The last time I came here I was a child probably under 10 years old and I decided to visit again now that I'm 30 and the flavor is still the same! My pan con lechon was delicious! I'm a little sad that they forgot the hot sauce but nonetheless the sandwich was devoured in like 3 minutes lol

It IS the best Pan Con Lechon in Miami and Zion, the Jamaican chef is THE man. This may not be a hipster spot, but it is not to be missed. Cubans, Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, Jamicans all converge here. The "Flauta" is an entire Cuban loaf double stuffed with pork and onions feeds 4. We had leftovers because we ordered a small with no onion for Laurie. It's massive. Juicy, garlicky. Haunting.

Was in the area and saw this place that an IG food influencer had given a good rating so decided to stop by. The service was quick and sandwiches were served impressively quick. I've had many pan con lechón sandwiches in my life and this one fell a bit short. I felt that it lacked some kind of flavor. I also wasn't really too big of the chicharrón bits in the sandwich, but that's personal preference. I wish the sandwich has a bit more to it maybe even just some mayo could help. I ordered a mango slush which was very refreshing but I wish they had natural mango juice instead.

Pretty good pan con lechón. No frills no extras. I ordered a whole Cuban bread size to take home and share. When I got home I put it in the oven to warm, about 200f. It's was just fresh soft Cuban bread, chopped lechón...pretty flavorful without being over seasoned, and some diced onions. Simple and satisfying. There's not much to say about the place it has an area to eat in and an outdoor area advertised as a party space. They do take credit cards or cash. And they advertise fresh juices but they stuff in the machines looked far from fresh. I would recommend just coming to pick up an enjoy at home. That way if you want you could add some extras to your sandwich. I would come back if in the area and craving some pan con lechón. I wouldn't say it's a must but you would be surprised how good something so simple could be.

Hands down, this was the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had. The bread was perfectly toasted on the outside while staying soft on the inside. The meat tasted fresh, flavorful, and well-seasoned. It was a little greasy, but in the best way possible--it was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the same sandwich and agreed that it's the best Cuban we've had so far. I also tried a non-alcoholic mango daiquiri, which was refreshing and full of flavor. The plantains were another standout and the best I've had in the city to date. This is definitely a place I'd return to for the Cuban sandwich alone. Everything I saw being served to other tables looked incredible as well. If you're visiting Little Havana, I highly recommend stopping by and giving this place a try. It's a spot that lives up to the hype. I wish we had this place is Phoenix. I'm going to miss it.

We ordered the chicken fricassee and vaca frita, along with a Cuba libre and mango daiquiri. The roasted chicken was incredibly tender and juicy, and the tangy sauce complemented it perfectly. The vaca frita was soft, flavorful, and just as delicious. Both dishes were excellent, and we especially enjoyed the cocktails as well. The service was fantastic from start to finish. Easily one of our favorite restaurants in Miami!

We started with the goat cheese croquettes, which were delicious! The marmalade went well, and the pickles onions and jalapeños cut the richness and were a nice complement. Husband had the Masa de Puerco chino and loved it. Big tender chunks of pork, super flavorful. I had the abuela's ropa vieja, and it was perfect. I don't even usually like plantains, and the Maduros were delicious! Oh! And the Passion lemonade was SO GOOD!! Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Regardless when we arrived they sat us outside which is exactly what we were hoping for. Our server was nice at first. Explained all the popular dishes got our drinks out very quickly. I think she stole our table from someone else because shortly after someone came and we told them we put our order in and he seemed a little bothered. Unfortunately, our other server disappeared and never checked up on us. We pretty much didn't have any napkins during our entire duration of our meal. At least that part was good. We started off with a couple of mojitos and their Vaca Frita Tostones. You get these homemade maduro tostones topped off with shreeded beef in a moon sauce, pickled onion, and aji Amarillo aioli. A very delicious dish that didn't last long. Shortly after we received our main dish. I really hate when they do that. My wife ordered their Abuelas Ropa Vieja and I ordered their Masa de Puerco Chino. My wife didn't really care for her dish much. We've had plenty of Ropa Vieja before and would have preferred a congri type of rice as opppsed to just plain white rice. My dish was 10/10. Like in the name of "chino" this is an Asian inspired dish with fried rice, maduros, pineapple confit and crispy pork. A very delicious dish. It could have don't without the little salad on top, but at least it ads color to the dish. The crispy pork tasted so amazing and the fried had so much flavor. Mix in some of the maduros and you get a sweet and savory dish. Would definitely be returning to try this dish again.

We ordered the Cuban sandwich and the Cuban burger, and honestly both were dangerously good. The Cuban sandwich was exactly what you hope for -- crispy bread, perfectly pressed, packed with flavor, and the kind of sandwich that makes you pause mid-bite and just nod at the person across from you like "yep... this was the right decision." The Cuban burger was also fantastic -- juicy, flavorful, and big enough that you start questioning whether you should have skipped breakfast. The area around the restaurant was great too. Nice vibe, good energy, and perfect for walking around before or after eating... which you will probably need to do after finishing that burger. The servers were good -- friendly, attentive, and thankfully didn't judge us for attacking the food like we hadn't eaten in three business days. Overall the place has a fun atmosphere, great Cuban comfort food, and the kind of menu that makes you want to come back just to try the things you didn't order the first time. The roasted pork was tender, juicy, and packed with savory garlic-forward flavor.
