The closest thing to Hawaiian poke! Fish so fresh. BIG PORTION. Everything just delicious and fresh and flavorful. Always went there when i was super hungry and yet still couldnt finish it. Service abit slow, but they are all super friendly. I would recommend yall to order online in advance instead. And pick it up! If you ordered your food there, expect the waits around 20-30 min. The place is super cute, you can sit outside and enjoy the food. No sitting inside the building tho. We enjoyed the food in our car. Packaging is solid so I wont leaked or anything. Absolutely recommended!! It's becoming our weekly routine trip.

We were finally able to check this place out. Super cute little spot, there's not too much of an area to dine it but there are a few seating options outside. This is definitely a pick up and take home kind of thing. The way the food was packaged was very good. The containers are sturdy and make it easy for transport. The people working there were very friendly upon walking in and the pick up was seamless. The food is hands down amazing. The shrimp was my favorite along with the lumpia. Go check it out, you won't regret it.
Ever since the first time I tried this place in Dallas, I've made it a goal to have it every time I visit. It's really that good! It reminds me of Hawaii. The poke is so fresh and delicious. If you can only order one thing, you gotta try to garlic shrimp, it reminds me of the famous Giovanni's (iykyk). So flavorful, and every bite keeps you wanting more. I enjoyed the mochiko chicken, but it definitely could be crispier. If you have tried Pine Isle, wyd? Run, don't walk.
Absolutely one of the best Hawaiian spots in DFW. It is a takeout spot; so, don't expect to sit down and eat inside - there are sitting outside if any are available. Workers are moving fast and doing their best to prepare orders especially hot foods as fast as possible - never had to wait too long even when I was ordering 3 different hot foods plus pokes. Even despite 25min travel time, the food taste so good. You can even ask for sauce on side, which does make your eating experience even better personally. I've tried a lot of their menu and my 3 favorites are Nacho Poke, Miso Salmon, and Mochiko Chicken. I know, you are probably thinking their poke is not even in top 3? It is good, just those 3 were even better. & Trust me with nacho poke.

I really didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised! Came here with some friends per their recommendation. I haven't had poke since moving to DFW area. They sang the praises of this restaurant, especially considering that the fish is regularly flown out from Hawaii. I ordered. It was a bowl mix with one of the salmon and tuna options. It took a bit of time. About 20 minutes. Nonetheless, well worth the wait. Alongside the poke, there was crab salad, edamame, seaweed salad, and half mix greens and rice. Everything by itself was delicious. Together... oh my goodness. I am literally salivating as I'm thinking about it. I can't write more. Otherwise, I will embarrasingly drool on my desk and keyboard. Highly recommend.
If you love poke, I have a spot for you. Pine Isle is a restaurant located in Dallas, with delicious, fresh-tasting poke. I came later in the day and got to try a regular poke bowl with 2 scoops of protein (creamy spicy ahi & creamy spicy salmon)! The bowl also comes with rice, krab salad, seaweed salad, edamame, ginger, and wasabi. This is definitely my new go-to for when I'm in a poke mood!
My daughter wanted to hit up this place on our way home from Dallas to Houston. Mind you I am not in line to Poke on road trips.... Service was great they have 2 fish options , Tuna and salmon- 2 ways. I am not a fan of Tuna because it's a bloodier fish so it you can taste the iron and I don't particularly like the texture. (Still not a fan but it was really good tuna). The salmon had skin on which I'm not usually inclined to, but the fish was so fresh and the prep was done so beautifully that you can't go wrong- it was like butter. Don't plan to sit inside- take it to go or sit at the benches on the side of the building. I like the concept from a business perspective because they are focused on the product and customer service not having to worry about clean up bussing tables etc. they focus on their food. We got poke bowls, macaroni and the canned drink. For $16 it's a very generous portion I have to tell you, it's not a stingy serving. Haven't had really good poke in a while and I love that they are not asking you to build your bowl you can add and subtract but they know how it tastes good no decisions required
I'm only rating a 4 because I have not been in this location and experienced the service but ordering from here has been seamless. I always order the poke bowl with salad and rice but decided to try the poke nachos with wasabi octopus and shoyu ahi and I'm so pleased. The wonton chips on delivery where still crispy and not soggy which is a plus but the flavors within the nachos just come together no matter what protein you get. I also order the lumpia which is 10/10, I am no stranger to lumpia. I've had the musubi and the fried musubi and I recommend both but for a more fulfilling option definitely go with the fried musubi.
Pine Isle was delicious! I got the fried musubi and mochiko chicken. Every thing is made fresh so it does take a little bit of time, so I'd recommend ordering ahead. They were also running low on a lot of items by the time I got there, around dinner on a Friday. Only outdoor seating if you're hoping to stay and eat so be prepared. My only complaint is I do wish they had pictures of the menu or something that offers a little more explanation in store.
2.5 I wanted to like this place, but it fell short for me. The first turn off was having to wait in line for a pickup order. Kind of defeats the purpose of ordering online. I ordered the pork lumpia that was just ok. I got the kalua pork plate. The mac salad was very bland and the rice was gross. The kalua pork is absolutely delicious. I won't return, but if you go, I highly recommend the kalua pork, just don't get the rice. It tastes off. The only seating is a few outdoor tables.
My friends got pine isle takeout for me after I delivered my baby. Man oh man was it good. It definitely hit the spot. I think she got me three types: shoyu salmon, shoyu tuna and spicy salmon. I loved all of them! The fish was so tender and not fishy tasting. The flavor was really good. She also got the deep fried musubi and it was amazinnnnngggg. 10/10 would recommend. Would like to go back and try the other dishes!!
Pine Isle has gone viral a few times and I was excited to finally try it. This is a to-go only concept, and their online ordering was way to use. The order was ready upon pickup so overall the ordering process was simple to navigate. The poke bowl and their nachos were all very good. My sister and I decided to share both so we could try more items, and we both were impressed. The meat tasted fresh and the portions were generous. We both enjoyed the meal and definitely understood what the hype was about. read more

