I only really saw about three actual farm stands with produce and two carried berries mostly. We did grab some of the best looking lettuce I have ever seen though. We also bought some of the most amazing sausages. One berry stand was a bit jacked up with a very angry woman shooing away children. Speaking of which...I am about to get on my soap box a minute to parents. Seriously, I love you...I do - you do something I myself just cannot do BUT, please feed your kids. These are kids riding brand new fancy bikes in their fancy clothing...CLEARLY you have the money to feed your children...there are some good places for that right around there...seriously... Because every time I would get remotely close to anything at all some psycho kid would cut me off asking for samples and then the vendor would help them...all of them. Honestly, besides us and the parents of these kids it was pretty slow so getting bum-rushed but kids on approach was a bit much. With that said, there were hand made soaps, baked goods, flower arrangements, jewelry and crafted goods. Also, I really wish we had look at the location before parking all the way in front of Marios - that area of the parking lot is always so crowded due to most of the restaurants being over there leaving the garage pretty free for parking. So I rolled myself and my husband walked at the way over since the market is located on the street inside the mall area in front of the parking garage every Tuesday night from 4-8pm. We are definitely going to try to start going regularly.

It took 3 of us about 45 minutes to pick 11 pounds of blueberries! And it only cost us about $22 if I remember correctly. Such a bargain! And what amazing customer service. Really great place!

The ladies who greeted us were very nice. They encouraged us to try all samples. We ended up buying flats of day-old strawberries, just picked berries and tayberries. And I purchased some jars of jams and honey. The berries tasted sooooooo good. We canned quite a bit and my friend cannot wait to hand out jars as gifts this season. The farm does take credit cards, but charges a fee for using one. Cash is preferred. There is plenty of parking. This is definitely a family-friendly place.

We stopped in on a cloudy Saturday and ended up with soooo many berries! Bring your own picking containers. You can purchase small buckets that they have available in the shop for $4. Go into the shop first to have your own containers weighed. The weight is deducted from berry weight. Then off to pick! They have several varieties. We saw strawberries, marionberries, raspberries, & tayberries. Their signage also lists boysenberries but I didn't see those in the rows. They also offer blueberries but they're not U-pick. Their strawberries are June bearing and were already done by the time we made the trip over. We'll be back next year to get a bunch of those. *They have berries ready to buy in the shop too if you don't want to U-pick. I like this farm being very conveniently located, easy parking, and a very short walk to the fields. They have wagons if you need to haul containers, boxes, or any other items out to the field with you. The berries are VERY good and the entire field appears well maintained. They've become one of my favorite nearby berry farms. Stop in for a visit. It's a fun day for the whole family!

This family farm was a nice stop on our berry picking tour of Hubbard. While our first stop ended…read moreup being the best of the bunch, this farm specializes in marionberries (26 acres) with some organic blueberries (1-1/2 acres) on the side. My son is fixated on blueberries, so he happily sat on the grass and picked berries from the low hanging bushes while the rest of us focused on the marionberries. The highlight for my son is that the family that owns this farm are serious Oregon Ducks fans, so they get bonus points from him. Compared to other farms, the pickings were a little slim, but the folks are very nice.

Great place to pick organic blueberries! Went out to the farm on Saturday and got there about 10…read moream. There was only about 3 people already picking and while we were there probably only 10 other people came so there was plenty of space to pick with out people crowding you! There were 2 different kinds of blueberries although we only picked 1 kind, but gave a nice variety between sweet and tart. The owner was very nice and had buckets lined with bags all ready for us so we could just pick into the bucket and take out the bag when done and ready to take home. You also cannot beat the price at $1.75 a pound! I believe we looked at the organic farm in Portland and it was about $3.50 a pound and I am sure a lot more crowded. I am going to try and get back here again this year and definitely next year.

I got of early today for the Memorial Day weekend. Decided to stop here since I always drive past…read moreit but since I get off at 530pm they are closed. Today was a perfect sunny day to stop in for some fresh sugar snap peas and of course a strawberry shortcake. The peas were great. Big healthy peas. And my shortcake was amazing. I love this time of the year. My only negative about my shortcake I suppose would be I wish they had more strawberries in the sauce and maybe even topped it with some fresh cut strawberries. That would take it to the next level. I will definitely return for another go around as they offer a variety of fresh produce. Oh and I also snagged a bottle of local Bloody Mary mix.
