I always get the sweet potato tots with apple butter because well it's my favorite item on the menu. The Cajun fries follow closely behind. Today I wasn't feeling a burger so I opted for a salad and it may have been my best idea yet. I ordered the Tropical Salad with steak and decided to add a fried egg on top for only $1 extra. This salad comes with lettuce, tomato, onions, Parmesan cheese & pitons (little pieces of pita chips) and dressed with guava dressing. Yes, you read that correctly... GUAVA dressing ::heart eyes::. Hands down best salad I have ever had! The service is always great. From the cashier who takes your order to the bus boys who pick up after you, everyone is friendly and pleasant. I ordered a bowl during this virus and had it delivered for lunch to my home. The delivery came quickly but the bowl was more than half of only rice, a small pinch of pico de gallo and 4 small cubes of chicken. I was shocked at how bad this portion was. I was basically paying for a bowl of rice. They need to fix the portions and make sure there are more amounts of protein and pico and less amounts of rice. read more

Pincho Factory is one of my favorite spots on 40th street. Their warm welcome, and their amazingly fresh food all make the experience satisfying and wanting for me to come back over and over again. The reason I give it 4 out of 5 stars is maybe because of price. I will admit, the place is a little expensive for what you get. The flavor though, in my opinion, will make you forget about the cost. The place is also a little tight too, and can cause lines to reach out towards the entrance on a busy night. Also, the floor heading out towards the bathroom hallway is always really slippery, so be careful! Apart from these minor annoyances (Nothing is perfect anyway, right?), Pincho Factory gives you a unique experience like no other. Personal favorites of mine are the Pincho Burger (gonna figure out that special pink sauce real soon!), the Toston Burger (famously unique), their Custom order system of Wraps/Sandwiches/Salads/Kebabs, and the Sweet Potato Tots. (Be warned, the Tots are extremely hot and will burn you if you decide to bite into it without thinking twice.) It's a 3.5 really! :) I had heard SO much about this place and was finally able to make it. The hostess recommended the Toston Burger with a queso frita (did I say that right?) - It was very good but I was a little disappointed because I was waiting to be blown away and I wasn't. I'm hoping my next visit will do it for me. My husband had the Perfecto burger with a fried egg and loved it. Guess I'll try that next time. Had the Cajun fries but I wasn't a huge fan of their pink sauce. The service was very friendly and the place is small but cozy. Whether it's a cheat day or not they have something for everyone and it's all pretty healthy. I stopped in today for lunch after the gym and had their Mediterranean chicken salad bowl. I've been to this location before and have been following them for a while since I first heard of them on Burger Beast. (Note: I absolutely love burgers and have been attending Burger Beast hamburger house burger fest for years) The location is in a shopping center which has adequate parking. The location is relatively small/medium sized. It got pretty busy while we were there and saw a few people wait for tables. They didn't seem to wait long since tables ate and left. I do love that their mural pays tribute to some of the other great Miami restaurants like Arbetters and Frankie's Pizza. Burger Beast also greets you as you enter. His logo and "Burger Beast was here" is on the right wall next to the door. Food- I must admit that I have only ever eaten burgers here because that's what they're known for. They're delicious but I'm not impressed with their menu. I love the Latin roots but a Toston Burger is not what I expected. I tasted it back when the Burger Beast had the first Burger Fest and was overwhelmed by the tostones. I didn't try it again after that. Just wasn't interested. The next Burger I tried was the Fritanga Burger and honestly it didn't hold up like I had hoped. (I feel like the 109 Burger Joint Burger does a better job with their Nica Burger) Next up was the Perfecto Burger without onions. It was way better than previous burgers. It also paired well with the Cajun fries, also without onions. (Can you tell I don't like onions?) The Cajun fries were delicious. They're on the skinny side and I feel like the Cajun seasoning is sprinkled on rather than cooked that way, if that makes sense. My bf had the Jupiña Express Burger, sweet potato tator tots and 627 Ale. The Jupiña Express tasted very similar to the Perfecto Burger but with an added sweetness. Coupled with the sweet potato tots and sauce was a bit much. I was surprised at how... zesty? the 627 Ale was. It looked like orange soda. Overall, Pincho Factory is a good place but not my first choice. It's smaller seating options don't offer much room for large parties and the menu seems lacking in Burger options. read more

Been coming here for years. Have the app and everything. Lately ( 6 mo or so) I've noticed the quality go down a lot and today was what broke the camels back. Ordered a chicken platter w rice/beans tostones. The chicken was dry/hard as hell and looked old. No big deal as it happens and ive come to expect that at this point. What ruined my meal was the extremely salty tostones. Im not talking about being overalted. Literally it looked like it was dipped in salt (both of them) and then placed on my platter.... I could have just thrown them away but now theres an insane amount of salt everywhere so the only thing that was edible was that dry ass chicken.