Say whaaaaaaaat?!? Pine Isle is great! We had seen some excrement reviews and wanted to give them a try. We headed down to Dallas one only part way there we found out it is take out only. Not discouraged we continued on only to find some delightful picnic tables with nice umbrellas which is a great spot to enjoy the delicious food here. We had the Poke Nachos which were fresh, well seasoned, and absolutely outstanding. We also had the Kalbi plate and this is one of the best versions I have ever had. The service was friendly and quick enough considering you can watch them make everything to order. Fantastic spot and more than worth the trip! Highly Reccommended! read more
This is the spot!!! After hearing nothing but great reviews about this place I finally came around to trying it and it's definitely going to be my new go-to. I got the poke nachos with the creamy and shoyu salmon. It comes with crab salad, edamame, tobiko, and sauce on top of wonton chips (add avocado!). It was so fresh and not fishy at all. The salmon was cut in big cubes and they gave generous portions! The chips also didn't get soggy and weren't greasy. I'll definitely have to try their other menu options! read more

This place definitely lives up to the hype! Pine Isle is a take-out only establishment. It's a pretty small space, but I noticed a couple benches outside. We placed a pickup order, and it was an easy transaction with the employee. We got two large poke bowl. I got half rice and half salad with creamy spicy ahi, wasabi tako (octopus), and shoyu salmon. My boyfriend got just rice with creamy spicy salmon, wasabi tako, and shoyu ahi. The fish was very fresh and the flavors were on point! My friends and I agreed that it started getting a bit too salty, but adding more rice balanced it out. I personally wouldn't do all salad because it wouldn't absorb the sauce. Friends got the fried musubi, which had a nice crunch and the same flavors as your typical spam musubi. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu the next time I'm in Dallas! read more

The staff is very friendly and motivated to get you exactly what you want. The food here makes me miss Hawaii for sure! Speaking with the staff, they told me that the owner lived in Hawaii and learned a lot of these amazing recipes. Love it! read more

