Phenomenal food and atmosphere. The hamburger, chicken fingers, and ribs are great! Awesome place to bring the family and watch planes takeoff and land. Great value and specials are really good

The food and service was great. It had a robust menu for kids and adult. My husband and I both ordered the Reuben and enjoyed it. Kids loved the buttered noodles. My only complaint had to do with the waitlist. I joined from yelp before I arrived because I was trying to reduce the wait time with my three kids. I am not confident that joining the waitlist prior to arriving did anything and, if it did, then the estimated wait time / number of people ahead is very wrong. It said the waitlist was less than 10 min when I joined, which was equal to my drive time. Once I arrived, I notified them I was there. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes in the wait area and every single person waiting went in ahead of us, so there was literally no benefit to joining the list ahead of time.

What a fun spot if you're into airplanes, lots to see, decor is so cool! Had friendly service and great seating! Food was good, really loved the tenders. Drinks were fun and good. Very sugary though. BUT good. For me, this is a one time visit, just to see & check out. For an avid airplane enthusiast this is definitely a must visit spot!

Went on Good Friday, so we expected busy. But told 45 minutes, that turned into 90 minutes. We then went into bar for a drink and was able to sit at a table in there and eat, first come basis for those tables evidently! We all got the same exact thing, but every plate looked different. Some fish was barely cooked including soggy breading on the fish, some pieces nice, hot and well cooked. Some pieces were nice, some were super thin. Fries nothing to write home about. Cole slaw, bland dressing and includes apples. I don't like fruit in my Cole slaw. Hush puppies were almost raw in the centers. Ice Tea was to strong. Service...slow, we were forgotten about 4 times. So not a great experience overall, gave 2 stars for decor and ambiance.

Fun place for family to enjoy and look at the planes. Food service was quick and great. Would definitely come back for the plane experience

LARGE fish and chips. Notice the hush puppies hidden amongst the fries- very flavorful!

Wow! What a cool airport restaurant. I had the fish and chips. While they were a bit more than I usually pay, I more than got my fill. The fish was cooked just right and the fries were very tasty. The ambiance is super-fun, if you are a pilot and plane nerd. Lots of stuff on every wall and more hanging from the ceiling.

Pilot Pete's is a neat restaurant at the Schaumburg airport. The airplane decor is plentiful and eclectic. It is nice to get a window seat and watch the small planes take off and land. The lobster nachos are delicious! Plenty of lobster and cheese with the usual nacho toppings on the side. So good! The burger was tasty. The chicken tenders and honey mustard dipping sauce are addicting. Yum! We had great service. They have consistently good food. A great place to eat.

I looked up highly rated Vietnamese restaurants and found Tasty House 1 in Carol Stream. This place is everything we anticipated it to be. The location is nice and has parking in front, inside is super spacious and had a relaxing and breathable ambiance. We ordered a family appetizer platter that came with all the delicious Vietnamese appetizers like: spring rolls, bbq marinated meat, fried eggrolls, grilled jumbo shrimp, meat wrapped in betel leaf, lettuce, noodles, cucumbers, cabbage, tomatoes, daikon, jalapeños, two dipping sauces: peanut butter hoisin and Vietnamese fish sauce. Another appetizer we got separately was the fried calamari which had a great crunchy texture, the absolute best! For our entrees I decided to build my own pho and chose tripe, rib eye steak and quail eggs. My husband got the spicy beef noodle soup (Bun Bo Hue). This is honestly the best Vietnamese we've ever had in our lives!!!! I'm so glad I found this place. Awesome service, food and atmosphere. Zero complaints everything was very fresh and perfect. Our hearts left super happy.

There is a separate vegan menu with half a dozen things on it, and other than the drinks and desserts, pretty much nothing on the regular menu is vegetarian. (The papaya salad, which is on the vegan menu, is a ringer: it contains fish sauce.) You've got your choice of various fruit lemonades, bubble teas, popping bubble teas, jellies, etc. Desserts include flan, Vietnamese yogurt, coconut jelly - none of which you'll be eating onsite as you'll be too full after your entree. Portions are on the large side - even the papaya salad is a meal. I got the peach lemonade, vegetable spring rolls and the tofu, vegetable and noodles, which turned out to be a soup, basically Vietnamese ramen. The spring rolls are tasty and come with peanut sauce; the vegetable broth was savory with lots of baby bok choy, plenty of noodles and cubes of fried tofu - it was even better with some of the homemade hot sauce, which I highly recommend. The lemonade comes in a bubble tea disposable cup and contains tiny pieces of fruit - very fruity, not very citrusy. Service was friendly and very personable, which helps if you're serving 16 people. All of whom were happy.

