piece of the spicy tuna. i've gotten spicy tuna many places & this was not it. also it does not look fresh

I'm not one to write reviews but one of the reasons I came here was bc i saw the good reviews... i was very disappointed. honestly i think the workers were the reason the whole experience was bad. the poke is actually the worst i've had. I also asked for a sauce on the side & wasn't responded to then went back to ask again & the other worker told me it was extra... the tuna looks sus at best. i would never rec this to anyone & that's unfortunate bc i love poke.

Just threw out my entire bowl of poke because the second I tasted it I realized the spicy salmon/spicy tuna were old and would get me sick. I literally asked the person working there if everything was fresh and he confirmed. Cream cheese is warm and nasty.

Typically I love this place but today I had gotten a bad batch of tuna, my pieces were hard ??? It actually made me throw up. The customer service was also weird

Still a delicious spot in the hill area of walnut hill. Great spot to pick up food from multiple venues (makes for a happy family!) and enjoy some nice dining al fresco. We've added The Hill in our regular rotation of mice weather day spots! The kids love running around and the adults enjoy imbibing on patios!

Cute interior! Mindy made our bowls quick and it was delicious and fresh. Will def be coming back :)

Hidden at the side is this Pokeworks at The Hill. Non-stop takeout orders being filled this weeknight. Pleasant enough and efficient were the assemblers. A regular size signature bowl of Spicy Ahi I had. Fresh was the ahi tuna, delicious Sriracha Aioli, and, I loved the textures of the condiments to each bite. From this visit, I am now aware of the measly spoonful of substituted cauliflower rice for the additional cost. Being so, my perfect bowl will cost $6 more for the cauliflower rice. Hmmm - worth it?!? CHEERS!

I've been here quite a few times in the past and although I really love poke, I feel like the quality of fish here has gone down a bit. The salmon doesn't look quite as fresh as it did in the past, and I'm surprised they didn't throw out the fish chunks that weren't fresh/turning brown. I ended up getting shrimp because I was too nervous about ordering the fish. All the other ingredients are good though! I will probably go to other places for poke for the time being though.

Poke is one of my favorites foods and having practically lived off it last month in Hawaii, I was definitely craving it so happened to stumble upon this place and decided to try for lunch! So happy I did! It's crazy good ! And really super reasonably priced too!! Had a spicy poke bowl which was delicious. You can take it as it comes or customize it! I added some extra jalapeños and Thai spice to kick it up a notch! So good! Wish I had one of these places near me ! Love it

Was so excited to check out poke for the first time and with Pokeworks options I was even more excited. However, this excitement diminished event more when I picked up my bowl. I ordered my food online as I had to get back to work quickly. I liked the various options that they had--shrimp, salmon, chicken, kale, pineapple, green onions, peppers, cream cheese, avocado, and so many others. I picked the two protein bowl with shrimp and spicy salmon along with an array of toppings and sushi rice. However, my bowl was mostly rice with just a sprinkle of toppings. I am not sure the salmon was even in the bowl. I likes that the bowl was a littlw warm, but that was it that I liked. I was not super impressed.

Clean and well laid out, this little food establishment has the right recipe for success. From the moment I walked in the door I could tell they knew how to treat customers right. I was greeted immediately when I walked in. One of the first questions was "have you dined with us before?" I said no, and the helpful staff led me through some wonderful options. From the reviews, I knew I had to try the lemon chicken Farro soup. I also ordered half of a turkey avocado salsa Verde sandwich. The combination was fantastic. The chicken broth soup with farro, spinach, chicken and carrots was delicious. I purchased two more bowls to go. The turkey sandwich was freshly sliced turkey, cheese, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and a very light mayonnaise type dressing. It was grilled like a Panini making it warm, fresh, and delicious. I've already told my husband we will be going back again this week. I had a chance to visit with one of the staff and they told me a little bit about expansion plans for the chain. I'm looking forward to seeing more open in Texas. Definitely a great place for lunch or dinner. Order at the counter and then scan the QR code at your table with the number on your receipt. Staff will bring your food to you. How easy is that? It looks like they also have a large pick up business. I can see living nearby and doing that frequently. Multiple locations in the Dallas area. Give them a try. I feel confident you will like it as much as I did.

The menu is fairly simple with slight variations on how the main protein or component is served. I mainly order the chicken entree with the chicken being juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. Rice and a side salad (I upgrade to the very tasty Greek salad) complete the dish for a balanced, refreshing, and nutritious meal. Must Try Item: The Loaded Fries, are my guilty pleasure. They are basically french fries topped with spicy feta cheese. Would never even think to pair the two together, but such a match makes for an culinary delight. And for those worried about it being spicy, its not, just gives the flavor more punch, no actual heat. Makes for a great appetizer. The quality and care that goes into the food is obvious as everything comes out looking fresh, healthy, and appetizing. While it does have places to eat your meal in the establishment, no make mistake that this is very much a take out place. Don't come hoping for a sit down, table service restaurant. Its light, airy, modern, and well maintained/cleaned. The staff are friendly, helpful, and pretty thorough with your take out making sure that the items you ordered are exactly the items you get, and packaged with care to insure it arrives to your destination in good condition. While this may be a take-out establishment, you should be prepared for prices on the higher end so expect to pay more per person. The food portions are of a good amount and with the elevated quality, the elevated pricing kinda makes sense. The pricing really is the only drawback, otherwise I'd eat here more often.

Parking was easy (a win), and despite the 20-person line when we arrived at lunchtime, it moved quickly. The place was packed. Service was efficient. It's that optional tip, flag-style setup where they bring the food to you, and everything came out fast. No complaints there. They also offer both indoor and outdoor seating, which I appreciated -- though I will say, inside was very loud. Cozy, yes. Quiet, no. Now for the food. For me, everything was just... too seasoned. And I say that as someone who loves flavor. The cauliflower was overwhelmingly overseasoned (borderline aggressive), the broccoli was forgettable, and the mashed potatoes were a hard no. The steak came out rare instead of medium, and while the shrimp was fine, it wasn't memorable. I genuinely did not enjoy the cauliflower at all. To be fair, the rest of my group finished their plates and seemed happy -- so this may just be a personal palate preference. But at a $75 bill for the group, I expected to understand the hype a bit more. It's a warm, inviting concept in a great location, clearly beloved and always busy. For me though, the flavors were too heavy-handed, and I wouldn't rush back.

The music is nice and you can tell they really focus on creating a beautiful Mediterranean experience. The food is completely incredible and very unique. This is not your average Greek pita place. This is a restaurant that could easily be in Turkey for some European country. We started with the Mezza platter ( $29) - which included 6 different dips. It's pricey for an appetizer, but it is definitely worth it because it's so unique and flavorful. It was probably my favorite thing that we ate. Everything felt just a little bit overpriced for what it is. My baseline comparison is Hillstones and R&D, and this is definitely Hillstone's pricing, but not the same experience overall. My wife and I shared the lamb shank and the falafel platter and also had a side of cauliflower (which was incredible). My 3 year old had the kids item which was $18!?. it was all very very good. My wife and I had a glass of wine and the average price was $18. They also had no descriptions of what style of wine it was e.g. Cabernet Sauvignon. When I asked the server, he just recommended the Caymus. The service was transactional and something you would get at most fast casual restaurants. I get that a lot of the servers are not professional servers. For the mezze platter, it would've been helpful to have an explanation of what was on it. Basically they brought the food. They took our order and that was it. Parents: they have one kids meal which included four chicken kebabs and a side of either rice or fries ($18). The price felt very steep for a kids meal. I probably would rather have had half the portion size for half the price.