For being the newest authentic poke spot in dallas i thought it was pretty good! When we went, there was a line outside but it didnt take too long and the service was quick and v friendly! There isnt any indoor seating and there are limited tables outside infront of the restaurant fyi! We got to try both the spicy and shoyu flavors for both salmon and ahi - the ahi was really good! It def is the closest to the poke ive had in hawaii that you can find in the dfw area - the texture of the ahi was spot on! But i may have gone on an off day as the salmon was a liiittle fishy for both flavors, but the spicy salmon was better since it was covered in more sauce! But the ahi was really fresh and good for both shoyu and spicy c: I def will be back bc I want to try the salmon poke again and to try their other food items as it looks really good! read more

Pine Isle lives up to the hype - the menu and quality of the poke feels like someone dug up a shop from Hawaii and plopped it down in east Dallas. I tried the spicy tuna and shoyu salmon, and both types of fish were fresh, well-seasoned with sauce but not overly so. They also have other Hawaiian classics such as kalbi (which is very popular as an entree in HI even though it's Korean), kalua pork, garlic shrimp, and spam musubi. The portions are pretty good for the price ($16 for regular plate/bowl and $18 for large). Note that even if they display a certain type of fish, it may be unavailable: they still had some spicy salmon left in the display case but I was informed I couldn't order any because it was being reserved for online orders, which was slightly disappointing. Orders also take a fairly long time to be completed. It's largely a to-go establishment with only 1 small table inside and 1 outside. Would not recommend planning to dine in unless you're banking on getting lucky. read more
I honestly can't say enough good things about Pine Isle. Everything you read and everything everyone says about this place is true--it really is that good. I don't normally feel that strongly about poke anywhere in the mainland because it's just okay, but Pine Isle was the first poke-specializing place that I felt like everything tasted just like how poke tastes in Hawaii. Of course that makes sense because the owner is Hawaiian, but wow... to get a slice of Hawaii in Dallas? A true blessing. I love their poke nachos, mac salad, spicy salmon... basically everything. You have to come and try out what the hype is all about because they truly deserve the hype and more. Note that they only have outdoor seating, so it can get really hot during the summertime. However, most people I know just order it for takeout and eat it at home. Please open more locations in Dallas! We desperately need Pine Isle to come to Plano (or even Austin). read more
Ever since moving to the DFW area a few months ago, we have been coming here every other week it seems. The poke plates and poke nachos are our favorites. The fish is fresh and marinades are flavorful. Honorable mention for the fried spam musubis. We normally order ahead online and dine at the picnic tables in front of the restaurant since they have no indoor dining. They provide cold waters outside and the tables are always clean and have an umbrella attached which is a plus for when it gets too sunny. read more

This place is very popular and it's easy to see why! The poké is sooooo good. It's as close as you can get to Hawai'i this far inland and flavor is spot on. Rice is cooked to perfection. The garlic shrimp is the right amount of garlic. Shell wasn't as soft to easily eat but I still ate it all anyways. I'd come here just for the poké again. The regular spam musubi wasn't anything special. Maybe not enough sauce. No seating indoor, they have about 3 or 4 tables outside! Parking isn't terrible either. read more
Probably the best poke spot in Dallas. We ordered take out and the fish was still super fresh and well seasoned. Portions are HUGE!! I got the two scoop half rice and half salad with shoyu ahi and creamy spicy salmon. Bowl was filled to the brim and the flavors complimented each other very well. We also got the pork lumpias which were decent. The loco moco portion was huge too. The gravy was a bit more soy saucey, less gravy tasting, but overall was standard. Definitely come here for the poke. They sell out pretty fast! Will check out the store in person soon. But from the pictures looks clean and tidy. read more
Highly recommend ordering online and picking it up due to the small restaurant space. There is really only 2 sit down tables in that area. But please be patient when you do order there since they do get overwhelmed with orders sometimes! I got the poke combo and it was pretty good for Dallas quality. This place is hands down the best Hawaiian poke restaurant in Dallas-- no competition. I've been struggling to find a good poke spot to replace Don Don Poke in Plano, and nothing ever came close... until now. It's a 45-minute drive, but my sister hyped it up so much that I finally agreed to go. She actually drove there twice last weekend, but it was sold out just an hour after opening on Saturday. One of the staff members told her it's best to order online since their inventory updates in real time. We placed our order online, and it went through! Just to be safe, we also called the store to double-check before heading out. It was a long drive, but 100000% worth it. I haven't been to Hawaii, but I can tell their poke is as authentic as it gets. At first, I was a little thrown off by the price, since most poke spots I go to are around $14. But once I saw the portions, it all made sense. They did not skimp on the fish, AT ALL. I actually had more fish than rice by the end, which never happens! The shoyu ahi tuna, shoyu salmon, and creamy salmon were all incredibly fresh and delicious. If you like spicy, definitely go for the creamy version. We also tried the kalbi and fried spam musubi; both were made fresh to order with generous portions. The space is small since it's designed for takeout, with just two tables inside and one outside. Luckily, nobody was dining in on this Wednesday night, so we grabbed a table and dug in right away. The place was buzzing with people coming in and out to pick up their orders. I overheard a worker say they only make what they can based on the day's fish delivery, which explains the exceptional freshness. I truly hope business keeps booming so they can open more locations quickly, especially in Plano. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for bringing amazing poke to DFW area. Don't even bother trying other poke places to compare, Pine Isle is in a league of its own. read more