I had the Shrimp Bruschetta which was loaded with shrimp and tasted amazing. Portions are huge but they were so good we had no leftovers .lol. I got -shrimp po boys (x-tomato) with fries -one of each sauce -peach cobbler On my 15 minute drive home everything was still fresh and warm and crispy. -Fries were SO perfectly seasoned I almost didn't even need a sauce, which for me is crazy as I need a sauce with everything (but I always try it first without). -The po boy...my god. It was so crispy, fresh, the shrimps were perfectly battered (hate when they hide the shrimp between 10 layers of batter), the lettuce was fresh and surprisingly not wilted by the time I got to my destination. I'm not one for cheese on my po boys, and almost got it without, but im actually really glad I kept the cheese on. -Sauces were all great, the Roumalade is where it's at though. I could've really just had 10 of those and been happy! The tarter was a bit less zesty/tart than what I'm used to, but I ended up putting the hot sauce in it and it was delicious -peach cobbler i have yet to try, but it looks so glossy and creamy, will be eating tonight! The service was really just the cherry on top. Elizabeth, the owner, is the one who greeted me, and she was just a doll. She's a sauce queen, like me, so she made sure I try every single sauce! And gave me the peach cobbler on the house as it's my first time there. She's just the sweetest! You can tell her, her husband, and her son just have so much fun together. I'm just so warmed by my experience there, as she went so above and beyond, AND my food was impeccable. She insisted that I upgrade to the plate instead which included cole slaw and potato salad for a small extra fee so I proceeded to lock it in. Shortly after, her husband Kenny greeted me and we had a friendly talk for a while. They hooked me up with an additional side and drink (they did not have to do that) which I thought was a very kind gesture. My food came out prompt, hot and fresh. I ate a few shrimp and fries while there before hitting the road. Everything was crispy, seasoned well and appetizing. I ate the cole slaw and potato salad later at work and enjoyed each. Le P'tit was the first to pop up on my feed and immediately caught my attention due to its unique menu, historic building, and secluded outdoor oasis for the fair weather seasons. When asked where I wanted to have dinner on my birthday, the answer was easy, L'ptit! We were greeted by the Chef Chopra outside, who welcomed us and asked us to choose the seat that suited us best in or outdoors. We chose a seat outside as it seemed most guests were enjoying the nice weather in the garden. Chef Chopra introduced himself and explained the complimentary montadito, and presented the current specials. We loved that he took time to ask what brought us in, and when we said that we were building a new home in Bartlett only minutes away, he shared that although he has been all over the world he always misses good old Bartlett, IL. This is the kind of connection and service you won't find at franchise restaurants! We enjoyed cocktails, myself a dirty tini with bleu cheese stuffed olives, and my husband the traditional old fashioned and the P'tit old fashioned - both of which he enjoyed. We ordered the hummus for an appetizer - my husband never orders humus. Not a drop was left. It was so flavorful, and since I am intolerant to gluten we loved that it was served with cucumber "chips". We will definitely order this again! Our entrees were both specials - mine the steak and shrimp tower and my husband's the Birria. We could t decide whose was better. The shrimp and steak were so flavorful and beautifully cooked, and the beef and consommé of my husband's was out of this world. My takeaways from Le P'tit: We will be there - regularly, before we move into our home, and after! Have a cocktail, they are fabulous. Talk to Chef Chopra any chance you get. He has seen the world and loves to see his guests enjoying his menu and the atmosphere of his establishment. This is what supporting local is about! Enjoy your time at Le P'tit. Savor. Take a moment to slow down, disconnect from the outside and connect with the ones around you and enjoy the wonderfully and thoughtfully prepared dishes on the menu. We can't wait to be back!

So, on a warm and humid evening, off we went. We were greeted warmly and seated in a booth quickly. The ambience was similar to a steakhouse- but tastefully done and not over the top. Our waiter- who appeared and acted just as though he'd aced his final waiter-exam at Bonefish- brought over a specials menu, a happy hour menu for drinks, and a regular, one-page menu. All on paper; easy to handle and clean (always a plus). I quickly ordered 3-mini-tinis (presented very fashionably - see the pic), and he brought out a mini-bread loaf with olive oil and - what appeared to be basil- dip. The only demerit here: this loaf wasn't warm and had sat around a bit. Man. I loves me bread, but it's gotta be warm. No worries - when we finished he brought out a 2nd mini-loaf - which WAS warm. Oh yay. The mini-tinis were nice- though I think the one with the floating jalapeno was - while inventive- a bit too spicy. Still, it hit the spot. Hubby ordered the shrimp and scallop scampi, while I ordered Walleye (man, I love this midwestern fish - so nice and flaky!). It came with jasmine rice and broccoli- and frankly it was awesome. Hubby also liked the scampi as well- not bad indeed! A couple quick notes- not sure I liked the uniforms for the wait staff. Just seemed too much like a hospital with a look like white smocks. Hmm. But gosh, Bonefish- is it too much to ask that you use the portable terminals so I can pay at the table without letting my credit card out of my sight? Strange, isn't it? The US invents the tech, then we never deploy it until the rest of the world uses it first (which they do, btw). Will we come again? Yes! The prices are reasonable, the portions and ample, and the ambience is just fine. But gosh- let's get the bread right by bringing out soft, warm loaves, please. That's my first impression of the meal - and it was - sorry to say - lacking a bit.

The Fritto Misto was delicious. I love the variety of seafood was in it. For drinks, I ordered the Peach Blossom and I really enjoyed it. It was fruity and not very strong but that's just how I like my cocktails. For entree, I order the octopus. I'm usually picky when it comes to octopus but I thought it was cooked well. It was tender and has a nice char grill flavor. I tried my friend's frutti di mare pasta in both the white and red sauce and both pastas were very good. I usually like white sauce but I actually preferred the red one. We pretty much ordered all the desserts on the menu. We order the cannoli board, crème brûlée, lava cake, and tiramisu. If there is one dessert you need to get, it is the tiramisu. It's probably one of my top places to get tiramisu now. All the other desserts were good but the tiramisu was outstanding. SERVICE: our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Cefalu. Can't want to go back.