I LOVE Pine Isle!! It's always an essential stop whenever I am in Dallas. It's worth the hype and the flavors are extremely addicting. The shoyu salmon and creamy salmon are my favorite poke options. Everything I've tried here is sooo good and I am also a fan of the garlic shrimp and kalbi. Pine Isle does not skimp out on portions and I feel the price is very worth it. Always make sure to order ahead to guarantee it hasn't sold out for the day. read more

A small Hawaiian style poke joint with big island vibes in Dallas! The shop is small, they have two small tables inside and a small table outside, definitely made for more of a take out style poke joint. Poke: for bowls you can get salad, rice, or 1/2. The regular comes with two scoops of poke and the large comes with three scoops. The fish were all really nicely portioned and extremely flavorful. I liked that the cuts of salmon were thick and I even saw a few pieces of fatty looking belly in mine. Mac Salad: very creamy in a good kind of way! Spam musubi: solid choice, if you like fried things definitely get the fried spam musubi, the crunch is next level! Overall I really enjoyed my stop at Pine Isle, if I'm ever in this area of Dallas definitely worth the stop for their poke! They do have some plate options on their menu that looked really good, will have to try next visit! read more
Pine Isle is probably one of the best poke places I've had in DFW in quite awhile. The fish are in nice big chunks and the sauces flavorful; both the shoyu and the creamy (mayo) sauce. I wouldn't wait too long to get the poke since they tend to sell out towards the end of the day. Even their Miso Salmon is good. I highly suggest ordering online beforehand or else you'll end up waiting in line for 10-15mins at the restaurant. read more
I was so excited to come hear since hearing about it! I was told the lines were long and food sold out quick when it first opened. I will say this restaurant is a lot smaller than I expected, there's only 2 small tables inside and 1 table outside, and most of the space is taken up by the kitchen. I shared the Kalua pork + cabbage plate + 1/2 pound of shoyu salmon with another person and it satisfied us. The food came out really quickly too! We both really enjoyed the food itself, the small side salad and mac salad were good additions to the meat and rice, and at the end we ended up just combining the poke with the leftover rice. There aren't too many places like this in Dallas that serve the poke like this, so it's good to see! I would come back :) read more

First time here & I was really impressed with the fast service. I didn't call in the order which I'll do moving forward, but the service was great & lots of Aloha! I was so happy to see meat Jun on the menu. The poke was tasty & I felt like I was back on the islands. The Mac salad was ono too, but I would prefer a little more carrots. Overall, I'll be back to try more items! Oh.. and the laulau was delicious :) read more

The food is good! I really like their poke. The Miso Salmon was okay. It was cooked perfectly but over sauced. I haven't tried anything else but will definitely be back. Togo only Hawaiian food off Fitzhugh. It's made fresh so takes 5-10 minutes for the plates. There are some outdoor seating options too. The sushi bowls are good - plain or spicy salmon and tuna! Their plates are so tasty; large portions with sides included. I love the mochico chicken plate- deliciously battered and topped with spicy sauce over rice with Mac and cheese!! Atmosphere isn't great so not giving 4 stars but do recommend for takeout/delivery read more
